The park has a Christmas Theme and is not big rig friendly. All sites are narrow back in accessible through narrow tree covered roads. The park supports the adjacent amusement theme park. Internet was good. Couldn't deploy satellite due to trees. Nice camp stores. Lots of "park rangers" to help back you back in. This is a large park that almost mandates renting golf carts (and they rent them). That said, there is more of a "feel" of camping in the woods. The park is clean and well managed. Kids would love this place. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here on a Saturday before July 4th. Our site was trashy and there were remnants from sewer. We called the check in booth, told them about the nasty site and asked them if they can give us a different site. They were very accommodating and gave us a couple of options but not much better than what we initially had. We settled for a different site. Granted it was a holiday and busy weekend, Lake Rudolph management should have been on top of this.

It's convenient if you're visiting Holiday World but $71 a night is pricey for what you get. They used to offer Good Sam's discount but not anymore. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is our 3rd and last visit. Rental king park model camper. Had to wait 1.5 hrs after check-in, as they had not prepped our rental. Trailer was full of ants, had to keep ALL food items in the fridge. Floor in master bath near shower was rotting out. Sagged if you stepped on it. Had a bad thunderstorm, roof leaked flooded floor in master bath and also at the other end of the camper near the kitchen. Disapointing to say the least! We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park was very nice, host for the most part , nice. The park was very crowded, as there is plenty to do within the park. The camper was roomy, but had a slight lean. So you felt a little off level. It was not as clean as I would have expected. I would have stayed until Monday, however I was told there was no vacancies. On line registration, had openings Friday, Saturday. And then openings on Monday. But not Sunday. I thought that odd. All golf carts were gone so that was not even an option as they advertise. When making reservations, insure you have a golf cart, if you plan to travel around the rv park. Less frustrations. The shop that offers pizza was a nightmare on Friday night. No organization for purchase and pickup. I felt like I was in a herd of cattle waiting to be fed. As a non-golf cart driving visitor, had to drive the car to places within the park. What a mess! They cater to golf carts, so parking for cars is very limited. If they are going to be that way, maybe they should make sure to have enough golf carts for everyone. Rv a/c was ok but temp was not correct with thermostat settings Stats were falling off walls. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very crowded, golf carts racing through the grounds. The lack of wash room maintenance really showed. Pool nice but very crowded. Very small water slide area for $9 per person, not worth it. Shuttle to Holiday World is good. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is an amazing resort and I would have given it five stars except our site was terrible. I've never complained about a site before but I did about this one. The manager was nice and refunded one night but the site was very un-level, covered with poison ivy and had a scrub tree right where the door opened. If we stay here again I would opt for one of the premium sites but they are more expensive. The campground has a lot to do for kids and a lot of rental RV's and cabins. They rent golf carts and decorate them with lights and such and parade around the park. So ask about the level of the site. Do not stay on Pine Street. If your into the golf cart, reserve ahead of time. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We camped in one of their "super 30" sites. Super equals a concrete pad. It was almost level, but not quite. The trees surrounding and across the road made backing the trailer in a bit of a challenge. Once in, everything was fine. During our stay we did have a thunder storm with nearby lightning that caused my surge suppressor to disconnect our electric connection. It did its job. Nothing was damaged. We stayed here years ago in one of their rental RVs and had a great time. This trip we took our own RV. We had a back-in site that was fairly narrow but workable. There seems to be a mass of folks checking in or checking out at the same time. Unfortunately we did not receive all the information or communication we needed at check-in and had some questions throughout our stay. The amenities are great - our four kids swam at the pools, played golf and met many new friends at the campground. Of course we took a day and went to holiday world. Our friends came over one night and shared a dinner with us. The campground graciously let them come in and park near us with no charges or extra requirements. This place is very family friendly. There are several shuttle stops that take you directly to and from the amusement park. The campground is huge. We had to keep our map with us at all times because you can get lost. Our only complaints are that we feel the campground is a little expensive and can be loud. Since you are adjacent to the Holiday World Amusement park you can hear the rides and screams of riders from open to close. This park fills fast. We had to take our third choice of dates due to it being so booked. I wish they would add more camping spots deeper into the woods. It appears as though they are adding more of their own RV spots which now look like trailers from the local trailer park. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for four nights for a special event at Holiday World. It is the perfect location if you are headed to the amusement park, it is an easy walk or a quick shuttle bus ride.

Overall it is not a bad campground, it has several areas that are very spread out, which is why I guess they rent so many golf carts. While their facilities are generally good, I found that bath houses were in somewhat poor shape, and while mostly clean, there were times during our stay when they were worse than others.

The staff was very friendly, and the shuttle drivers were excellent. They even ran late shuttles to support the event we were going to. We also spoke with the manager at length and he seems genuinely concerned about us having a good stay.

Our site was a premium concrete pad next to the lake, but it was not remotely level, with an incline towards the lake. We also plugged in to find the power had a bad ground. Maintenance was out very quickly to fix it, but he could not find the problem so he simply flipped the 20 and 30 amp lines. Not a problem for our small trailer, but could be for larger units. Sites were close together but easy to find, though there are a few tight turns. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This park has everything a family could want, from a water park, pool, miniature golf, playground, paddle boats, etc. The setting is serene with lots of shade and lots of room to walk. That being said, the management should be ashamed at the amount of litter all over the park. It detracts from the potential beauty of the place. We were given one of the poorest sites in the place, right near the activity center. I went to ask for another, and was given my choice of many empty sites. We chose a more private one that was very difficult to back into, but once in and level, was a nice site with no neighbors. They rent golf carts, which are a real nuisance especially on the weekends, with many kids driving them. If you go weekends in the fall, be prepared for Halloween mania. I'm told they are full much of the summer, and if all the golf carts are rented, it must be wild. Once the weekend crowd left, things were very pleasant so we opted to stay for another day. We would come back but only during the week in the off season. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed 3 nights to see the area & 1 night to wait out a storm.

The park is an easy 8 miles from Interstate 64 (Exit 63) along a good state highway (SR-162).

The park has several nice features but they were closed for the season. Some folks received an escort to their site. We did not.

The interior roads are paved. Some of them were narrow with tight turns & steep grades. The site parking pads were concrete, paved, or gravel. This is another park that doesn't understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level parking pad! There are a limited number of sites that appeared level. Those with a pitch had a single or double pitch. There is not much privacy between the sites as the sites are close to each other. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50 amp), and sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. There was an outside table and fire pit.

There is an extensive tree canopy which almost restricts satellite reception. Fortunately, we asked for an received a site with satellite access. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.

The provided WiFi was adequate. Our NET10 phone reception was acceptable.

No designated fenced pet area but there was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads as long as you don't mind walking up steep hills. There were bag dispensers and cans to collect waste.

For being in a hazardous/severe weather area, there was no underground storm shelter. No structure was identified as a severe weather shelter.

Would not want to be here when the park is full. Probably would not stay here again if we returned to visit the area attractions. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed here in our 33' trailer, and overall the stay was very pleasant. The primary purpose was to use this while we went to Holiday World. Check-in was easy. The staff very friendly. The park outlay was very nice with well paved roads. Many "permanent" rental sites but those sites were well maintained. Backing into our site was easy with no issues. The site itself was so so. Being very close to one of the camp stores ensured we had a steady stream of traffic to include the rentable golf carts from from the campground, which we did get. But I have to say between this stay and our last stay at a TT in TN I am beginning to have a disdain for golf carts. The ones here even though electric, they provide charging stations, had this annoying beeeeeeeeppppp when placed into reverse. You heard this sound throughout the night even after quiet hours. Very distracting. The camp store was very well maintained but for the one item we did need, paper plates, they were out and not expected to get any for a day or two. The big draw is its proximity to Holiday World Amusement Park and the free shuttle which takes you right to the front of the park. The campground has a nice water park but it costs extra, I believe. I am torn between recommending this park for anything more than a place to stay for Holiday World. I do not think it offers much more than that. But we were satisfied and would stay here again for the same reason. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Golf carts, skip them unless using water park in the campground. Find site away from intersections and especially adjacent to one of the camp stores. Double check price as I don't think they applied our Good Sam discount.

Yes its close to Holiday World otherwise we wouldn't stay there. Park is fine but the staff isn't very friendly and we had a terrible time making reservations. If you actually talk with a person since nothing is ever available online and then if after waiting on hold for ever they don't send you to a mailbox its over priced in my opinion. Next time we will be staying at the state park instead. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Staff was top notch friendly and helpful. New bathhouse by pool is as nice as any seen. Impressed that even campground pool fully staffed by lifeguards. Sites were pretty tight getting in and out and would be VERY tight if area had been full. Love shuttle to Holiday World. Although area is remote, there is Dollar General, hardware store and grocery right outside main gate but nothing else for 20+ miles. Enjoyed our stay. We chose this campground for the pull-through site as we would be late and did not want to unhook the toad. Check-in was easy but we had no escort or directions to the site. Roads are narrow and not well lit or marked after dark. Might be fine in daylight, but took almost 30 minutes to get on the site. Bathrooms were nice, park seemed to be nice if you were going to the amusement park. Would never recommend for a stopover. Very pricey for coming in late and leaving early with no assistance. Would be very tight for large rigs. We would not return. We camped at Lake Rudolph Campground & RV Resort in a Motorhome.
