First the positives: next to a river, close to a golf course and shopping. The negatives: Over priced for the facilities, poorly kept with long grass and very poor restrooms with very primitive showers. This camp is not very big rig friendly with limbs and power lines that should be higher. Get a firm price before accepting a spot. We were quoted $35 when we made our advance reservation. The price jumped up to $38 when we arrived. We mentioned membership to FMCA and Good Sam so he discounted down to $35! I like to feel like I can trust the camp ground owner to shoot straight. We will not stay here again. It's just to primitive. We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Motorhome.

We loved this charming campground! The price was amazing, especially for a full hookup, and it was cleaner than the last state park we visited. The facilities are not modern, but are well-maintained. We camped less than 20 ft from the riverbank! Everyone was very friendly. We can't wait to go back and camp there again! We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Motorhome.

This is the type of park you'll hate or find it satisfactory. We wanted to be near Purgatory Golf Course and this is right across the street. They have very limited big rig sites but we were able to get 50 amps on the river. The park is not kept very pristine but it's acceptable. No amenities were obvious including Wi-Fi. Plenty of room to maneuver. Lots of old campers and full time residents. We would stay here again because of the location and it did have a certain peacefulness. Golf course is great! We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Motorhome.

Previous review is accurate. There were some minor potholes in the gravel drive, not serious. The sites are level and actually gravel with encroaching grass. I found the campground very spacious in a quiet park-like setting. There were a few children out playing. Verizon MiFi card worked fine. There is also a boat launch for the river at the campground entrance. This is definitely a nice place to stay. And the price with full hookup is reasonable. We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Roads are gravel and a little bumpy as gravel roads are but no potholes. Sites are grass. Lots of big trees around pull through sites so our rooftop TV dish did not work. Sprint cell phones & air card worked OK. No circuit breaker on 30a power outlets. A Sunday night was very quiet. Lots of long term (summer season) RVs here but no problems, looks like they are used on weekends/holidays. We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Site was nice. Hookups were fine. Check in was very friendly. Condition is run down with a lot of permanent residents who did not do any upkeep on their sites. Potholes on all roads were horrible and you could not drive around them as there were too many. Would not return due to condition of access roads We camped at Riverbend Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
