We stayed here one night. The park is very nice and has lots of options. We were in a site with full hookups, no fire pit. The sites are close together and gravel. The premium sites are very nice with a large concrete pad, table & chairs with umbrella, a swing, and charcoal barbecue grill. There are nice cabins and seems like lots of things for the kids to do. The pool was closed. They have a small restaurant that serves breakfast and supper. We ate breakfast the morning we left. The food was OK. It was a bit greasy for my liking. Like most KOAs, this was a bit pricey, but if you wanted something nice in the area, you don't get many choices. Luckily our GPS gave us the same directions as the ones the park sent us. However leaving, it wanted us to make a U-turn before getting on I-70 when there was a ramp straight to I-70. Of course we chose not to follow the GPS directions. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Older KOA park that is well-maintained. Excellent staff made stay a very positive experience. Staff was helpful in giving directions to sites downtown - Clabber Girl and Candles Holocaust museums. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

Wow, what an amazing campground! We stayed for July 4th Weekend and our site was fantastic! We had reserved a deluxe full hookup site complete with a concrete pad, patio, fancy fire pit (not generic ring), wooden swing, and a very nice patio set of chairs and table. Little touches like a flower box made from patio blocks really drove home for me the attention to landscaping details. The office had everything you could ask for and the staff were all super helpful. Plus if you bring the map of the campground back into the office, they'll serve you cookies, which for my two little ones what a big plus. They also have an area inside the office for DVD rentals with a decent selection. It was the first time I'd seen a campground offer such a great option. The pool was in good condition and wasn't saturated with debris like some other campground pools. There was cable hookup with around 26-27 channels which is something I've noticed not a lot of campgrounds offer For campers like me who have little kids, there were some decent options for entertainment. They had petting zoo with 2 donkeys that you could feed, a wagon/train ride through the campground at 6:30, and pedal kart racing. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Our site had a concrete pad and patio. A swing, table, and chairs were also on the patio. The Campground gets a lot of interstate stopovers so you can meet a lot of friendly travelers. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

You have a choice of many sites. From a EW only to beautiful full concrete slabs for parking with a huge patio, built in fire pit, and a swing. It is really a nice park. It has some drainage issue here and there, but were not a real issue. I would consider this for a longer stay. Lots of pretty trees and shade. Our site was one down from the top sites. we had a gravel pad, pavers with a table, four chairs and a nice umbrella. A bench too. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

We only used the park for an overnight. The staff was helpful when checking in and also escorted us to our site. We stayed in one of the upgraded sites with the concrete pad, fire pit, table / chairs and umbrella along with a swing. The grounds were clean and well kept. We did the pool and that was clean as well. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

Due to Interstate and local hwy construction it was a bit confusing getting into the CG, but we made it. Clean CG. Very shady to the exclusion of using satellite dish. Had cable but for some reason I couldn't get it going, but enough local OTA channels. Sites are level gravel, with a few with concrete patios and nice furniture. Roads are gravel and for the most part easy to navigate. We have a 45'+toad. Our site was a concrete pad, private end site 41. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner, clean sites. Their rates are scaled to the amenities on your site. The highest rate gives you cement pad and patio with chairs, table and firepit. It's hard to get to because of road construction but worth it. It's a children's paradise as well. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Terre Haute KOA greets you with a smile and helpful suggestions from the Camp Host. This park has a lot of things for the kids to do: a go-cart track, basketball mini-court, games, playground, animals, swimming pool, and a western themed camp town. For adults there are some very nice common areas; large, covered campfire ring with porch swings, an outside camp kitchen, and an onsite cafe. The laundry was very clean and the 4 washers looked fairly new. However, only 2 of the 4 dryers worked and those took forever to dry our laundry. This park had ample space between gravel sites which were fairly level and the roads were nice and wide. Our picnic table was sitting in a hole of sorts, so it would have been in a mud-hole if it rained. When booking for this park, you need to ask for directions because our GPS could not find the park. There is a lot of construction going on and perhaps some new roads have not been updated into the GPS systems. We were not the only ones to have trouble finding the park. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

KOA parks are always expensive, but this was ridiculous... location and lack of other park options probably contributed to the exorbitant rate. The spaces were close, and we were in a site where the water hookup was on the DOOR side of the RV so I had to run the hose under the RV to hook up. Other utilities were on the proper side. Roads were tight but navigable... tag axle vehicles might have a problem getting to some sites. Cable was adequate but reception was fuzzy on some stations. Location and lack of options probably contributed to the exorbitant rate. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park! It looked like they have lots of activities for children. The park is nicely landscaped and kept. Our site was level and easy in and out with a 40-foot coach towing. We had a beautiful site with a large patio, patio table, bench, and fire ring. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

Before I start the review please note: There is a major road construction in progress in the area. DO NOT FOLLOW OR RELY ON YOUR GPS!

What follows are the correct directions to the park as of Sunday, May 14, 2016: From EB or WB I-70 take exit 11 which is State Rt 46. Go SOUTH on SR 46 for 1.1-miles (as measured with my odometer). Turn left. This is Tucker Road although it is NOT marked as such. You will see orange road construction signs that have KOA and directional arrows on them. Tucker Road looks like a frontage road to SR 46. You will now be going back north on Tucker. After about 1/2 mile you'll come to a stop sign. This is Moyer Road. You should see another small sign pointing straight ahead to the KOA. Keep going straight on Tucker. After another 1/2 mile you'll enter a curve to the right and see an Indiana DOT facility on your right. Keep going straight..no turns. When you pass the DOT yard you're now on Sony Drive (again, no street signs). The KOA is at the end of Sony Drive. Remember, no turns....keep going straight.

If you make a reservation the KOA staff will email directions to you. As I noted the directions I provided are accurate as of 5/15/16 and it didn't look to me like the project was moving forward with any kind of speed. KOA staff mentioned that the entire project was due to be complete 4-YEARS AGO!

As for the park itself...very nice. Mostly shaded (satellite users will have difficulty getting a signal. We were in site 2 and were able to lock onto 2 of 3 satellites. Level gravel pads with grass "patios". Interior roads are easily navigable in big rigs (we have 40' MH plus Jeep SUV...60' overall). Park is clean and laid out nicely. We checked in with Robin who was extremely helpful. Park has a small café with usual fare AND 24-flavors of soft serve ice cream. All sites are 30/50-amp, good water pressure and cable TV at most sites. Small dog run. We would stay here again. We camped at Terre Haute KOA in a Motorhome.

Wifi works well. Nice dog walk area but they had a lot of rain the day & night before our arrival and the park was very wet. Staff are very friendly and escort you to your site. Has a nice café that offers breakfast & supper. There is major highway construction on I-70 and it's a bit tricky finding the road to the park. Do NOT follow your GPS.
