2 RV Parks near Goodland, Kansas
Nov 2016 - $30.00
Outside of office area wasn't too bad except for a trailer in the first spot that had junk piled up against it about half way up. Went into the office and was shocked because other places want to encourage you to stay, but this one was full of junk piled up everywhere. The counter was so cluttered that it was hard to find a spot to sign my charge slip. There were little flying critters flitting about and the smell was awful.
The lady seemed nice enough but I won't stop here again. I was headed West and would rather stay in a rest stop than here. - vaw123889

This was an overnighter for us on the way across Kansas. The lady in the office was nice to us, but she qualifies for the hoarder TV show. I agree with everything said in the previous reviews! Will never stay here again. Walmart parking lot is better. - coloradoflyfisher

Person running place is a rude, hoarder. Should have turned around and walked out of the office! Only space on counter was room to sign forms rest was 'stuff'.
Electric 30 amp receptacle was broken. Per woman, her electrician says it is ok.
Road had deep potholes.
Didn't use restrooms because laundry was dirty and covered with more stuff. Was afraid of what bathroom would look like. - Lynne Dollar

We stayed here in June overnight. The new owners were very accommodating to put us in the site of our preference. This has been a favorite cross-country stopover for us for several years due to its convenience to I70 and the great care the owners always took in keeping the place looking immaculate and pretty, with well-tended flower beds throughout. If you have dogs that like to run, this place has a huge field in the back of the property, must be at least 2 acres set aside as a large dog park. Note it's not fully enclosed, but as long as your dogs won't run off, this is a great perk for traveling dog owners. There is also a small fully enclosed dog park. The one area that seems to have slid a little at this park is the sites themselves. We arrived the day after a heavy rain, and most sites, including ours, were muddy. I asked if the owner minded if I swept some gravel into the muddy area, and instead, he had a load of gravel delivered to our site. "A" for attentive customer service, but I really feel it's basic upkeep to keep gravel on gravel sites and touch up muddy spots as they become apparent. I still recommend Goodland KOA highly, and we plan to stay there ad part of pur regular routine. - Groenlo

This KOA needs help. The grounds are not well maintained and the grass had not been cut in quite awhile. We will not stop here again. - Michael47
Jun 2017 - $35.00
As a Journey KOA, this CG has a lot to offer especially families with children. Check in was efficient w/ professional staff. Pool, putt putt course, swing set and carousel all in good order. Landscaping is well under way. Use of the dead trees committing them to art was a nice touch. Sites were level. There's a laundry onsite. We'd stay again. Very friendly community too. Welcoming. - 2Fliers
