Basic stopover site. We stayed two nights. Most of the campground would be full by 8 o'clock and then mostly empty the next day and fill up again.

Mostly very roomy pull thru sites on improved gravel. Decent WiFi. Don't use showers or cable TV.

Nothing for kids, but a Pub and Resturaunt close by.

My wife and I enjoy walking, and a long walk down the nearby country roads was great.

We would camp here again! We camped at High Plains Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Just OK. Person at reception was not very friendly. The water and electricity are too far from sewer. If you want to hook up to sewer you are sticking out too far into traffic way. No trees and all gravel sites. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

Easy on and off I70 for one night stop. Mixed feelings about the campground. Showers very clean and neat but grounds were not. Yard equipment and items laying around and although yard was mowed, not trimmed. Ask for gravel site because water stands if it rains in some areas. Above ground pool was clean. Laundry was clean. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

We visited the Chalk Rock Monuments which was about 20 minutes down the road. A definite must see as they monuments were formed when there used to be a sea in Kansas.

It looks like a basic park, but the layout is more than adequate. It is very well maintained and the owners are there 24/7.

We were in a new big rig area and while a bit close the sites were more than adequate.

It's more of a layover park, because Oakley is a very small town. We didn't see any permanent residents and the owners make sure the rules are abided by. It's unusual to find a park where smoking is prohibited everywhere but inside your RV or just off the property. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

We parked in a new pull through area that has extra long sites for the longest combinations. Very level. Grass has not had a chance to get too mature yet. The logs protecting the utilities disrupt the flow to the sewer. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

We stayed here one night while passing through. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Grounds are nice given the area, and everything seems well-maintained. There's a nice fenced-in dog area, unfortunately the grass was pretty high leading to it so we didn't get that far. Lots of dogs here, including quite a few in pens outside their RVs with no humans outside watching them, which seemed a little odd to us. There's a good amount of noise from the interstate but nothing our a/c noise couldn't cover up. Best part of this campground for my family was the 18-hole mini golf course, which was nice and no extra charge! Overall not a destination area but we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we pass through. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Roads quite dusty due to lack of rain. Excellent restaurant on site! Good Verizon service. Hook ups well placed once you got over the railroad tie for the sewer. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.

This is an old run down parking lot style park. There are numerous low spots filled with mud and water that you are instructed to drive through to save their grass which wasn't really there. The landscaping is poor, the mini golf looks like it is from the 60s. When we arrived the owner was out in the park and a note was posted on the door to call her for service. When she arrived she seemed put off by us, proceeded to run down the hateful list of rules and discouraged us from swimming because it was too cold. This lady needs to take some customer service classes because she is seriously lacking! We camped at High Plains Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Parking area I would rate as normal/good however the on site restaurant grill make it a must stop and have dinner. Spent 2 nights and will return when in area. Great folks run this operation and put a lot of work into it.

The sites have a sunny/open aspect and are either grass or gravel, equipped with a picnic table. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Just off I-70 & US-83, park is far enough away so minimal road noise. 2 miles N of the town. A bit pricey, but nothing else in the area. Wind can be an issue, but it's Kansas. Convenient restaurant on-site & gas station across road. Good WiFi. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Didn't expect much in the middle of Kansas but had a very nice time in the hot tub and pool. Owners were very sweet and helpful. Even better the on site restaurant is AMAZING. KOBE BEEF burgers and escargot! Camp sites nothing special but loved the extras. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Travel Trailer.

This park is located where Interstate 70 and Highway 83 meet. It has easy access in and out. It is not exactly an RV resort, but it is adequate for an overnight stay. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The site is plenty big although the rig next door is close. There is excellent cable and the restrooms are super. There is an on site restaurant that is a must do. The food is excellent and the owner is the cook. We will definitely return. There isn't a lot out in this part of the country so finding this oasis in very nice. We camped at High Plains Camping in a Motorhome.
