Estimated rate (can't remember). Basically a parking lot with power available. Sites 1-26 are along the west side. All had mowed grass behind them and then a little marshy area with taller grasses. We had good 50amp service. The lower the site number, the quieter (farther from the freeway). Sites 27+ are along the freeway, so nosier. There were only a few RV so spacing and privacy was very good. No internet. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We had stayed here before and were scheduled to stay here while visiting my wife's family in Omaha. Even though the sites are back-in on a paved lot with no wifi or sewer at the site, we opted to stay here because it is close to family and there are not many other choices in the Omaha area. However, when we checked in we were told that there is a $50 per night property deposit, returnable 5-7 days after departure, in addition to the camping fee. The deposit was instituted after someone backed over a pole and cost the campground $1500 according to the security guard who checks you in. Since we were planning to stay about 15 days, the deposit would have added a $750 charge to our credit card in addition to the already high $600 ($40 per day) camping fee. Even the guard said he would not stay there because of it. So we left and luckily found another park. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is shown on Goodsam Travel as "Bluffs Run RV Park" it is now the Horseshoe Casino. The spaces are in a cement lot with just electric and water. They have a dump station. No Wifi is available. I was mislead in believing this was a full service park. The $40 weekly and $50 on weekends is extreme considering it is not a full service park. All spaces are back in. Would not stay here again. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not quite the casino campground that I was used to. If anything I can say that it's easy in and easy out. RV spaces are are lined up around the edge of a large parking lot. Water and electric only, and a dump station. Large grassy area behind the RV's is a place to walk the pets. Look at the sites before you take any random number, as some of the sites back up to a busy road. There is a Camping World and a Bass Pro nearby for shopping. Good overnight if you are passing through to go somewhere. Don't expect any amenities unless you are into casino's. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overpriced for what You received. Concrete parking lot with electric and water. Sites so close together you could not extend awning. Poor and confusing signage to find registration area. No shuttle to and from casino. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend the place to others. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Driving down Mid-America Dr, it would take a special type of ignorance to miss the sign that says "RV Entrance". Continuing on, There is a large sign that says RV Registration. Usually the park is not that crowded and they assign every other space which provides a nice amount of space. Parking is 15 feet away instead of?!?!? RV Parking is back in. There are very few big rig places in the Omaha area. The KOA choice is a long way from town and is ok for kids and dust at $50 per nite. Most big rigs can go a few days without a sewer hookup. This is my choice in the future!! We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

RV Park at Horseshoe Casino Rate is $40.00 per night, no discounts offered. The RV Park is right on I-80 at the Iowa/Nebraska state line, highway noise not a factor. As others have stated, this is not a conventional RV Park. This is a paved parking lot with water and electric hookups around the perimeter. The sites are numbered and are narrow. There is room for slide outs but not awnings. This environment does not lend itself to outdoor living such as sitting and cooking. Passenger vehicles are parked in the parking lot, not on the camp site, however they are very close by. The electric and water pedestals are modern and easy to access, however are located on the grass about two feet behind the parking curb. Depending on your setup, extensions for both the electrical cord and water may be needed. The public washroom and shower are modern and were clean during our visit. The showers are not gender specific but are individual locked rooms off the hallway by the restrooms. Spacious and modern, it took well over a minute before the hot water was hot, then it got very hot and never ran out during my shower. There is a coin operated laundry in the same building, looked clean with several washers and driers. Check in was a challenge. The check in office is not in the casino or hotel but at the far south end of the building (to the right of the hotel) in a building marked Iowa Gaming Commission. There is a small sign on the door - RV Registration. I would first park in a site you want then walk or drive to the building to register as the parking in this section does not really lend itself to large or towed rigs. All the staff were friendly but not always knowledgeable, the few we talked to were new employees. We stayed here 2 nights. Not a bad spot for overnight parking, although a bit pricey in my opinion for services offered. Area was clean and we felt safe. We would probably stay here again despite the price for overnight. Very convenient to interstate and casino. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is located at Harrah's Horseshoe Casino.
With a 40 foot coach it was OK.
Basically just parking around the perimeter of a large paved parking lot with water and Electric at the back of each site.
Security patrolled the area regularly.
Overpriced for a Casino so we did not bother to gamble and leave any more money.
Main advantage, it's close to Omaha.... We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are VERY close together, Can't put out awnings. No picnic tables. I called ahead and was told there was WiFi. When I registered they said the WiFi was inside the casino and I could bring my computer inside.

Showers were basically in good shape but needed a deep cleaning. Wads of hair in drain, and you could tell showers hadn't been washed in weeks. Water flow was a lukewarm trickle.

Would not go back. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is located at Horseshoe Casino. As a 45 ft motorhome with 4 slides we found it comfortable, clean, friendly, safe and convenient. It is a paved parking lot; however, behind each site is lots of grass. Spaces are plenty wide, good 50 amps, security patrols the area, clean laundry. No sewer but they have a dump station. Extremely convenient to Omaha, I-80 and I-29. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rv park is ok in a pinch it is right of the interstate. Price is a little high for a parking lot with only water and sewer. They do have a dump station.

Tips for other Campers:

The casino is a good walk away and the buffet is expensive and not that good.

The casino is nice but you have to watch the dealers and unlike any other casino they charge you for a drink while you are playing the tables this is usually free.

Just a parking lot with power and water hookup. The spaces are too narrow for rigs with slides, but they only use every other space so it works. Noise from interstate was loud. No security in sketchy area. You don't get any discounts for casino or restaurant.

If you can dry camp you might be able to save $30 to $40 by staying in different parking lot. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spaces are very close together. Once slide outs are out it's difficult for people to get in and out of their campers. Awnings cannot be extended. No sewer connection. Dump station nearby. The casino security manages the campground. Billing is handled at the Harrah's casino which is approximately five miles away. The billing office will place a very large pending charge on credit cards that are used to reserve and pay for the site. This is a practice that we disputed with them. Closest campsite when going to the College World Series. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed one night over Memorial Day weekend. The price is supposed to be $30 a night but the guard said since it was Memorial Day weekend the price was $40, what a rip off! If there was anyplace else available we would have moved on. They had plenty of spots available, just your basic parking lot just off the interstate so some highway noise. We would not stop again unless extremely desperate. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was just an overnight stop for us and we'd stop again passing through. We waited 45 minutes at the check in office for an employee to get us checked in. Must have been new. Your site is on the black top parking lot with a grass verge behind you to walk your dog. It was very soggy when we were there. Restrooms and facility was very clean. The interstate traffic was rather muffled and not an annoyance. We camped at Horseshoe Casino RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
