2 Parks near Goodland, Kansas

We're never really crazy about KOAs because they are generally so overpriced, and while this one follows typical KOA pricing, it's a great value and place to stay if you're too tired to make it all the way to Denver. We were traveling without our fifth wheel and couldn't tent camp at a nearby county park as planned, so we bit the bullet and stayed here in a cabin. We're so glad we did.
It's run by two of the nicest RV park owners we've met in our eight years of full-time RVing. Despite being overrun at the end of the day by last minute check-ins like us, they were still cheerful and so accommodating to us. As a bonus, they allow pets in two of their four cabins, which gets a BIG paws-up from us because we travel with our German Shepherd.
There's shade, a pool, plenty of grass and while the spots definitely aren't made for big-rigs, they're fine for an overnight stay in a rig that's about 34' or less. Don't expect great wifi or fancy amenities and you won't be disappointed. The park is also spotless. - LiveWorkDream

Stopped here on my way back home from Craig CO. Perhaps one of the cleanest campgrounds I have every stayed at.The owners were very friendly and helpfull. They have a nice hot breakfast I. The morning which is reasonably priced. Will for sure stay here again on my way across KS. - EOS3rd

Easy accessible and predictable KOA experience with level gravel site. Easy utility connections, very good wifi, very good Verizon signal, clean laundry room, well maintained grounds. Extra helpful manager who went above and beyond to see that we were comfortable and well taken care of. - jbrucemagon

This is an old park that needs to be cleaned up. Our first impression was to go elsewhere but since we had paid ahead we decided to give it a try. With that being said we would call this park good enough for an over nighter but that's it. Trees need to be trimmed back for larger Class A RVs. Electrical outlet was loose in panel. Unfortunately not much for campgrounds in this area. - sgtdave

Great website, but when we drove through the actual place we decided to pass and move on. The sites are not well maintained or the landscaping manicured, the pool was covered (in June) and there are a bunch of poorly maintained residential mobile homes onsite that didn't look too friendly. No offense intended to those who lived there, but we're traveling with our young kids and in all honesty the vibe we got was not great. - shinymind

Overpriced. Bathrooms and showers looked like no maintenance has been performed on them for years. No soap in bathroom. - Bigg Al
