4 Parks near Oakley, Kansas
May 2014 - $22.00
The only good about this park is that it's easy to find. Interior roads are full of pot holes. Electric popped off twice in first spot we chose so we moved to another. Grass was not mowed and no shade. Most residents are permanent and not real friendly. Just used as overnight stop. Would not stay here again unless other campground is full. - cuse44
Sep 2012 - $22.00
Stopped here for an overnight and will not stop here again. The park is next to a motel and is very dirty. Dog droppings everywhere, hookups are "iffy" for electric, sewer and water for most sites. You would be better off staying in a Walmart parking lot. I would only stay here again if I couldn't get to another town to stay overnight. - TX Camper
Jul 2012 - $21.00
If you are hard up and really need to stop for the night then stop here. The electric keeps kicking off while our a/c is running and only have the tv on. The sites are not maintained, need mowed; hard to locate sewer cap (covered with weeds). I'm not sure how they call these pull thru sites if the place was full. There are side by side sites with 4 electric boxes which would make them 4 sites and back in only. Luckily there were 4 electric boxes as we had to switch to try and keep our a/c from tripping. Extremely hot as you are out in the open with no shade at all. Right off highway 40 once you exit I70. There are only 2 other campers here and they look to be rather permanent and in extremely poor condition. The motel may have been renovated a few years back but the rv sites have been severely neglected. For what you get even $21 for the nite seems high. We would avoid this CG in the future. - SubSailor
Aug 2016 - $36.00
Just OK. Person at reception was not very friendly. The water and electricity are too far from sewer. If you want to hook up to sewer you are sticking out too far into traffic way. No trees and all gravel sites. - GlennS
Aug 2016 - $40.00
Basic stopover site. We stayed two nights. Most of the campground would be full by 8 o'clock and then mostly empty the next day and fill up again.
Mostly very roomy pull thru sites on improved gravel. Decent WiFi. Don't use showers or cable TV.
Nothing for kids, but a Pub and Resturaunt close by.
My wife and I enjoy walking, and a long walk down the nearby country roads was great.
We would camp here again! - Larry Jenkins

Very nice campground. They had a great restaurant onsite that had excellent food and was run by one of the campground owners. - Dkkirkland
Aug 2016 - $35.00
Good for an overnight. Walmart next door was convenient. Sites are wide but lots of wind blown trash and messes from previous campers. Staff should police the sites every day and that would help. Don't stay in site 2 as the hook-ups are too far away. Despite all this, I would stay again if needing an overnight stay that is safe. - nmunozjr
Apr 2016 - $35.00
Come to area about every 3 years in our RV to visit relatives. Last time we stayed in Oakley 30 miles away because this place was a pig sty. This year, we planned to stay at another place which is $20, but we're not comfortable with its' neighborhood so we drove by this CG and were pleasantly surprised. It was neat and clean and a pleasant place to be even with no staff!! Put your $35 in the slot with provided envelope with registration info to be filled and pick your site, but put it on the slip. We would stay here again. - KAZIMIRA
Aug 2015 - $25.00
We stopped here for a night on our way to Colorado and were impressed with the location; it's a quiet little campground but Wal Mart is right behind it and the interstate in front. Perfect for travelers. It was late so we didn't get to see the store and antique center, but the grounds were exactly what we needed; flat, clean, quiet and with good hookups. Spaces are a little tight but neighbors were super friendly. Bathrooms and showers are spacious and FREE! We would definitely stay here again. - RussHudson
Aug 2016 - $20.00
We called ahead for directions, easy off exit 53, North, to Cedar, left to end of Street ,turn right then left again into trailer parking. Grass field, no trees, county fairgrounds, we were only 3rd trailer here, we picked out site that had more grass then others, level site mostly, full hook ups. Groundskeeper didn't answer phone, but we parked anyway; as we set up he came by, gave him 20, told us if we wanted to stay another day just drop in a box by a building. Paid for days we stayed, no receipt, cash only, water was great, electric 50 amp, sewer great. We needed a rest for a few days after leaving Denver. No one disturbed us, couple of long term trailers, one trailer left following day, but overall quiet, quiet. Must be self contained. Enjoyed no frills camping but with full hookups! Good for us, will come back, no problem, quiet, area, by high school, no noise from that either. - Jane-James
Sep 2015 - $20.00
The campground was adequate and quite level. We were parked on dirt that could become mud in a rain. There is no shade at all here. The full hookups were adequate. The water pressure was high so a pressure regulator was used. The 50 amp service was spot on. This is really a nice fairgrounds with nice buildings. The services are really good in the area with many shopping and restaurant choices nearby. We would stay here again. - Kent and Margaret
Sep 2014 - $20.00
Stayed here en route to Colorado for one night only. It was very sufficient for the one night. A lot of space to back up our big trailer. Attendant was friendly. It was quiet and off the highway as well. Would stay here again. - JulieDR
