I stayed for quite some time. I eventually found that USI was charging, almost exactly, double for the electrical. $120.00-$150.00 was my average bill for a 30ft. 30amp tagalong and I worked 10 hours a day. The game room is there, but it costs to use. Make sure that you bring cash or a card since checks are not accepted and tint your windows if you want privacy (nosey people). I will drive the extra miles rather than stay here again. It has also taken over a week to receive my deposit and as of yet i have not gotten it. We camped at USI RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Nothing near the campground, but downtown is pretty nice in the summer.

Nice park on the North side of Wichita - easy access from Hwys.135 & 96. Gravel roads, and long, roomy pull-through sites, with some shade trees. Escort to site; friendly staff. Large "pet walk" with grass across from back row, Row D - great for our two Labs. If visiting Wichita, we will stay here again. We camped at USI RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Extremely friendly staff. The sewer drains were a stretch to get to. The biggest issue I have with this park is it is just a huge gravel parking lot. There is no green space to speak of. There was a 'Good Sam' discount, but the rate still seemed a little high. The little green area there is, is off limits to pets. Makes it difficult for them to use the bathroom. When we stayed we were warned that there is one camper that is very diligent about watching for dogs. He turned other campers in because they left their dogs tied up 'unattended' for 7 mins. If you need to get 'plugged in' to recharge after a few days of dry camping, have no dogs and don't want to sit your lawn chairs/ picnic table on grass, it's ok. Did have a few issues with the 50 amp connection. But it has been working since then. We camped at USI RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

It's a well kept park and we were lucky enough to have a tree where we parked. We were told by the manager that they had a fenced in dog area and it was on the map they gave us. All they have up are 4 fence posts with no fence and it had been that way for months. You couldn't take your dog off its leash to let it run or be tied outside alone. I had my dog on a very short leash tied to my steps I went inside to grab something and no sooner than I stepped through the door which was left open I heard a banging on the side of my trailer. It was the grounds keeper telling me I was breaking the rules. The laundry room was nice but the change machine wouldn't except money so you had to go to the office for quarters. The camp hosts that were there were really nice and I enjoyed talking to them. The park is in a nice area off by itself but close to stores and restaurants. We would probably stay here again. For an overnight stop, or for staying in the Wichita area this is a really nice campground. It's not a destination park, but if you're just needing a place to stay it is great! Quiet but convenient to the highway. Very secure. The grounds are clean and well maintained with grassy areas around the periphery of the camping area. Playground equipment is new and nice for the little ones. Large grassy area for pet walking. And quite a bit of shade. The owners/employees are super friendly and helpful. We were very impressed. A little pricey even with Good Sam discount but the gravel sites were level. Staff friendly. Strouds Restaurant within walking distance very good - pan fried chicken. Cable TV OK. Wi-Fi free but WEAK! Would stay here again. We camped at USI RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

A very nice RV park. The restrooms and showers were very clean, and the park hosts were super friendly and helpful. Good dog walking area and they were building a dog park area while we were there. Plan to stay there again next time we are in Wichita. We camped at USI RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice park. Clean and level sites, but they are close together. Not a place you would go camping, but easy to stop for the night if heading south or north. Great customer service. Very nice staff. We camped at USI RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

The park is easy to get to & from Interstate 135 using HWY 96. The GPS took us from I-135 to HWY 254 onto local roads. Wouldn’t recommend that route. The interior roads and sites are gravel. The roads were not very wide and the turn radius were somewhat tight for larger RV’s. Most all of the sites were pull through but not necessarily long enough for larger coaches with their toads attached. There were only a few back ins. The sites were level as the park was built on flat ground. The sites were somewhat close to each other. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50 AMP), & sewer connections. The connections were centrally located along the sites but slightly elevated so sewer flow could be an issue. There was an outside table. There were a lot of trees throughout the park so sufficient space to open slides could be an issue. Due to the amount of trees in the area, a clear view of the southern sky to get satellite reception could be an issue. We specifically asked for a satellite accessible site. They didn’t offer cable and there were only a few broadcast stations available. Their WiFi reception was good. There seem to be a lot extended stay residents everywhere in the park with a lot of clutter and encroachment on the roads. Although their map and facilities list included a fenced dog area, no such area existed. The designated pet area was a large grassy field with a waste collection station. The only other option to walk the dogs was interior roads. Not a very good option. The trash dumpsters were conveniently located to our site. They might have been a walk from other sites. We only chose this park for one night stay because of the negative comments posted about the other parks in the area. For the cost of this park, it didn’t meet up to expectations. If traveling through the area again and needed a place to stay for the night, we would NOT return. Should have picked one of the other parks. We paid $45.00 with our Good Sam discount. What a wonderful park! Staff is helpful, friendly, and eager to help with everything! Very family oriented! Great new playground equipment, lots of space for kids to play. Large pet area. Nice, clean shower houses. On-site laundry facility and propane. We have been here since March and LOVE this place!!! We camped at USI RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

When we got here, there were campers and trucks everywhere. Places are tight: hardly room to even park, much less sit outside and cook a hamburger. Lots of people living here, people walking through park with 3 or 4 beers. Camper next to us got in domestic fight. Campers are way too close together. We wanted to leave early and were refused a refund. They even charged us $8.00 a night for our 2 grandchildren to stay, and then they never stayed. Would not even refund that. The only good thing was the nice play ground equipment, but even with a no dog sign up, there was dog Waste. Never again and we visit Wichita often. We left and stayed in a motel, left the camper, but received NO refund. We camped at USI RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Great park - brand new playground. Great trees. The friendly workers in all of Kansas. The place is always clean, the restrooms are spotless. Huge pet area and close to everything. Very kid friendly, open areas for them to run and play, and lots of other kids to play with. We camped at USI RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Very friendly staff and a person escorts you to your site. All gravel and not necessarily level. Many permanent residents. A very clean park. Strong Wi-Fi. Located in an industrial area. Very easy to locate with GPS. We camped at USI RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $44.00
Good campground, but sites are rather short and tow vehicles must be parked perpendicular to rigs, thus extending into driving lanes. Sometimes, it is a little tight to drive through. Also, can be tight entering or exiting a site if a vehicle is in the way. Watch tree branches overhead--most are fine, but some can be risky if you are not careful. New bathrooms and showers are very, very clean. In spite of the tight spots which are manageable, we recommend this campground. We camped at USI RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
