Park is well maintained by the owner which is always on site. Close to I-70 but road noise not an issue. We had a full hook up site which was very level. The Wi-Fi and cable worked very well. Lots of trees so sat TV, not an option. The owner and staff are very friendly. We stayed for 5 days to visit family in the area. We will stay next time we are in the area. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice park quiet that was surprisingly quite being near highway, facilities and ground in great shape. Our daughter and kids stayed in one of the deluxe cabins and wow was it nice. We were centered in our lot drive and with our slide out on hook up side we were with in inches of neighbors paved patio. The only reason not a 10 was restroom and shower were hot , and not much for ventilation ( fans or AC) We camped at Richmond KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The owner was wonderful, site pretty level. Even though beside the I-70 road noise was not that bad. Cable and Wi-Fi worked well, would definitely stay here again. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Very well kept campground. We stayed in a water/electric site behind the small lake. We could still hear the traffic on I-70 but it was ok. The staff I met when we chef in and again when we left was very nice and we talked about RV travel for a good while. Will definitely stay at this campground again. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

Richmond KOA is an older park, but the owners go above and beyond in making it a great place to stay. The park is very well kept and is a delightful place for people with children (actually, we don't have children and still found it delightful). They show movies in a little outdoor theatre in the evenings, there's a pond for fishing and a nice playground for children.

This is one of the nicest KOA's we've stayed at! We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

I usually don't care for KOA because the ones we've stayed at just don't seem to be a good value for what you get which is usually tight sights and unusable wifi. This KOA is one of the two exceptions we've see. This is the 2nd best KOA that we've stayed in. We had a site escort which always starts things off right. Roads are a little tight in certain spots but nothing that is a problem. Interior roads are in good shape. We had a level, gravel site with plenty of mowed grass in between sites. They also have a nice play area for the dogs. The wifi actually worked. We will stay here again when passing through Indiana. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

A little GEM of a campground

We stayed here for two nights in August and thoroughly enjoyed the campground. When we arrived The owner escorted us to our site. The grounds are immaculate, park-like with level sites and concrete pads, table, BBQ pit, cable and wifi. The sites are at least 30 feet across, with many pull-thrus. There is a pond as well. The owners are continuously taking care of the grounds, power washing cabins, manicuring the grass, cutting down dead or low branches and keeping the bathrooms spotless.

The owners are the nicest people. The second day we stayed we asked them for things to do locally. They suggested the Levi Coffin house, which housed run away slaves from the underground railroad. They also suggested stopping at an Amish Market and an unusual toy store, Veach's Toy Station, where you will find toys that are not in your typical toy store.

Yes they are next to the interstate, though if you request a site towards the back you will barely hear the cars. I am an extremely light sleeper and had no problem.

We were sorry we had to leave, though will definitely return while traveling along I 70. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great management. Nice park with some tight spots but none that are too small. Nice pond and most sights are level. Not a big KOA fan but this park is worth another visit and a very positive review. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

Not officially open but said would put us up in an electric site for 1/2 price on phone. Upon arrival, it had been raining so they put us in one of their "patio sites" which was still very muddy at the pole to hook up electricity! Nice owners, dealing with cold weather and rain. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

The campground roads and the 1/2 mile long road headed to the campground are both in needed of care. There are potholes and the campground roads are very narrow. This is not a big rig friendly campground. The pull thru really isn't because you have to unhook the tow to be able to fit if your rig is 40 feet or longer. The plus is that the staff were very friendly and competent. We will not stay here again. Not a good value. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Motorhome.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here while visiting the area in search of antiques. Very comfortable place to stay with nice shade trees. Restrooms and showers were clean. Sewer hookup was ground level, which is nice for getting the needed drop on sewer hose. Lot was reasonably level. Only required our trusty 2"x10" under one side. Only drawbacks I would mention are weak Wi-Fi and that I-70 is so close it's very noisy. And I-70 equals big rigs 24-7....heard easily above the sound of our AC fan. All things considered, would definitely stay here again. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Really like the campground. Really enjoyed it. They have a nice pond for you to fish in. We did not go fishing but there was a lot other people of all ages. They had movies on Friday and Saturday night for the kids. The campground is close to interstate with road noise. Yes, it was loud at times but it did not keep us from enjoying ourselves. A nice dog park for your dog to enjoy some time off leash. Gravel road to and around the campground was well taken care of. One night the campground was near full, but it wasn't noisy. The campground owners and workers are very nice. The campground is out in the country but still close to restaurants, grocery stores and attractions. If you get a chance go north to Fountain City and go to the Fountain Acres Food store. Ran by Amish. The baked goods are good. Stop by and get a sandwich from the deli. One sandwich fed me and my husband. We live about a 30 minute drive and we will be back again soon. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Our site was mostly level and we were able to set up easily with plenty of room. The entrance road is long and was in need of re-grading or re-paving, take it slow and easy and should have no problem. There was a playground, pool, pond with paddle-boats, and even a dog play area. The store/office and bathrooms were well maintained. This park served as a good overnight stop for us. We camped at Richmond KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
