Water was off for the winter. They wouldn't remove the lock for us to fill. Told us to use the dump station faucet. We had our slides out so we just filled jugs. A hot shower would have been nice. 2 free nights with player cards. - Iamthewalrus
Dec 2017 - $1.00
Rated a 10 for the value. Its a concrete parking lot with W/E hookups. Dumpstation available. Water was off for the winter months. We stayed in both lots. One is in Kansas, the other is over the state line in Missouri. The one closer to the casino in KS is alongside where the trucks also park, so it is a bit louder. The one over on the MO side is nice and quiet. Both have good hookups and wifi available. We also had decent Verizon data signal. To get the 1 night free, go into the casino to the Q-club desk and sign up (free) as a Q-club member. Then go into either the gift shop (if on the KS side) or into the Q-store (gas station) for the MO side. All 21+ in your group can sign up as a member and check-in for 1 free night! - Living Our Dash
Oct 2017 - $1.00
Previous posts are pretty much spot on. However there is a dump-station near the dumpster on the way out. I give it a 10 because of value and the casino treats everyone very well. Site surface was a concrete pad and lots have sunny/open exposures. - StevenH
May 2014 - $10.00
This park was very nice to stay in while we worked to help the Red Cross using our motorhome as a base during the tornado restoration work that we did. Each pedestal at each site has a 30 amp as well as a 50 amp hookup, with good electricity and has good water pressure also available. In addition, there is a dump station in the park as well. Virtually every site is fully shaded, with parking on asphalt large enough to place all wheels of a 40' motor-home off the grass. As instructed we called the Police Department for permission to stay and the Lady there suggested that we might prefer to come to the Police station to avoid any potential hassle with regards to paying. We understood that the Police are busy, however we regularly saw them patrolling the road alongside the park, but we knew that we should pay the $10 nightly fee, and so we took her suggestion. Our stay there was uneventful, peaceful, and we would stay there again. - jmorgan54
Mar 2014 - $10.00
No facilities at this park just porta potties. Took moving three times to find a plug-in that worked. Very kid friendly has a huge park with playground. You have to go by the police department to get the permit they wouldn't come out for us so best to stop on the way by. - G_Escape
Aug 2013 - $10.00
We stayed here while driving Route 66. Campers need to contact the Baxter Springs Police Department for a permit to camp. Even though we called the police department, no one ever came to collect the fee. A dump station is available. There are both back-in and pull-thru sites. Grass was long but it had been rainy for a few weeks. We were able to wash our rig and tow car at our site. We would stay here again. - thetravelkids

We meet some Montana friends here. Our friends called to make a reservation and was told plenty of sites, no worry. When asked about deposits, was told not a problem. They told the staff that we wanted two sites side by side. They gave them the two site numbers that we would be in. When the Montana couple checked in, they were told again that no problem for side by side sites. Before we arrived, they had parked another camper in "our site". When the Montana coupled inquired as to what the deal was. The owner(?) manager became angry and said they did not guarantee sites with out a deposit. This lead to a headed discussion about what had been said. When we arrived, I asked for my site base on the numbers that we had been given. I assume it was the same lady that had been involved in the previous discussion as the conversation went downhill in a hurry. She said we were parked directly across from our friends so it was not a problem. Not sure what directly across form our friends means to her but being two sites further down was not directly across. While this was my first stay at the Joplin KOA it is also my last stay. Staff was very rude. JMHO. - goldsp8
Aug 2017 - $43.00
Laundry is not air conditioned. Washers are two dollars. Dryers are also two dollars Even though the clerk knew I was a cat owner, I was placed right behind a camper who had eight or nine Pomeranians and Chihuahuas. Clerk was rude from the moment I walked in the door. - Sharonc
Jul 2017 - $55.00
Typical KOA, expensive and needs updates. Roads and sites are gravel, making things pretty dusty. Overall okay for a night or two. - mfcros
Apr 2015 - $20.00
This is a clean park with traffic noise and train noise.
Sites are wide, near-level grass and gravel, in various lengths. A few have shade or picnic tables. Voltage is good.
Roads are gravel in very good condition.
Verizon LTE works well.
There are strong terrestrial broadcast signals from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS.
No rest rooms, showers, WiFi, cable, laundry, or credit cards. - wjzcbn
Aug 2010 - $18.00
Very nice and quite private campground. They have full hookups. Would recommend. - timenazi
Oct 2017 - $20.00
Friendly staff offered us a choice of sites. None are particularly level, but that is rarely a problem. Well off the highway so the park is quiet. Clean facilities, small store for supplies make this a great overnight stop. - rfmscat
Oct 2017 - $20.00
Planned one night but stayed 2. Owner wonderful, most sites are long pull thru. Easy in and out. - RDRV
Sep 2017 - $30.00
I'm staying in Mi Casa on the Route (66) in Carthage, Mo. It is definitely, big rig friendly. The spaces are all pull thru and about 100' long. It's a new park and the owners are taking great pride in the park. They are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are spotless. - sflabrkr
Sep 2011 - $9.00
RV parking is across the street from the Casino main parking lot. The area is constantly patrolled by security & the patrol will take you across to the Casino Gift Shop to register and return. Shuttles run back and forth to the Casino day and night. About half the sites are pull-through and utilities are at the back of the site. The sites are paved and level. There are no restrooms, showers or laundry on site. The Casino offers a 2 for 1 breakfast coupon at check in. The rate is $9 first night and free for the next two. The overflow parking lot is used by tour buses and semi's. BNSF RR is 200 feet away and there is rail traffic 24/7. We had no problem sleeping and didn't hear the trains during the night. The Casino & RV lot is within the Eastern Shawnee Nation in the NE corner of the state of Oklahoma, abutting Seneca, Missouri. We noticed no odor from the treatment facility just to the west of the Casino. This is a good place to stop for a day or a few and we would stop here again if in the area. - SilverBear
Jun 2011 - $9.00
Others have addressed the cost and the train. Most of the time, there are plenty of open spots and it is possible to pull through rather than back in. Regarding the sewage treatment plant, when the wind comes from the west, you will get a very unpleasant whiff. Also, the cost goes to $9 on your 4th night, then $15 starting on the 8th night. This is a terrific stopover for a couple nights. Be sure to try out Country Cupboard restaurant for breakfast in Seneca. The casino also offers a good $3 breakfast. - thearys
Apr 2011 - $9.00
Yep, there are trains and they only shook our motorhome slightly. Rate is $9 first night, next 2 nights free. All hookups are at rear of sites in campground, which is a fully paved parking lot. Your RV must be fully self-contained, since no facilities are on site. Buy one, get one dinner coupon with paid first night's rent. $10 casino cash for first time visitors when joining Player's Club. - Teacher's Pet
Oct 2016 - $15.00
This is a very nice RV Park which adjoins the Indigo Sky Casino. The sites are all "back- in." Water and electric only with a dump station on the property. We spent three nights here and enjoyed the peace and quiet in the park. The casino has all the amenities you could ask for. Wonderful food and the office staff are very helpful. - Herb Richards
Sep 2016 - $15.00
This park is often listed as Seneca. MO. It is West of there, a few hundred yards into Oklahoma and is part of the Eastern Shawnee Nation. The adjoining casino is the "Indigo Sky Casino".
This seems to be a very successful enterprise, it is jaw dropping beautiful with fountains and statuary and flower gardens. The grounds are neat and clean and always being maintained.
The hotel is very big and grand with Southwest themed decorations and much to see. There is a restaurant that features a different buffet every night. The food is good! Also a food court. There is an outdoor pool which you can use as an RV guest.
All that said the RV park has some shortcomings, but remember it is $15.00 a night. All sites are water and electric only and these utilities were conveniently placed and very good. Everything is back-in, even the dump station is back-in.
There is an office in the RV park but it is not always manned. Pick a spot and go up to the hotel to register. Very easy, very friendly.
There are 45 sites most, not all, are merely painted lines on an asphalt parking lot. All are numbered and well designed and each backs up to its utilities, but if you want grass on either side of your unit drive around and check for the few that have lawns designed around them. We did.
There are no fire rings or picnic tables at the sites, but there is a huge redwood picnic pavilion with tables and three stone fire places and grills.
The RV park is meticulously clean and groomed, a security vehicle with its green flashing light goes through about every 15mins. The flowers, other shrubbery and lawns are expertly done, but the trees are all young. Shade will be here in a few years. The bathrooms and showers were all clean and well monitored. There is no cable, but all major channels are available OTA.
Wi-Fi is at the Hotel but not in the park. This is a very good casino RV park. The restaurants were great; we never gambled. - Jack B
Mar 2016 - $15.00

Overnight stop. Convenient location. Small, clean park. Probably should have reservations since there are some live-aboards. Excellent, friendly service from host. Small laundromat. We would stay here again in our fifth wheel passing through. - ouachita princess
Oct 2015 - $18.00
Very nice clean and friendly camp host. We had a battery problem and he jumped us plus checked on us later to make sure everything was ok. The gravel pull thru are rather level and there is a grass area. There is no cable tv but our direct tv worked very well. Wi-fi is very good. It is easily accessible to I49. We were here for 2 nights in a 44 ft motorhome. - oniedu
Jun 2015 - $20.00
No longer accepts Passport America, self register, mostly work campers, only few sites available, wi-fi works well, ok for overnight stop .
They accept Good Sam,extra charge for electricity, $0.12 per kWh. - Doum Doum
Nov 2017 - $32.00
Very easy to access and manipulate. Most roads are one way but the gentleman who took us to our sites did explain that with large rigs /coaches it was okay to go the wrong way on the circle road. It was very clean and definitely pet friendly. It was a great idea to have the RV sales/repair basically next door (you came into the park via the parking lot). We only stayed one night but it was quiet, probably because it is in a bit of a valley. Very enjoyable, would definitely stay again. - witchey1
Nov 2017 - $32.00
This cg is just a good basic all around place to stay, whether it be for a couple of days or maybe a week or so. We have stayed here at least 1-2 times every year for8-10 years. The rv Newmar dealership next door is the owner and has a good selection of parts and service also. - jc2
Aug 2017 - $32.00
Very nice park but close to the shooting range so lots of shooting until they closed. Nice park but no rest rooms or showers that I could fine. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sites were pull thru, easy access to water, electric and sewer. Level sites with gravel, no table or fire ring. - lgvig
