This is a open wooded area adjacent to the rodeo grounds and show barn. We were the third trailer in the park. We called before getting there and were told that not all the water had been turned back on from the winter. We chose one of the scattered electrical poles through out the park and plugged in. It is a good place to pull off for the night. We camped at Winfield Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Nothing wrong with this place. Parked on grass and had water and electric. Wi-Fi was pay if you could get strong enough signal. Would stay there again if in the area We camped at Winfield Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a nice campground with shade. Most of the sites are on grassy area and if there is rain it can become muddy. Tthe river does cause problems to those camped near the river, but, local authorities will notify campers to move to higher ground. Some 50 amp. Some hookups on cement. Nice place for groups or families to get together. Busy in August for fair and in Sept. for the Bluegrass Festival that draws thousands to the area. Close to town and restaurants and local businesses. Dump station handy. We camped at Winfield Fairgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
