We stopped here one night. Very nice park, neatly maintained, nice big sites, very friendly staff. There is a lot for kids to do here as well. The park was not crowded at all due to the time of year. I highly recommend this park. Great WiFi as well. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for a week so got a reduced rate plus a Good Sam discount. Lots of space between sites and it was a quiet area even though it's not far from the Interstate highway. Wifi was fairly good. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

We did an overnight here and were very happy we picked this location. We will be staying on the way back through in a couple of weeks. The lots are very spacious and level. Tons of room for our 5th wheel toy hauler. Had plenty of room to open the back deck and pull the Harley out with our canopy if we wanted. Met some nice people as well and looking forward to our stay on the way back home. Definitely recommend. The con would be their pond it is full of moss and would be a really nice fishing pond if they could get the moss cleared up. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We loved it here! Very quiet and very family friendly. It was hot and the splash park for the little one came in handy! The staff was amazing and we can't wait to come back! We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This park has the largest RV lots of any park I have ever seen, even when the park was full, it did not seem full, because everything is so spaced out. Lots of things for kids to do (even through we did not have any). Restrooms were clean. Right off highway, but noise was not bad because of the hill blocking it. Only bad thing was a gravel road close by, where people fly down, and dust the whole campground, was first time camping I wished for rain (and it did which settled the dust) Not much in the area to do. Owners could learn a little better customer service, felt like we were bothering them. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great place to stay for an overnight or to relax for a couple of days. Laundry was immaculate. Spoke with the owner and the pride in her campground really shows. Tips for other Campers:

Not much to do in the area....as it is surrounded by corn fields and no large city. But it is really quiet....would stay here again. It is under new ownership so hopefully they will keep up the excellent atmosphere.

Beautiful campground settled in the country side surrounded by corn fields. Close to the interstate, but traffic noise was not an issue. Very clean park, friendly staff. Loved the yard art work scattered throughout the campground. Site's water connection was at the back end of the site so we had to break out the extra water hose. Not a problem, just different from most campgrounds. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Urbana is on I80 and the town doesn't have much to offer besides a Casey's store/gas station, but this RV park is a welcomed oasis. Of the 60 RV sites, almost all are pull through and very roomy, 40' of nice lawn between the gravel sites. Twenty-nine offer full hook ups for just $32 with GS discount. The new owners could not be any nicer or more helpful. There are various play areas for kids, a splash area and a pond. The trees are mostly small but someday... As for road noise, it is near I80 and you can hear it but it's not a problem for us. There are large common areas and play equipment. The campground also has a small store with some essentials. By the way, there is wifi but no cable...ABC, CBS, NBC and a few others stations are available over the air. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are looking for fine dining and entertainment and are not willing to drive ten plus miles, this place might be a bit isolated for you. But if you want a meticulously maintained and fairly priced campground, you'll be happy you came here.

This was one of the nicest campground that we have visited. They have huge, spacious lots with lots of grassy areas. Trees are more for landscaping than shade. Very nice and clean restrooms. The park is very kid oriented - really a lot of activities for children - i.e. splash pads, rides, trampoline, sand boxes, miniature golf, etc. None of the activities are fancy or elaborate, but all are free and should be great for ages 3 to 10. We are retired and did not stop here for the children's activities, but enjoyed the park none-the-less. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

The new owners are very nice but somewhat disorganized. It took a few minutes to find our reservation even though we had called about an hour before. At check in, no information was supplied about the park such as WII FI code, trash location, activities, bath facilities etc. If I hadn't picked up a brochure I wouldn't have gotten one. When I asked later for the WII FI code the response was "I hope it's still up". Um, not the answer you want to hear. And it wasn't up and never was. It's a rather attractive campground surrounded mainly by cornfields. The only ding is one side of the park faces an automobile graveyard, and it's an eyesore. There are lots of recreational activities for kids and adults including a small fishing pond. This is a pretty large campground and the majority of sites are tiered due to the hilly terrain. Most of the sites are very long. Several have a pad built up in the middle so these wouldn't work for longer rigs. The Sleepy Hollow area has some absolutely huge sites. We only saw a couple of sites that could be called level. There is decent spacing between sites. In fact, some had quite large lawn areas. There are no shade trees. We were escorted to our site, and for ease of entry, were directed through another site. We actually are not sure how we would have entered the site without going through another site. Our site was very unlevel side to side although front to back was ok. We settled with almost level but we saw others using blocks. It was plenty long enough to handle the motorhome and car with room to spare; however, it was a bit narrow. The sites are gravel and prone to ruts from storms. The interior roads are gravel and dirt and you will get dirty. Watch out for the disguised speed bumps as they are the same gravel as the road and are hard to see. Directv satellite worked fine as did Verizon. It's pretty quiet for the most part although you will hear some traffic noise from Hwy 380. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of our favorite RV parks. The previous owners recently sold the park but were still helping in the transition. They developed the park and were some of the best people we have met in our travels. Hope the new owners continue that tradition. We have been here several times and will come back. A hidden gem, this park is conveniently located just off of I-380, yet it is surprisingly isolated. Sites are gravel pull thru with beautiful large grassy areas, fire pit & a picnic table. Quiet during the week with lots of families on the weekends. Splash pad, mini golf, fishing/paddleboat pond, playground, frisbee golf. Owners/Office staff were welcoming. Hookups all worked. A 20 min. drive Cedar Rapids, there is a Dollar Store in Urbana & a grocery store in Center Point. Check out Jonesy's in Center Point for a great Iowa tenderlion. We camped at Lazy Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.
