We stayed at this campground on Labor day weekend, there were many issues. First off we called on Wednesday to get an additional site and were told that they were full. LIES! 5 empty spots. The activity board said that there was going to be things for my children to do all weekend. LIES! Canceled. Then to top it off I am in the bathroom and I hear the new owner yelling at her worker about how she needs to clean and sanitize the bathroom while she is out playing in the golf tournament. She just totally belittled this poor girl! I have camped many a holiday weekends at this campground and this was by far the worst! BRING BACK THE OLD OWNERS! My kids used to have so much fun, they were so excited last year when the fire truck showed up with the stuffed animals. This used to be a fun FAMILY campground, now I'm not sure I will be back. The campsites are very flat, gravel back ins, 50 amp full hook up sites. Not much shade is available in the overnight spots and each site has maybe 10 ft of grass in between sites. This campground has mini golf, volleyball, tetherball, train rides, shuffleboard, swimming beach, canoe, and disc golf all free of charge for guests. - EMSPOST911

The park is very well maintained. Very clean and quite campground. There is swimming in the lake and the beach area is very nice. We needed packages delivered during our stay and they were very kind and accepted them for us. Great antenna TV and the WIFI is acceptable.. Laundry room very clean. I would very much recommend this campground Pet friendly and the owner, Joyce, was extremely nice and very professional. - Angelia

We spent a week at Lake Shore RV Resort. The lots are gravel, fairly level and relatively wide and the grass surrounding the lots is lovely. One of the reasons we chose this campground is that they have full-service camping.
The landscaped grounds are lovely and the resort is located on a lake. Although we Floridians did not swim in the chilly lake, there is a beach/swim area with a slide, and there are canoes and kayaks available for camper use as well.
There many different outdoor activities available including mini golf and 4 disc golf baskets. We have two larger dogs, and there is plenty of room to walk the dogs. At night there is very little light pollution, and the stars are very beautiful.
We are having a great time at Lake Shore RV Resort and highly recommend it to others. - User3725
