So, THEORETICALLY, a couple (if both are registered) could stay here for FREE an unlimited number of days. We played a bit in the casino and enjoyed the Buffet as well. We will definitely return next time we pass through. - Todd and Heather
Aug 2018 - $1.00
How can anybody not give this park 10 stars. It's clean, FREE, and has water and electric. Did I mention it's FREE? They also have two pools and two hot tubs that you can use. Just show your receipt at the desk of the hotel and they will give you a pass. The buffet is small but the food is very good. They have a deal at the buffet. Dinner is about $17 but, for $25, you can eat all day. The RV park is just a parking lot, with running water and 50 amp electric service. Do I have to remind you that it's FREE?! - sflabrkr
Jun 2018 - $1.00
One thing to understand about this place: It is in 3 states and the casino is in Oklahoma. There are 2 RV parks with water and electric. One is close to the Casino and in Oklahoma and also shares the lot with over the road trucks. It has water and 20, 30, 50 amp power. I don't know if they have a dump station. The other is across the street from the "O" Store in Missouri next to the round about (east side of the road). This park has the most RV sites with water and electric. It is a fully paved concrete lot with zero shade. They have a dump station on the way out here. No showers or bathrooms available. Roads paved and easy. Sites: Note the 1st 4 rows are steeply graded for water flow and our coach wouldn't level without blocks. We drove up the grade for a couple of rows and had no problems. Power 20/30/50 amp with water. Grab your site first, then go to the Casino and get your Q cards, go loose some money and then check in at the Q Store. We got 2 night free for our two Q cards. You can leave and return 24 hrs later and stay another 2 nights. They have free internet that's pretty fast. Verizon phone and Mifi work well. This is one of the best camping deals I've run across. We'll stay here again if we're in the area. - pumper9x9
May 2014 - $10.00
This park was very nice to stay in while we worked to help the Red Cross using our motorhome as a base during the tornado restoration work that we did. Each pedestal at each site has a 30 amp as well as a 50 amp hookup, with good electricity and has good water pressure also available. In addition, there is a dump station in the park as well. Virtually every site is fully shaded, with parking on asphalt large enough to place all wheels of a 40' motor-home off the grass. As instructed we called the Police Department for permission to stay and the Lady there suggested that we might prefer to come to the Police station to avoid any potential hassle with regards to paying. We understood that the Police are busy, however we regularly saw them patrolling the road alongside the park, but we knew that we should pay the $10 nightly fee, and so we took her suggestion. Our stay there was uneventful, peaceful, and we would stay there again. - jmorgan54
Mar 2014 - $10.00
No facilities at this park just porta potties. Took moving three times to find a plug-in that worked. Very kid friendly has a huge park with playground. You have to go by the police department to get the permit they wouldn't come out for us so best to stop on the way by. - G_Escape
Aug 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here while driving Route 66. Campers need to contact the Baxter Springs Police Department for a permit to camp. Even though we called the police department, no one ever came to collect the fee. A dump station is available. There are both back-in and pull-thru sites. Grass was long but it had been rainy for a few weeks. We were able to wash our rig and tow car at our site. We would stay here again. - thetravelkids
Oct 2018 - $43.00
Nice clean well run park. The section we stayed in was level with large trees well spaced around. There are also spots that are in the open (for satellite). Our site included cable that worked well. - Dave Hole
Apr 2018 - $45.00
Stayed here overnight on migration north as we are snowbirds. This park is a typical KOA, with gravel, but level, pull thru sites with some grass and weeds between sites. Convenient on and off the freeway and would stay here again in the future. We did not unhook the 5er and FHU all worked as it should. - Mn snowbird
Mar 2018 - $47.00
Only stayed overnight. Level gravel site with FHU. Cable was good, but wifi did not work properly. I did not use the showers or laundry. I thought it was odd that is KOA did not have a recycling center. Plenty of shopping areas within a couple of miles. - G W
Apr 2015 - $20.00
This is a clean park with traffic noise and train noise.
Sites are wide, near-level grass and gravel, in various lengths. A few have shade or picnic tables. Voltage is good.
Roads are gravel in very good condition.
Verizon LTE works well.
There are strong terrestrial broadcast signals from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS.
No rest rooms, showers, WiFi, cable, laundry, or credit cards. - wjzcbn
Aug 2010 - $18.00
Very nice and quite private campground. They have full hookups. Would recommend. - timenazi
Oct 2018 - $30.00
The only reason I won't give this park a 10 is there are no trees for shade. We did not need it since it was cold and rainy the two days we stayed. The sites are very level and large. Would love to stay there when we could take advantage of the pool and large fire pit area. Everything is newly remodeled and looks fantastic. I have never seen a laundry and shower area that was as clean as this one was every time we used it. 3 cheers for the management she was super nice and helpful. - True Texas
Oct 2018 - $20.00
Our second stay at this park. Owner is very nice. Spots are gravel, but generally pretty level. Look closely and you'll find amenities most parks don't have at this price point: swimming pool, tennis court, spacious and spotless bathhouse/laundry. Even if you don't use it, it's worth a look - the concrete floor is a work of art with colors swirled throughout. Wifi is weak. One caution: If you arrive after dark like we did, be careful when walking pets. what looks like an interior park road leading to the highway is actually a well-traveled road. Walking pets on it could be extremely dangerous. Two large fire rings suitable for group bonfires are a nice touch. - Dobiedaddy
Oct 2018 - $20.00
This is what an RV park should be. Spacious, uncluttered, easy access, good rates. Very efficient check-in by owner and her 3 (?) year old helper! Very long space with ideally situated utilities. Plenty of room from neighbors. I might move here if it was in Texas! - Bossgreen
Sep 2011 - $9.00
RV parking is across the street from the Casino main parking lot. The area is constantly patrolled by security & the patrol will take you across to the Casino Gift Shop to register and return. Shuttles run back and forth to the Casino day and night. About half the sites are pull-through and utilities are at the back of the site. The sites are paved and level. There are no restrooms, showers or laundry on site. The Casino offers a 2 for 1 breakfast coupon at check in. The rate is $9 first night and free for the next two. The overflow parking lot is used by tour buses and semi's. BNSF RR is 200 feet away and there is rail traffic 24/7. We had no problem sleeping and didn't hear the trains during the night. The Casino & RV lot is within the Eastern Shawnee Nation in the NE corner of the state of Oklahoma, abutting Seneca, Missouri. We noticed no odor from the treatment facility just to the west of the Casino. This is a good place to stop for a day or a few and we would stop here again if in the area. - SilverBear
Jun 2011 - $9.00
Others have addressed the cost and the train. Most of the time, there are plenty of open spots and it is possible to pull through rather than back in. Regarding the sewage treatment plant, when the wind comes from the west, you will get a very unpleasant whiff. Also, the cost goes to $9 on your 4th night, then $15 starting on the 8th night. This is a terrific stopover for a couple nights. Be sure to try out Country Cupboard restaurant for breakfast in Seneca. The casino also offers a good $3 breakfast. - thearys
Apr 2011 - $9.00
Yep, there are trains and they only shook our motorhome slightly. Rate is $9 first night, next 2 nights free. All hookups are at rear of sites in campground, which is a fully paved parking lot. Your RV must be fully self-contained, since no facilities are on site. Buy one, get one dinner coupon with paid first night's rent. $10 casino cash for first time visitors when joining Player's Club. - Teacher's Pet
Oct 2016 - $15.00
This is a very nice RV Park which adjoins the Indigo Sky Casino. The sites are all "back- in." Water and electric only with a dump station on the property. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the peace and quiet in the park. The casino has all the amenities you could ask for. Wonderful food and the office staff are very helpful. - Herb Richards
Sep 2016 - $15.00
This park is often listed as Seneca. MO. It is West of there, a few hundred yards into Oklahoma and is part of the Eastern Shawnee Nation. The adjoining casino is the "Indigo Sky Casino".
This seems to be a very successful enterprise, it is jaw dropping beautiful with fountains and statuary and flower gardens. The grounds are neat and clean and always being maintained.
The hotel is very big and grand with Southwest themed decorations and much to see. There is a restaurant that features a different buffet every night. The food is good! Also a food court. There is an outdoor pool which you can use as an RV guest.
All that said the RV park has some shortcomings, but remember it is $15.00 a night. All sites are water and electric only and these utilities were conveniently placed and very good. Everything is back-in, even the dump station is back-in.
There is an office in the RV park but it is not always manned. Pick a spot and go up to the hotel to register. Very easy, very friendly.
There are 45 sites most, not all, are merely painted lines on an asphalt parking lot. All are numbered and well designed and each backs up to its utilities, but if you want grass on either side of your unit drive around and check for the few that have lawns designed around them. We did.
There are no fire rings or picnic tables at the sites, but there is a huge redwood picnic pavilion with tables and three stone fire places and grills.
The RV park is meticulously clean and groomed, a security vehicle with its green flashing light goes through about every 15mins. The flowers, other shrubbery and lawns are expertly done, but the trees are all young. Shade will be here in a few years. The bathrooms and showers were all clean and well monitored. There is no cable, but all major channels are available OTA.
Wi-Fi is at the Hotel but not in the park. This is a very good casino RV park. The restaurants were great; we never gambled. - Jack B
Mar 2016 - $15.00
Stayed one night at the campground. Very new campground that is owned by the Indigo Sky Casino. Hook ups and water looked new. Would stay here again. - depguy
Aug 2018 - $30.00
Meticulously kept. Laundry and bath/shower facilities locked with code. Very hands on and friendly. Quiet. Playground outdated for those with kids. Have a dog run. Cute grounds. - Fiffyluv
Sep 2017 - $23.00
Overnight stop. Convenient location. Small, clean park. Probably should have reservations since there are some live-aboards. Excellent, friendly service from host. Small laundromat. We would stay here again in our fifth wheel passing through. - ouachita princess
Oct 2015 - $18.00
Very nice clean and friendly camp host. We had a battery problem and he jumped us plus checked on us later to make sure everything was ok. The gravel pull thru are rather level and there is a grass area. There is no cable tv but our direct tv worked very well. Wi-fi is very good. It is easily accessible to I49. We were here for 2 nights in a 44 ft motorhome. - oniedu
Nov 2018 - $29.00
Park is neat as a pin. We stay in the bottom/north section which is great for big rigs and satellite use. Roads are paved and sites are crushed stone. Wi-Fi is free and very good. It is near Interstate 49 but it is very quiet. It does have a storm shelter and the hosts are well trained in getting people into it when the need arises. All in all a great park. - peddy dick
Oct 2018 - $32.00
The park is easy to access and maneuver through. Interior roads are paved, sites are gravel and level. Most of the park has mature trees and is heavily shaded but there is a section in the sunshine with good satellite reception. No restrooms, but the laundry was clean with a nice book exchange. Electric, water (softened!), sewer and wifi worked well. Over the air TV stations were available. Verizon phone and data were available in the area. Staff was friendly and the park was attractive with whimsical decorations, bird feeders and squirrel feeders. The park was quiet with only minimal traffic noises. We would be happy to stay here again. - never settled
Sep 2018 - $32.00
This is a very clean, well managed park. Conveniently located right off 49 near the 44 junction. Even though it was close to the highway, you couldn't really hear the road noise. Sites are gravel but level, full hook-ups plus cable. Clean laundromat (in the same building as the office). 4 sets of washer/dryers, $1.75/$1.25 per load. Excellent T-Mobile and AT&T cell reception. No fire pits or picnic tables. Located directly across from their RV sales/service center. Convenient to shopping in Carthage (about 3 miles), and easy access to Joplin. - MangoandJune
