We stayed here for 3 nights. We were passing through and needed a place to stay for a few days. It was a cheap place with Passport America. The park staff is nice, the seasonal residents are very friendly. The highway noise was loud day and night! The place was very active on the weekend but quiet times were observed. WiFi was very good. TV antenna reception was good. The transient sites were out in an open field with a little lake. No picnic table or fire ring. We would stay here again if passing through the area because it was cheap and the park was easy to navigate. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
The closest town with stores/restaurants was 20 minutes away.

This campground is for homesteaders. Front of campground is a lot to be desired. Filled with dilapidated travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes which have been built on to. Once you drive through the wooded area you come to an open field that has no shade, and homesteaders have taken over the spaces by the woods and pond. Transients have the middle strip to set up and hope the cramped site is large enough for your slide outs. Homesteaders have full run of this park, rules only apply to transient guests. No picnic table, no fire ring (took one from an empty site). The bathhouse is absolutely filthy, with rotted floors. Have to have water filters due to horrible water. DO NOT use the washers, ruined an entire load of white clothes to their rusty water. Only 30 amp service, no picnic tables or fire rings. Have some activities in weekends but if you're not one of the homesteaders you're really not welcomed. This campground is almost like it's own little compound, you're welcome to come for a night or two, but that's it. A woman sits on her deck at the front of the campground and waves to everyone but refuses to acknowledge you when she's riding through the campground on her golf cart. They do accept Passport America and Good Sam. The price would have been o.k. until I lost $75 worth of white clothes due to their rusty water! I wouldn't recommend this campground to anyone. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.

I only rated it an 8 because they only have 30amp This is a Passport America Pk where we stayed overnight for $15.52 with tax. It's not a bad park, decent gravel sites with nicely cut grass, 30A, FHU, good WIFI, clean friendly park friendly staff. The park does have a lot of permanent sites in front section that you need to go through to get to the back where the 20 long pullthru sites are. The permanent section with lots of trees is like in most parks in the Midwest where they have a lot of people that leave their trailers here all summer or yr around & come for weekends etc during summer months. That area looked ok, clean. The row in the back for overnight & short term has only a few trees. Sites are long & decent width, fine for big rigs with slides, they are only 30A but are FHU clean grass was cut, no problem leveling out. We were on site #1 which was easy to level an end site. Out my front window I can see part of a small nice clean lake that had boat rentals also. Past the lake I can see the main road but don't hear it once inside. Don't know about the bathhouse as we always use our own. I was actually surprised that this is a nice park as the other day when I was looking for a place for tonight & on the some of the recent reviews didn't sound good can't figure out what they had to complain about it is a decent place for overnight or even a few nights & we would stay here again if in the area. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.

This is mainly a camp of permanent residents, with a row of spots for transients. The permanent resident part of the camp is sort of a shantytown. The transient spots are very close together, but all pull-through, and very long and straight. My site was not level side to side. The transient area is a big open field with no shade, several hundred yards off the interstate. The only good thing about that was the TV, Wi-Fi and cell signals are very strong. In fact, this park had the best Wi-Fi of any park I've been to recently, and its available throughout the campground. The noise from the highway is relentless, but somewhat muted except at night. The common areas are all dilapidated and dirty. The customer service was friendly and efficient. The water is vile and undrinkable. Not the greatest place, but reasonable value for an overnight with quick access on and off the freeway. Careful on entering the campground - you have to make a 180 turn right away. It's not that difficult, but it's not obvious and easy to drive by if you're not paying attention. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
I wouldn't recommend staying more than a night at this CG, but if you can't avoid it and are looking for something to do, there is a very nice Wright Brothers museum about ten miles down the road, across the interstate.

We came into the campground for three days and have just extended to another 3. We read the reviews and almost didn't stop. This is a case where we would have missed a wonderful campground and a great site, by reading reviews from unhappy campers. When you come in you do pass by the permanent residents, but then you come to a beautiful clearing and this is where we short-time, or overnight parkers stay. We have a great space, Number 1, but any space would be good. The owner was delightful and tried to please everyone. The WIFI worked and we had excellent satellite reception. It cost only 15.00$ a night with PPA. We stepped out onto nice grass and the Highway was not a problem. It is close but didn't bother us at all. They have installed 3 new dryers. They didn't even charge more for the holiday weekend. We will definitely stay here again.
Thanks Don, and all of your staff. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.
Very nice small towns close by and only 15 minutes to a Walmart. The office will help with any questions. There are not site picnic tables, but for us this was not a problem.

This is the second time we have stayed at this park. It is very close to the interstate and really ideal for an overnight stay. It is probably 80 to 90% permanent residents but the sites are clean and well maintained. These sites are mostly wooded, while the transient sites are out in the open. The roads and pull-thru sites are gravel but level with convenient hookups. These sites were a little narrow; we had no problem getting our slides out but doubt if we would have had room for the awning. The staff is friendly and helpful. We didn't use the restrooms but I did look in and they seemed fine. There is a nice lake for fishing. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Only 30 amp service is available; this makes it tough for a large Motorcoach to use A/C, etc. The bathrooms are in very poor condition and the laundry room had no working dryers.
It is OK for an overnight stop, but I would not suggest longer stays. The I-70 noise is not very bad at all, but the number of run-down permanent campers, 30 amp service only, and poor bathrooms makes this an unacceptable RV park for us.
We probably would not stay here again. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.
Not far from the Wilbur Wright Museum.

We're back again. All drives were freshly graveled and graded. All hook ups were functioning well. Still just 30 amp. Road noise is still very noticeable since I-70 just across the pond. There 19 pull through campsites for transients. Many sites are taken by permanent rvs, which are mostly in a dense woods on the way back to the overnight camping area. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We did not camp here, but drove through to check it out. 90% are permanent run down old junky campers with cluttered yards. You have to drive through these to get to where they put overnighters. I think the excellent reviews were paid to write on here. We wouldn't stay here. Too run down for us. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate given for Passport America members. Power was fine, but limited to 30 amp. Water is a bit rusty since it is well water, but we filter (3) our water anyway. Office and staff very out-going and helpful. Individual shower/restrooms are older, but very serviceable and clean during our visit. There is some noise off I-70, which is just across the pond from the parking area. This is a seasonal wooded campground with many older travel trailers, some in disrepair. The short-term pull-through campsites are at the rear of the property in an open area close to the pond, bathhouse and propane station. The campground Wi-Fi worked well during our visit. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Main roads paved, site roads gravel. Only 20 traveler sites but all long, wide and level pull thru with room to park car or toad and FHU. No tables or fire ring, large fishing pond and kids playground. All traveler sites have no trees for good satellite signal. Park well maintained. Strong password protected WiFi signal, antenna TV available but no cable. Easy access to/from freeway but close so some noise. 5 miles to small town. Nice large grass areas. Social events on weekends. Would definitely stay there again. Rate is Passport, also accepts Good Sam. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We've stayed here before and it's easy on and off I-70 yet the highway noise doesn't seem loud. The area to walk the dog is great. Staff was nice and friendly upon check-in. Laundry wasn't so great as only 1 dryer with 2 washers, but it did run for 60 mins. We would stay here again. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

OMG...Avoid this place! The rate is Passport America. The office only accepts cash or check no credit cards. Filled out paper work and was escorted to our site having to go thru the getto of permanently parked trailers. Got to an open field with pull thru sites right next to interstate. My husband was connecting the hose to fill the tank and several gentlemen on their golf cart yelled out - don't drink the water. Its non potable and will make you deathly ill. My husband smelled it and put a few drops on his tongue and had a bad taste. Went to the office ice for a refund and the older gentleman was rude and said who asked who told us about the water! Said we could buy water for drinking...no use would we stay there. Would not recommend nor return. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Seasonal campground with about 20 pull through sites for transients. 30 amp full hookup sites, with sewer hookups elevated about 8-10", so sewer line cradle is a must for easy waste water flow. Transient parking is in an open area with easy satellite access. Tight 180 degree turn at entrance, so hug right side of the county road for easy access. We camped at New Lisbon Family Campground in a Motorhome.
