There are only 4 - 50amp/ sites in the fairgrounds camping area, two are easy to level up on, the two others, one must park across the campsite to level the RV since there is a major up slope from front to back. The circuit boxes for all power receptacles are cartridge type fuses not circuit breakers. - Teacher's Pet
Jun 2016 - $28.00
There are a couple dozen designated campsites at the fairgrounds, with more electric hookups in the midway area. Several sites up on "the hill" are used by seasonal renters. We have been coming here for 4 or 5 years to visit my wife's family, as it is close and it has 4, 50/30/20 amp with water sites, all others are 30/20 amp with water. A city park close by on a lake which has many sites, but they are too close together for us. There is a drop box for late arrivals, with rates posted, to the west of the fairgrounds office. - Teacher's Pet
Oct 2015 - $27.00
We have stayed here several times when visiting family in the area. Facilities have good water and power, dump station is at the top of a hill. Location is on Winona Lake and usually very quiet. The number of sites can vary with activities going on, since some hookups are on the Midway. - Teacher's Pet

Someone was on our site when we arrived and no one in the office was available to help us remedy the situation. Thankfully, the tent was moved so we could set up. The sites are not clearly marked so we weren't even sure where our site was supposed to be. The wooden picnic table was covered in moss, the wood corroding (it didn't look safe to sit on), dirt/mud all around the table with mosquitos/spider webs everywhere making it unusable. The website says there are no showers. The campground map shows "Toilets", with a symbol that generally represents "restrooms". But they are pit toilets. The beach was closed but we weren't told that when we called to make a reservation. We never saw any place to rent boats, as described on the website. The website describes the campground as "upscale". It's not. There are mostly seasonal campers and not all sites are well cared for. The playground area is outdated. - PapandGigi
Apr 2015 - $24.00
Staff in the office took very good care of us during check in and any questions we had as to places in the area to go. Lake was beautiful to wake up to in the morning! Fire ring needed cleaned out, we were unable to keep a fire going due to it being 3/4 full and wet. Wi-Fi was $6.95/night and worked very well for us. - dallas 66

Just a phone call secured a full hook-up site on a Saturday might. Easy friendly check in. Managers friendly, helpful and pleased with their park that they manage for Warsaw City. Nice level spot, good hookups, view of quiet lake with a welcome breeze. Beautiful, well marked trail with signs explaining wetlands. A good hwy 30 stop through Indiana. - USA16RVer
Aug 2015 - $30.00
Stayed at Pike Lake on two separate occasions, this is a older city park campground in the process of up grades. We like it because its clean,
very quiet , play grounds, and beach close keeps the grand kids busy. Great city nature walking/bike trails one behind campground Sites are narrow , if you have slides on both sides you will be against your neighbor. some sites the sewer hook up will be under your unit. As previous post Dave the campground host is very helpful . - Steph and Jim
Aug 2015 - $30.00
We stayed here a month, as it was close to some places we had to be while there. When you first get there, the park host (Dave) will show you your site, offer to help you set it up, and anything you need he will do what he can to make it easier on you. Each site has a firepit, and picnic table. We had a fantastic view of the lake out our back & side windows. The beach is only a minute walk away, boat ramp (we didn't use), is also right there. The park is very quiet, super clean, and alot of nice people stay there as a seasonal. The internet is ok depending on if any coaches are in the lots next to the office--which block the signal. The few short times that happened, I just walked over to the pavilian to use it. That was the only inconvenience I had while there. We chose to be in the open instead of shaded areas so our rv wouldn't get dirty from staying there for so long. There are different types of sites to choose from while there, depending on the openings of them. When you leave, the hosts will come say goodbye, and they really do make you feel at home. More campgrounds need hosts like this! We would definitely go back again! - happy2013camper

The site we were on had a nice view of the lake. It was very quiet, but you can hear the traffic on the highway. We would stay there again. - geode
Aug 2012 - $32.00
Yes, the roads leading into it are narrow but we felt it was worth it. We only stayed 1 night but enjoyed it very much. The lake is beautiful, we found the full hookup site for coach with 2 slides ample. Met some great neighbors. We will go back if in the area. Negative is they don't offer a military discount. - Winchester
Aug 2009 - $25.00
Very nice campground, especially if you stay near the lake; which has only water and electric sites. Dump station located by the showers. There are a lot of "permanent" trailers and it is a bit crowded by the full hook-up sites. The roads around the park are quite narrow and this might be a concern for larger RV's. The only real negative was that there are 3 pig farms in the area and if the wind is in the wrong direction one cannot stand to be in the outside air. It was nice when we got there and in the morning, but incredibly "stinky" in the evening. The attendant told me that doesn't happen much. - Rick Lechner

Aug 2014 - $25.00
Rate is reflective of monthly stay. Really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was very friendly. Lots of activities for the children. Park was nice and quiet even though it is huge. Most of park is for permanent/ full time residents, but they do have sites for weekenders/overnighters/monthly. Sites are fairly spacious for this size of park. I would recommend bringing or renting a golf cart because depending on where you are placed in the park, it can be quite a ways away from the activities/beach/pool etc. We would definitely camp here again. - Luvbugz
Jun 2011 - $42.00
Sometimes things just start off wrong and never get back on track. When we checked in we were a little put off by the lack of cable TV and free WiFi for the price we paid. The power was so far back in the site that we could not hook up without renting an extension cord from the park. The park is well maintained but getting old and it shows. This seems to have all types of family entertainment. When we checked out we did not get as much of our deposit back as we were told. We would stay here again, only if we could not find something better in the area. - sferrill
May 2009 - $60.00
The campground's facilities were nice (e.g., pool, store, putt putt, playground); however, this is definitely not the campground for weekend campers. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and the "overnight" sites were on high traffic routes that were very, very busy with golf cart traffic all at all hours of the day. The campground was more akin to a permanant manufactured home park than a campground. We will not be visiting this campground again. - jpohlcat

Would rate higher if sites were not grass and there was more gravel on the roads. We were there after the heavy rains of spring 2015. Management was very cooperative and the connecting lakes were great for fishing. They are small enough that skiing would be difficult, but Lake Wawasee is close by county roads.
Lake Wawasee has no private campgrounds so this works well for that. Good family campground. - mcguyvered

Great Campground with a family friendly atmosphere. Our family has stayed here many times. Super friendly owners who are constantly making improvements to facility. Lots of shade. Great fishing for Blue Gill/Crappie/Bass. Boat access to lake. Beach area. Sewage dump station. Trails in and around for hiking/biking/golf carts. Lots of Wildlife. Usually has weekend entertainment during summer. Golf course nearby. 20 minutes to Wabash, 25 to Warsaw. Located just west of State Road 15. - Ed Adams

Jun 2017 - $35.00
The campground is a big one with lots of leased sites plus plenty of room for travelers, rallies, etc. Most all the sites are on grass and many are "rally field" types of sites with full hookups. Most of the sites are level. Generally, with campers scattered around the place feels roomy. Over this mid-June weekend, though, the place filled up and we had people at close quarters all around us. The campground has pretty decent WiFi that worked fine for us until the weekend when it was overloaded. Even the local Verizon cell tower was impacted and I had a usable but slower data stream. The shower rooms/bathrooms in our area were usable but very dated. The property has a swimming pond that got lots of use by the kids. A new pool is being built and will be in use by next year or even sooner. The campground has a nice mini-golf and driving range available for an extra charge. This is not only Amish country, but is also RV country. The Numar factory and other RV industry related businesses are just a few minutes away in nearby Nappanee. We liked Pla-Mor and would return for a future visit. - nazpaz
Jun 2017 - $30.00
This is a very neat large park. Although the don't take any discounts, their rates are very reasonable. We had a FHU 30 amp site for $30 (50 amp is just a couple $$ more). There is a swimming pond, fishing pond, golf driving range, mini golf range & playground. Word is, that they are breaking ground for a new pool sometime during the week of June 4th & it should be completed in about 12 weeks. The office/store/rec room/snack bar are all in one building. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. We had stayed 2 nights & were in the area for some RV repairs and needed to return to the park after learning that a major part needed to be painted first. When I went back to the office, there was no problem. Staff just said go back to our original spot and settle up after we find out when to return to the repair facility. That is real friendly customer orientated service. We usually try to stick to our discounted parks such as Coast to Coast, Thousand Trails, Passport America etc. but, would NOT hesitate returning to this park if/whenever we are in the area again. - rracer5
May 2017 - $35.00
We have stayed here twice and it is always a great experience. We stay in the back section because of our rig size. There are a few concrete pads but most of the sites are on firm grass very large with oom for motorhomes and vehicles. There is no cable but adaquate over the air TV. No problem hitting satellite. One of the best features of the park is the restaraunt. Great burgers and ice cream at reasonable prices. The owners are as nice and friendly as you will find. - HolyMackrelAndy

Really hard to find a campground open in winter with hookups and easily accessible. We are so happy we found this! Bought a new trailer and used this campground to get all tested and set up, excellent find! Grounds are huge, convenient to stores like Walmart and Menards for errands, close to food and restaurants, couldn't ask for better. Easy to find on our GPS, staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean! - DaCrazyCatLady
Mar 2018 - $25.00
Campground was not easy to locate using our GPS. It is outside of town, which is common for Fair Grounds. Unfortunately is 20-30 minutes from the Interstate. As other reviews mentioned, there are a lot of trains working 24/7 and although you can tune them out, can be heard. Staff was very nice and friendly. We had our choice of sites. Perhaps a dozen other campers. Water and sewer is available throughout the year even though we opted for just electric. The Wifi is good and stable to use. The showers and restrooms are nice and clean. The sites are back in, but you can pull through open sites if you are careful. The website states Cable TV, but is meant to sat TV channels easily available with antenna. We were able to get all major networks and several other channels with good signal and clear picture. - 17Glamping
Sep 2017 - $30.00
There are numerous camping sites at the fairgrounds. Our first site that bordered CR 34 was not level, front wheels off ground, and small sites. RV parked almost door to door. We changed to another camping area on the north side of the fairgrounds. Not a good idea either. Just on the other side of the trees bordering the fairgrounds are three heavily used rail road tracks. I lost count after 40 trains passed next to use the first night. Very loud. So much for the negative... Fairgrounds have very good free WiFi throughout the fairgrounds. We were there when nothing was going on so camping was very empty. The campground WiFi performance: Ping 12ms, 4.35Mbps download and 4.80Mbps upload. Water pressure 60 psi. 50 amp service: no load leg 1 - 123v, leg 2 - 122v. Under load 119v and 118v. Sites are level and most roads leading to the camping areas are paved. Overall rating of 5 because of the amount of trains passing at night and how loud the trains were. - Rufas

Aug 2015 - $28.00
Let me start off by saying these were very nice people but nice did outweigh the trashy park this was. Grass was not mowed which led to so many bugs that we couldn't even sit outside. The hookups were hidden behind tall tall grass. The bathrooms were atrocious. Just think of the worst bathroom you've ever been in and double that. We paid for 2 nights but stayed 1 & went back home next day. I'm not sure how they can possibly call this "resort" camping. Lake of the Woods was across the street so with a LOT of money this place could be nice. Would never come back. - Tami Strz
Aug 2013 - $28.00
Our kids and us camped here in a MH and 2 TT's. This is over 90% perm sites and most of what is on their website is not available. We booked FHU's and paid for them only to find all we had was EW and sewer service was available. There is a beach on a nice lake. Bathroom/showers were in a shed and was filthy. A toilet was missing, paper all over and garbage in the showers. No designated fire rings, so sites were a mess. Some tender loving care and this would be nice. - cfamrace49
