Jun 2016 - $34.00
Stayed at site 46. 75% of sites are in decent shape. The others leave something to be desired. Make sure you drive through before picking out a spot. Some secluded spots. They have 2 peninsulas with very nice spots. Bring an extention cord! - 94dutchman
Jul 2011 - $35.00
There are a few site with full hook-ups but not many. There is no swimming pool, but there is a beach front for swimming. Plenty of kids riding bikes and adults driving modified golf carts. Very family friendly. The weekend we were there they had activities planned for the whole family almost all day. Very roomy sites. We will go back! - sfrye5853
Oct 2017 - $24.00
This is a park that is for local camper's on a seasonal basis. Very few sites are available for overnight visitors. The site we had was hard to level on from side to side and back to front. The sewer tap in was located 20-25 feet from our RV. The staff was very nice and the place is kept very clean. However the seasonals have a lot of "stuff" around their RV's from sheds to golf cart "tents" and large wooden decks. - Teacher's Pet
Sep 2013 - $20.00
Found this place on Good Sam's campground guide. It is run by a private non-profit club for the benefit of the local community. The majority of sites are seasonal campers with a limited number of overnight sites. Recommend that you call or email a day or more in advance as the office is closed during the day. We drove up with no reservations, but found a someone who directed us to one of the few available sites, A 50 amp and water crushed stone back in. The water was in the right location and shared by 4 sites each with there own shutoff. The electric was on the wrong side and the outlet itself was upside down which made securing our surge protector difficult. We had a fire ring and picnic table. The grounds seemed well cared for, but our fire ring was chock full of cans and garbage. This is not big rig friendly unless you can get one of the new sites that are off by themselves. Just keep an eye out for low wires. The people running the place are very nice and were helpful. TV via batwing was fair. We had networks but not CBS. Verizon cell and broadband were both good. - Bob and Inga
Jul 2014 - $17.00
Clean, quiet, country campground that makes for a very pleasant basic stay. Owners are very friendly and live on site. Gravel sites and roads. Setting is very rural, but town is only about 3 miles away. Verizon cell service was excellent. No Wi-Fi in the park. Most sites are nicely shaded but open enough for easy satellite aiming. Would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area. - Edistobob
Aug 2017 - $27.00
Just an overnight stop. Small park, convenient for overnighting when heading north or south. - Dan S
Jul 2017 - $20.00
The price reflects the weekly rate. This is a very basic campground. Gravel roads and spots, small playground for kids and fishing pond full of pond scum. There is a laundry room with 3 washers and 3 dryers, only one dryer worked. There is one bathroom and one shower under the laundry room. As mentioned the highway and train were very close and noisy. Other than that the campground was very quiet. The town had a break in the water main and water was out for a few hours. 2 days later a storm came through and electric was out for a few hours. Neither were their fault but we were disappointed in the lack of communication as to when the utilities would be restored or who to call. - esta34950
Nov 2016 - $27.00
Only place we could find near Vincennes. Small one loop park right next to highway and RR tracks; very noisy. Nice level pull through site. Water, electric, sewer all worked fine. Could not get on wifi. Had a tough time finding anyone in the office so we could pay but phone messages were returned promptly with instructions. We were satisfied with this park; it suited our needs. Note that the driveway to this park is directly off the highway. Our gps had us erroneously turn at the main road south of the Rv park which led to some white knuckles until we got back on track. - Janau NC
