With cable TV this park would be a 10. Beautiful, clean, large spaces with picnic table at each site. We chose a back-in and so had a small grassy yard backed up to an Amish farm where Clydesdales grazed. It is very quiet. Laundry is reasonably priced and showers pristine clean. Even pull-through spaces had a strip of grass so don't be put off by descriptions as a gravel parking lot. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very well kept park. Gravel pads with lots of grass. The sites are long and fairly wide. The staff was knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. About 1/2 mile for the flea market. We would diffidently return. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice campground and great location for visiting the Shipshewana area. The park is clean and well kept. Plenty of room between sites. The roads and pads are gravel. All the utilities worked well. The free Wi-Fi signal was strong but very slow. Strong Verizon signal and 4G on our Hot Spot. The bath house was spotless. The laundry has 4 washer and 4 dryers; however, 1 dryer was out of order. The laundry was very clean, reasonable, and even had a large screen TV. We would stay here again on future travel to this area. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a clean, well-kept campground that is well located to access all of the activities and attractions of Shipshewana. The sites are gravel and level, the spacing and grass are quite good, there and some small trees between the pull through sites. There are several pavilions and good green spaces. We enjoyed our stay and would come again. However, campers should note that this is not a self contained facility...the activities are in the town. So the park has no playground, no pool, no store, to propane refill. It does have a nice dog walk and it is next to a farm with beautiful horses and an electric fence. The flea market is less than a mile away and probably faster to walk to than to drive on a Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are coming to Shipsewana and want to be close to town in a relatively quiet campground, this is your best choice. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Very clean and well maintained park. Most of the lots are pull-thru and are big rig friendly, there are some back-in sites around the edge of the park. The sites are level well packed gravel with grass between them and a picnic table. They average at least 20' of grass between the gravel pads. We liked the park and area so well we stayed an extra two days. Wifi is not the fastest, but Verizon has an excellent signal here and the park is satellite friendly. We stayed here for a week while attending our manufacturer's annual Rally. The first thing we noted is the Manager and her staff are simply wonderful, right from check-in. No request was too much bother for them. Internal roads and sites are gravel, with roads easily navigated by big rigs and the sites reasonably level. Services are well located and good quality. They have a few trees between sites, but nothing to impede satellite reception. Excellent dog areas, with one being a long grass lawn where I could actually run our GSD. Facilities also excellent with a covered area with tables in addition to a building. We were the smaller rally so in the evening they let us block off one of the roads and set up tables and a fire ring. They even have a RV & truck wash station at the entrance. Only downside is it is a dry county, so stock up with refreshments before arrival. We will definitely return. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Easy access to and in the park with our larger RV. Woman who checked us in couldn't have been nicer. Well kept park but the price is steep given no pool and it's basically a full hookup gravel parking lot. Like others have noted, park nearly empty but we were surrounded by a convoy of traveling Canadians. They were courteous and polite but we felt out of place in the middle of their group. A space or two in between would have been welcome. I would stay here again, but next time in the area will probably look for someplace priced more in relation to the facilities provided. On the whole, this is a pretty good campground but we had a site in an unfortunate location, right next to the picnic shelter. The folks who were attending an RV rally had no idea how to respect other people's sites. They kept walking through our site and others between the pavilion and their trailers. The park should inform rallies they shouldn't invade other people's sites. The park wifi was worthless. The location was excellent, Verizon internet and phone good. We had good Dish RV reception. Nice park in the middle of town, but also quite expensive for what you get. A gravel site very close to your neighbor on both sides. It does have free Wi-Fi, but we did not get fast service on that. Sites 17 and 18 have a bit of an incline so keep that in mind if you want a level site, we were there during a rally so we had to take what they had left. The park is big rig friendly, the utilities worked well. The cons: the workers on golf carts fly through the graveled roads kicking up quite a bit of dust, but were very friendly and helpful. Not much green space for such a wonderful area. That said, if you just want a place to park to tour the area, this is the best ticket in town in our opinion. We would stay here again if in the area. Nice facility easy access and close to all the shopping in Shipshewana. Lots of Amish buggies passing. First stay here. Not associated with the North campground any more. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We enjoyed most things about this campground in beautiful Shipshewana. Great location, good voltage, good water pressure, friendly office staff, and long pull-thru sites. Wifi was unusable for us so we had to use data during our entire stay. Now for the negative. The old lawnmower guy needs to chill. Mowing the same areas every other day does nothing for the grass or peacefulness of the campground. When not mowing, he'd ride around the park just looking at things. The mower could be heard all over the campground and really destroyed this otherwise peaceful setting. My rating of "6" comes from unusable wifi but mostly because of mower man. Not sure we'd stay here again. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Sites were very level, gravel. People were very friendly and helpful. Bath house need to be updated but were clean and neat. Showers were large but the only thing they had was a water valve that is preset so you cannot adjust the temperature. The temperature was about 102 degrees. You had to keep pushing to keep the water on. It went off every 10 seconds. I talked to the office they said parts were on order to get them to adjust longer. I would stay there again. Nice looking park and very affordable. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.Undo
