A very nice park. It's nice that some of the waterfront sites are reservable and others are first come, first served. Being a state park I thought the sites would be larger, but they were big enough. Not especially level, but workable. Gnats were terrible while we were there, but might just have been because of all the rain. There's a swimming beach too. We would go back. We camped at Lake Darling State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Full hookups or none. It was a quiet place, that will most likely fill up on the weekend. We stayed one night during the week. Some sites are reserve able. We camped at Lake Darling State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We reserved site #94 and liked that we were able to pull in forward to put our awning side toward a nice view of the pond with no neighbor on that side. We didn't like that site #93 was extremely close to us and there was only one electric post for our site and site #93 with one 20 amp and one 30 amp plug. Both sites were supposed to have 30 amp but the ranger we talked to said they just came up short somehow but that it had never been a problem as far as he knew. We were lucky that our neighbors in site #93 were OK with 20 amp so we didn't have a problem either but there could be if two rigs both needed 30 amp. The park is fairly hilly but the gravel pad in our site created a level (but narrow) area, the site had very nice shade, we have a 30 ft class A. There are some sites right on the lake but they looked very cramped and crowded the weekend we were there. Bathhouses were a little run down and didn't look very clean but the showers had enough hot water and decent spray. We stayed here to go to the Old Threshers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant about 30 miles away. We loved the Old Thresher event. We camped at Lake Darling State Park in a Motorhome.
