We spent one night here while visiting the Amana Colonies. We were met with a very friendly and helpful staff during check-in. They lead us to our site and helped us get lined up with our utilities. The park was clean, quiet, and there was plenty of space between sites. We would stay here again. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

My husband and I stayed here 3 different times in October 2014. We used Passport America for the first 2 nights. Very nice campground and wonderful people in the office. Very close to Cedar Rapids for any shopping. If looking for a church while here we suggest the Calvary Baptist church in Cedar Rapids. The pastor is terrific and the congregation is very friendly. Best to call ahead because they have many groups that meet here through the year. We highly recommend this campground. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This rate reflects Passport America. Nothing special about this campground, just a big open field with hookups. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Can't beat this place. Have used it twice this year for over night stops. Easy in and out. Friendly helpful staff. Water, power, bath facilities were good as usual. What can I say, it's a great place to visit, also. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed five nights for Telephone Pioneer Family Campers International Rally. Facilities were great for Rally. When we arrived they were having a dog show . Park big enough to not be bothered by barking dogs. Staff was friendly . Park close to historic Amana Colonies. Great restaurants and wineries in town of Amana. Sewer and electric hookups are not set up the greatest; this is why park not rated higher. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

The daily rate reflects the ‘rally rate’. It is not really a question of if you will stay here, but when. The Amana Colonies are an amazing place to visit and the Amana RV park is the only place to stay. It is a very very large grassy area with gravel roads separating the park into sections based on hookups types. The roads were in terrible shape. When it is dry, cars and trucks kick up an enormous amount of dust. When wet, the roads are a bunch of little lakes, where water collects in all of the potholes and the sides of the roads are muddy. The gravel sites are nice and long and level; set up as either a very long site or two long sites back to back, so you end up with 4 rigs all sharing a single cluster of utility posts and faucets. Each site does however have a sewer connection at the rear on the drivers side. Even with a 41’ fifth wheel and 23’ tow vehicle, we still had lots of room in our site. The staff is very friendly and we were escorted to our site. Water pressure was good, although it did fluctuate at times. The electricity was a good voltage and steady. ATT and Verizon signal strengths were terrible. The park wifi is very good, lots of access points and connection speed. There is so much to see and eat in Amana, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and chocolate shops, but for good grocery shopping, need to drive the 20 miles to Coralville for a Costco, Wal-mart or Hy-Vee’s. The Visitor’s Center in downtown Amana offers 3 hour long driving tours daily and sometimes twice a day. The drivers are knowledgeable about the history of the 7 villages and the colonists. If passing through this area, we will definitely stay here again. The roads were the main reason for the rating, otherwise it would be have a 10. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is huge! It is all gravel/dirt with a lot of grass. Access roads are a bit bumpy but going slow they are fine. The sites are very long and very wide. Interestingly, many of the sites are pull-through but only if you are the first one in the site. If you are the second rig you will have to back in. Hookups for the rigs are directly behind the rigs and are shared with your neighbor. The couple of days we were there they had a dog show. There were about 1200 dogs somewhere in this park. Since it is such a huge park and wide open we had no problem with barking dogs. Only problem is that there were thousands of little chip monk type animals. Our dogs went crazy when they were out for a walk! The park is located far from anything or everything! But we loved it and certainly would stay here again. The nearest town is about 3 miles from park. If you are looking for a place to "get away" from things then this is the park for you. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The rate of $18 quoted reflects the Passport America rate. The limit for PA is two nights and I chose that option. As mentioned before the roads are terribly dusty throughout the park. There is also a lot of Potholes, both leading into the park and all throughout the place. The power and water pedestals are not positioned correctly and the sewer inlet pipe was sticking about a foot and a half out of the ground. Both my electric cord and water hose were stretched to their limit in order to hook up my rig. There is nothing to do in the park as far as pools, play areas, and relaxation areas. The normal rate in this park is $36. I would not stay here again. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

The day before we arrived, I had my motorhome and tow vehicle washed. It was a hot sunny day when we arrived and the man that led us to our site left us in a cloud of dust. By the time we got to our site, the motorhome and tow vehicle were coated with thick dust. It rained the first night and the dust coating became a swirl of dirt. Every time a vehicle or their golf cart went by our site, we would eat dust. It's a shame because the park has great hookups, good Internet, etc. But until they do something about their interior roads, we won't be back. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used our Passport membership for a great discount. Wonderful campground, very flat, in the midst of a corn field. Easy access to Amana Colonies. Very friendly management. Great for larger RV's as all appear to be pull through spaces. Would stay here again for sure. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Passport America price for first two nights. Park is open and flat, with ultra-long pull-through sites. Only drawback for us is the DUST! The roads give up a storm cloud of talcum-powder dust no matter how slow you go. Location out in the Iowa farm country is really nice, and we plan to explore the Amana colonies for a few days. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate was Passport America discount. Sites were gravel, level and easy to get into. They had a laundry room, it was clean. The playground was centrally located and shaded. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

My rating says it all. Very large RV park; hosts went out of their way to accommodate our MH/Trailer combination so I could have access to my classic car in the trailer. Centrally located in the middle of the Amana Colonies. Used Passport America for two nights. Would stay here again. Excellent. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rate reflect week stay with one night free. Easy access, great friendly check-in. Escort to site. Long pull-through. Big flat grassy field, small trees. Wi-Fi, utilities worked great. Fantastic 4th of July fireworks. The colonies are a great place to visit, plan on spending as much time as you can here. This is the second time here and we will be back. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.
