This was our last stop before heading home from a winter trip down south. We had stayed here before but it now has a new owner who is operating it a little differently from our last experience. We had planned to thoroughly clean the holding tanks and drain the water lines in prep for final winterizing once we got home. Campground was advertised as open but water had not been turned on at the site due to pending cold weather. The restroom / shower facility was also still closed for the winter. We were able to get water to flush the tanks from a frost proof supply about 150' away. The owner also provided a motel room for us to take a shower and clean up which we greatly appreciated. The park was clean. Our site was level and plenty long for the rig and truck. Site width was decent at 40+'. 50A power was stable and the dump port convenient. Our hotspot and cell signals were very weak. There is wi-fi available but we didn't use it. OTA TV channel reception was good from Cedar Rapids. A train rolled thru around 4am on nearby tracks blowing his whistle down the line which got our attention, otherwise it was reasonably quiet. Overall, the campground is pleasant with plenty of trees and we would stop again. Just call first to check on services available if you are stopping in the shoulder seasons. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has been under new ownership since April. The new owner is nice enough, but a little clueless about RVs. He'll learn. All sites are spacious with crushed stone drives and grassy patios. While we were here new crushed stone was brought in. Good water pressure and electric. Park Wifi is weak. Solid Verizon signal for both cell phones and 4G LTE data. Easy to get to off of I-80. There is some traffic noise here, but it quiets down after 11 PM. Train tracks are 1/4 mile to the north and there seems to be two trains that come by every evening. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearest Walmart is 24 miles away in Coralville. There is a Big G Supermarket 1/2 mile away. You are about 15 minutes from the Amana Colonies. You are also about 15 minutes from the Tanger Outlet Mall in Williamsburg.

We weren't sure what to expect with a little campground/motel complex but were pleasantly surprised. It was a bit confusing to find the entrance to the campground though (see tips). They are open year around but had just turned on the water for the season earlier in the week. The park grounds are clean and well maintained. The pull thru sites are approximately 55 - 60' long and site width about 40' so there is no feeling of being crowded in. Access road and pads are gravel, patio is grass and was in good shape. Sites are fairly level in the pull thru area with a downward slope to the front. Some of the back-in sites on the east side have quite a slope. A mix of pine and deciduous trees are spaced throughout and some shade is available. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. 50A power registered 120v+ and was stable. Water pressure was good. Dump ports were conveniently placed. The bath house was older but very clean. WiFi performance was decent. We received 28 over the air channels with good reception. Inside the RV our wifi hotspot performance was so-so, as was our cell reception. There is a clear line of sight North to a set of railway tracks and periodic trains came thru. Friday night traffic on Hwy 6 and to the gas station could be heard once in a while too. All in all, we liked the campground and would come back again. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Contrary to our GPS, the campground is on the North side of Hwy 6, behind the Sudbury Court Motel. Next door to the west is a corner gas station. To get to the park entrance in the rear, follow the concrete parking lot between the motel and gas station.

Nice little Camp about 6 miles N. of the I-80. Road from fwy. to the camp was pretty crappy, but worth the drive. Just go slow, especially if you are towing. It's a Mom and Pop. Very quiet with very few rigs. There's a gas station right next door with Diesel and a convenience store there as well. Park is nicely laid out with pretty good shade trees. Our site was a pull-thru, but side to side level was a bit of a challenge. No car or truck noise, but train tracks nearby with only occasional HONK. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean! We couldn't find anything available on a Sunday night but they were there and open. Not far off I-80. No pool or playground but enough room to let the kids run around. Site was a bit off level but our levelers worked fine. Saving on our GPS for future stays. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice little park. Some of the sites were not level but did ask for a level pull through site based on prior comments from others. Ours was very nice with a few trees for a bit of shade. There is plenty of space to walk dogs as they mow the grass around the perimeter of the park. While this is a good place to stay while touring the Amana colonies, it is farther away from dining and shopping. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to be close to friends in the area. We received a small Escapees discount. About half of the sites are not very level so you may want to make sure to ask for a level site when making your reservations. We had an unlevel site and had to raise the front of our motorhome high up to get level. The parking surface is crushed limestone gravel. The utilities were adequate with the water and electric spot on. The sewer connection was about a foot and a half off the ground, which would have been much better at ground level. There are nice trees in the park for some shading. We had a picnic table in our space. We would stay here again when visiting our friends in the area. This is a very nice little park. The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. We had to move our site because of satellite interference due to trees, and they did everything they could to accommodate us. Nothing fancy but very clean, and the courtesy and friendliness were outstanding. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice little RV park, but maybe not quite as perfect as earlier reviewers would indicate. The park is clean and well maintained. Just a few issues. I did not receive the Wi-Fi on my laptop. Verizon signal was 5 bars, so we used that. Close to the train tracks. Not too many trains, but very noisy when there are. The exit road has a steep, short rise getting out of the park. We would have drug our landing gear on this. Fortunately, the park was almost empty and we were able to use one of the other pull-through sites for our exit road. We would stay again if we were in the area. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

10 out of 10, no question. You won't find bells and whistles here, no spa, no pool, no game room. You will find a friendly, likable owner and a clean, clean place, all at a more than reasonable cost. The owner could easily charge another $10 a night, simply based on supply and demand. The restrooms were so clean they might have been brand new: not a speck of dust or splashed water or sign of use anywhere. I actually hated to mess it up. Also, the wi-fi is strong and reliable. While you're in Marengo, make sure you have breakfast at the Doose Cafe, right on the town square. Tell them the Winnebago people sent you. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice small basic RV park behind a small old style motel. The utilities were up to par and our stay here was good. The owner led us to our site and visited with us to make sure everything was okay. The Wi-Fi was good and our Verizon signal was good as well. The gravel entrance into the park was pretty dusty, but it was only a short distance to our site. It was easy for us to get level. We would stay here again in the future. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent RV park that is off the beaten path. Very quiet and friendly family owners. I stayed here 3 nights at the Escapee rate. I will stop here again in the future. Road access from I 80 is very good using route V66. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

A nice, family run, campground and motel in the middle of nowhere. The kids came by to see if we needed anything after we got set up. We stayed here two nights and visited the Amana Villages and the Maytag Dairy operation from here. Spaces are level and open with young trees starting to provide shade. Access off of US 6 is easy, although poorly marked. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Owners were very nice and helpful. I would stay there again. We camped at Sudbury Court Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.
