The main road is blacktop, the camp area roads and campsites are gravel. Our site required 3" of blocks to level the trailer side to side. Other sites varied from level to very steeply sloped. The shower house is new and clean. Tent campsites were close to the road, and were filled with tents and people. The RV sites were barely half filled when we stopped on a Thursday night. Stopping for the night, we did not wish to unhitch. From campground #4, it is a long 30 minute walk to and back from the registration area. Good Verizon phone and MiFi connections. We will return. We camped at Arrrowhead Park in a Travel Trailer.

This review is for campground 1, the closest to the entrance. This is a clean, quiet campground. Pull-through sites are long, narrow, near-level crushed rock, separated by wide grass strips, with little shade. One electric pedestal is about midway between each pair of sites, so getting the electric cable to reach can be awkward. Back-in sites are grass, not level, shady. Roads in the park are wide asphalt in good condition. Roads in the campground are narrow crushed rock, in fair condition, with one low tree limb. Registration is self registration, cash only. Campers do not have to pay the $2 park entrance fee. There is a dump. Verizon 3G data service download speed (kB/s): max 162, typical 60. We camped at Arrrowhead Park in a Motorhome.

Arrowhead park is convenient to Interstate 80, a short drive from the exit, with easy on and off access. The camping area is part of a larger municipal park, with many recreational facilities. Poor interior signage. Campgrounds are located at the rear-most part of the park. Long back-in sites are largely not level, and some slope to the rear of the site, making leveling for motorhomes challenging. Some sites on our visit were muddy, with poor aprons and large ruts. Water hydrants are scattered throughout the camping area, so it is not necessary to fill your water tank at the sanitary station. Most electrical pedestals serve multiple sites, and ours had insect nests inside it. Overall, a fair overnight stop, and could be so much more with some much needed maintenance. We camped at Arrrowhead Park in a Motorhome.

Great public park one mile away from the highway. Easy to get to, quiet, peaceful, clean. Long back ins. Small lake to fish or just walk around. Great place to stay over night or for a couple of nights. The drawback is only electric, but the price is good. We stayed a couple of nights and loved it. Would stay here again. We camped at Arrrowhead Park in a Travel Trailer.
