Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $13.00
Rate cited is Passport America rate. Bread and butter for this camp is long-term workers. Lots of clutter and crap laying about. There aren't a lot of nightly sites available. Not the most level of camps. Laundry very clean. Bathhouse not so clean and in need of repair. I-35 near by and you can readily hear it. Roads are gravel. Many potential roof snags because trees have not been trimmed. It worked for a night. We camped at Cottonwood Grove RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice place to overnight. Arrived late and had good directions posted as to where to put the tent. The grounds were well kept with plenty of room and surprisingly little highway noise despite being so close to the interstate. Only downside is the bathrooms were clean but in slight disrepair. Owner came by in the morning and is possibly one of the nicest guys I have met. Makes sure he greets all his guests and knowledgeable about the area. We drove 20 min out of our way to go here and it was worth every minute. We camped at Cottonwood Grove RV Campground in a Tent.
This park was bad! No park manager was available. One of those "put your money in an envelope and drop box". Pick your own site. Lots of junk cars and weeds grown up around, although the site was mowed. There were many low hanging tree limbs. Difficult to get into and out. There are some older trailers that probably live there. We will not stay here again. Passport America park, so cost $10. We camped at Cottonwood Grove RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
Good over night park. Large shaded spaces but not very level. Stayed here two nights at different times-coming and going. Rate was Passport America. We camped at Cottonwood Grove RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
