2 RV Parks near Marysville, Kansas
May 2016 - $20.00
This park is difficult to find but if you call ahead they will give you accurate directions-we were even met at the end of the drive and escorted in! They have water, electric and sewer (the city parks do not) and the sites were easy in and out. Not all are pull through, but there are a few. The owners are WONDERFUL. Most importantly, this park has access to a STORM SHELTER. If you have been in eastern Kansas in the spring/summer you know this is an important feature. Owner is a local firefighter and if there is a severe storm warning he is notified and will notify you. There are not many places to stay in this area and if you are looking for a fancy park with tons of amenities to park your family for a week this is NOT the place. But if you are looking for a spot for a night or 2 that is family owned by some super people-this fits the bill! - Moynas
Oct 2014 - $15.00
We checked out this c.g. and left quickly - it was a dump. Roads were rough gravel and pot holes, no visible bathrooms, sites hard to distinguish and junky. When I called for directions was told no pull thrus - could not find location (no sign on highway). We parked at W.M.and walked to look for entrance. I would not recommend this place to anyone. - Tripalot
Oct 2012 - $15.00
This is a nice family owned facility behind a Family Fun Center. We were just looking for an overnight with a pull through site. They were very helpful in getting us set up. Would definitely stop here again when traveling US 36 through Kansas. - Grammy C

The park is beautiful park and in a quiet part of town. There is a creek with a small waterfall next to the RV pads that produce a very peaceful sound. Huge wonderful playground for children. Gorgeous park. I would certainly stay here again! Wonderful stay! - tdtannahill

It is a value and we may stay there again as we make the trip across Rt. 36 4 times yearly. There are 20 somewhat shaded spaces. We stayed on a Monday so only 3 others units were there. Several sites are pull through. Electricity is at every site. The restroom facilities are elsewhere in this large city park, adjacent to the pool. It would have been a long walk and no way would you want to go in a public, unlocked bathroom in the dark. So I would only recommend this campground to self-contained units. Payment is by the honor system as is using the dump station. The picnic table was in poor, warped and rough condition. - Hidden Barb

We love staying at city parks. This one is a great value. The campground clean and well maintained. There is a mix of 20, 30, and 50 amp sites. Some have water hook ups as well. Spaces are large and most are well shaded. Some have picnic tables. The Blue River runs behind the campground. There was only one other camper at the park when we were there midweek. We did notice that locals park at the campground during their lunch breaks. We felt very safe in this campground. Overall, this is an excellent value and we would stay here again. - tripster
