Stayed here for a rally on Octoberfest weekend. Park built in the old style with one pedestal cluster serving four rigs with sewer drop separate and straight in parking with no angle so you will drive over the grass. Be aware as you may need long water and shore power hoses. The park worked well for the rally and visiting the colonies. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The place was packed with a dog show on site. The wi-fi was great even with a full campground. The lay out is strange with four RVs served by a center hookup. If campers drive fast it gets dusty, but if people drive slowly it's fine. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We paid the Passport America rate of $38.52 for 2 nights. Value and location are both very good. This is a large RV park and the site setup is not the best. Most of the 50 amp FHU sites are double ended pull thru sites and 4 sites share 1 electric / water shore connection. So they will be somewhat behind the RV. In the 50 amp area, all outlets are 50 amp outlets. The sewer for all 4 sites is on the correct side of the site. But the electric / water hookups will be on the wrong side for 2 of the 4 sites. PLUS, these sites will not have much of a curbside, just the neighbors sewer hose and shore connections. Pass the Grey Poupon please. The sites with the utilities on the correct side have a very large curbside and are very nice sites. Especially if the near site is empty. We had about 80' of grass on the curbside and less than 10' on the hookup side. If you are towing and do not want to unhook, you will need very long water hoses and power cords. OTA TV was fair, ABC and Fox were the only networks. The wifi was very good during our stay. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Electric is good. Sewer is good but the connection is 4/6" above ground causing poor empting of the black tank. Water about 45psi. Wi-Fi is provided by Tengo. I didn't use it. Verizon cell is good and Verizon data is good. No Cable. Sites long but back to back. The bad part is that they have the shore facilities in one area for four RV's. This puts two RV's close to the off door side of the RV. Can't put awning out and if one dumps sewer it is on the door side of the two RVs. The other two RV's have a very large open area on their door side. Roads are white gravel and have many rough spots and pot holes. Didn't use restrooms or laundry. DirecTV Satellite is accessible in most places. Payment can be made with credit card. I would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Part of a rally group. Excellent facilities. Very nice grass with very long gravel sites. Site entry /exit impossible without getting into grass which was pretty soft in places. Free WiFi worked ok most of the time but a hassle to log on (Tengonet). Great rally facility or stop-over park. Sites are rear to rear and side to side with large spaces between pairs of sites resulting in some having very small "yards" outside the entry door. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were here with a large group (166) of campers, mostly motorhomes. Don't know what capacity is but there was still room for more. Agree with other posters comments except about wifi. We were right under a modem so it was not a problem except having to log on each time you want to use it. Staff was very helpful. Will stay here again. We're were early arrivals and were able to pull through rather than back in. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice place- I called ahead and made a reservation because it was getting toward closing time. They had everything ready for us and even offered to leave everything on the door in case we wanted to stop and eat. But we made it. They took us to the site to be sure it was ok. Nice area, we didn't have much time in the morning to explore the Colonies shops but we did eat breakfast at the Ox Yoke Inn and it was very good. Would stay here again. Check-in was easy and we were led to our site. This is a buddy park. There is one electric/water pedestal shared by 4 RV's, but you have your own sewer connection. If you get there first, you can pull through; otherwise, you back in. The sites are very long and mostly level. All sites are north/south facing and there is adequate space between sites. We were in front row with lots of grass and cornfields in front of us. There weren't trees (I can't remember for sure) so the satellite is excellent. This is an event park so sometimes it is quite full. Make a reservation if it is important to you. The weekends we were there was a woodworking festival and a large dog show. Both were free. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park in the middle of a corn field! Since I'm a farm boy I felt right at home. Extremely large pull through sites and a lot of them. The park can accommodate any size rig. When you are in Amana be sure to hit the local German restaurants! We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate averaged for our stay including PA discount. Nice quiet park with some quirky hookups. Sites are long but designed for 2 rigs end to end. If you get to the site first, you can pull thru. If not, you back in. If the first rig is not forward enough, your connections may not reach the pedestal and you'll have to ask for another site. Getting another site is usually not a problem since this place is so big and has so many sites. 4 rigs can connect to the same power and water pedestal. Your water and power connection may be on the passenger side of the coach. All utilities are at the rear of the site. Water pressure and volume were good. Roads are gravel. No fenced dog area. I walked my dog up and down all the roads and it took me a little more than 30 min. Wifi worked well for email and Facebook. Antenna picked up several stations. When you turn off Rt 151 onto C St, get ready for a LOT of porpoising. The concrete road surface is fine, but the slabs are VERY uneven. At least it is only a 1/4 mile to the park entrance. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Campground host was very friendly and we were escorted to our site. Although the park wasn't even close to half full, many sites were reserved due to a rally. We were given a site where we backed in and shared a buddy pedestal with the folks behind us who were already parked. Their toad trailer overlapped into our space which normally we wouldn't mind. But it affected our ability to get close to the buddy pedestal. Our hookups were on the wrong (passenger) side and our electric cord and water hose *barely* reached. To add to the frustration, despite being in a gravel "pull thru", the site was very muddy from recent rains. A real mess. Lastly because of the split hookups, using the sewer dump at the site was impractical and we used the dump station on the way out of the park (which was convenient and easy).

There were many sites still empty the next morning and we don't understand why we couldn't have been assigned a more practical site for our 42' motor home. But we were told this was the only site available.

On the plus side, the rate through Passport America was very good at $19.

This is our 2nd time visiting the Amana Colonies and our first stay in their RV park. Because of the impractical buddy hookups and the mud, we would not stay here again. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Motorhome.

As said before, basically a large field with long sites back to back, but they try to use them as pull thru if not busy as was the case while we were here. The hook ups all good, no cable but ok over the air signal. Staff very friendly and helpful. We joked about a site with shade but she did face us so the afternoon sun was behind us to enjoy sitting out under the shade of our awning. We camped at Amana Colonies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
