4 Parks near Wichita, Kansas
Jul 2015 - $48.00
This is a great place. Fairly new but easy to get to. Wonderful wide concrete pads. The people were so nice and helpful. We plan to come back again. Don't miss this park. - jhowell
Jun 2015 - $54.00
This is a relatively new park with concrete pads set close together. Water pressure is very good, WiFi is poor. I did not use the cable TV. The manager asked me if I would like a pull-through site. She didn't tell me that it costs an extra $10. Grass strips that separate the sites are very narrow and there are no picnic tables or fire rings. Too much money for what you get. - KD7UCH
May 2015 - $49.00
WiFi was down until further notice because the manager was out of town and left no provisions for repair. No picnic tables, just a pad of concrete and grass area. Cable was OK but not great. This park would be an excellent value for a $35 daily rate, but it is not worth the $54 daily rate charged (less discount). - justroaming
Oct 2014 - $35.00
Good, Clean park. Easy access off I-135, large level pull-through, grass between sites, friendly staff and close to shopping. We would stay here again. - B&G 2011
May 2010 - $20.00
On the positive side, the manager was very friendly and accommodating. On the negative: very noisy between the traffic, train, train whistle, dog barking and loud music from club across the street (going till 2 AM): was not conducive to a good night sleep. Park had a lot of permanent residences in run down: very old rigs. Paid for 2 days stayed only 1.? - melbellock
Jul 2015 - $44.00
Was told rate and reservations required and paid in advance. Got there. Rate was $10. More than quoted. Wifi did not work. It was a noisey large gravel parking lot. Was also told the if using a/c, ther would be an electric surcharge, even on a daily rate. We did not stay. Found another park nearby $15.00 less and much nicer. They refused to issue a refund. Avoid this place! - Guitar man
Jun 2015 - $36.00
Easy access of Highway 96. It's in a bit of an industrial looking area. Check in process was simple and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a huge orange Maine Coon cat that stays in the office. He was social and liked to be petted. The store was decently stocked with a variety of items and area brochures.
The office building also contains the shower house, laundry and an underground storm shelter which is important to have in this part of the country.
The roads and rv sites were all gravel. All had full hookups and pull-through sites.
Wifi was pretty bad.
Not a ton of amenities but it is a generally well kept campground that is quiet and very nice for a stopover. - jvkATX
Mar 2015 - $37.00
I stayed for quite some time. I eventually found that USI was charging, almost exactly, double for the electrical. $120.00-$150.00 was my average bill for a 30ft. 30amp tagalong and I worked 10 hours a day. The game room is there, but it costs to use. Make sure that you bring cash or a card since checks are not accepted and tint your windows if you want privacy (nosey people). I will drive the extra miles rather than stay here again. It has also taken over a week to receive my deposit and as of yet i have not gotten it. - Migrant one
