We were heading to Colorado and needed an overnight. We stumbled into this little city park my wife found on line and it was perfect. I gave it 10 because it was perfect for us at the time. Clean, level, 50 amp, well lighted, and easy access. There were no other campers so it was very easy to find a large pull thru with 50 amp. There are to dump stations and about 7 to 9 spots to park - not all 50amp most are 30. - DanMur729

Nice little park. Spot 5 has the best shade, 6 is ok,,, we camped here before and liked it. Clean. Quiet. Nice to listen to the kids playing in the pool. We picked up wifi from somewhere that worked on my computer but not on wife's ipad, she used LTE. Some noise from the grain elevator or power plant but it is like white noise. Didn't bother us. - Jim Lee

Stopped in Stockton to do some family research; the City Park appeared to be the only RV park in town (we later found out there's another but didn't use). The City Park only has about 5 - 7 spaces with mostly 30 AMP outlets. We found one 50 AMP which we used (had to back in but was no problem). You make the reservation by calling City Hall and pay at a self pay station at the park shelter house. The park is immediately adjacent to downtown and right across the street from the high school football stadium (be aware in case you're here on a Fall Friday night). Just a basic park but suited our purposes fine and the rate was a bargain. - Mountain RV User

Stayed at this campground last of May in site No. 8 which is one site away from the wash room and the wifi was good. Stayed again in July in site No. 13 which is the last site to the east with power and water and was not able to connect to the free wifi. Voltage was low at 108 volts but was hot and everyone running air conditioners. Water pressure was good. Since this is a public park there is a lot of people driving through just to look and people parked and fishing but the local police drive through often so the park never feels unsafe. Park fills up by dark. Large shade trees. A great value with power, water and available dump station. Some sites will require some leveling blocks. - campingdog

Nice Campground next to the water right in town. Good size shaded pull through - neat and well maintained. Self-pay station. Lots of folks fishing, little league baseball in the park within view and a two-minute walk to the heart of Ellis (it's small but interesting). - Bmattei

This is a beautiful, yet simple, rv park provided by the Town of Ellis, Kansas. There is a new dock over the river and beautiful trees to provide shade. 30 and 50 amp sites, good water and a dump station. Free wifi works well and you can get CBS and me tv over the air and a few other channels. There isn't a lot in this town, but the people are very friendly. The restrooms double as a storm shelter should the need arise (it didn't while we were here) Read a previous review where someone took the time explaining where the 50 amp sites were (lower numbers mostly) Close to I-70 but quiet other than the occasional person driving through, and the police do patrol the campground. Good night lighting. We really enjoyed our time here! - Ginny H
