A little difficult to locate, but getting in park and site was no problem. Blacktop streets with concrete pads. Full Hookup, no cable, no local stations. Was not able to get WiFi to work. Campground very large and clean. Driving from interstate 6 miles, but was not a problem. We reserve over the phone, reservation made, no check-in required. We camped here in a 42 ft Motor Home. Site was large enough and patio tables were like new! We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park; long, wide, level concrete sites with concrete patios and picnic tables. The only reason I rated them only satisfactory for service is because reservations must be made either on-line or during the day since the phone rings into the city building and is only answered during business hours. There is no cable and we were not able to pull in any stations by our antenna. Wi-Fi worked well once you got through the hassle of downloading their program to check for anti-virus. All utilities were conveniently located and worked well with plenty of water pressure. Our only complaint is they have a two-dog limit. We foster and rescue tiny dogs and never know for sure how many we will have with us at any particular time. I really hate these restrictions because I don't understand how three or even four small dogs could cause as much disruption or make as much mess as two 70-pounders. We will definitely stay here again any time we can meet their pet restriction. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This gem has become our home away from home in the summer. Beautiful campground nestled right on the banks of the Kentucky River. Sites are concrete and level with concrete patios. Full hookups right where they need to be and super clean. It's a fairly new park with a LOT of pull-through sites and several back-ins. Our favorite sites are the back-ins that are overlooking the river. I've always paid in advance on their website or called the office as there's nobody on site that I've ever seen. Every now and then a City of Carrollton truck might wander through (the park is city owned) but that's about it. No hassles whatsoever. Carrollton has several good sit down restaurants, a Walmart and a Kroger, so almost anything you'd need is just a few miles away. If you're feeling adventurous, take a trip across the bridge to Madison, Indiana where you'll find more mighty fine eating establishments, antique shops, cafes, etc. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice little park right in town about 15 minutes from Kentucky Speedway. It appears this campground is brand new with generous paved sites, hook-ups in perfect condition, and a walking trail along the river. Very neat and clean. Small trees will need a few years before they provide any shade. Smooth paved roads throughout the park. Wifi was excellent since we were here in the off season, good Verizon reception, too. Couldn't reliably get any over-the-air TV stations. Large shopping area about 5 minutes away. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

We were very pleasantly surprised with Two Rivers Campground. This was an enroute overnight stay for us. The Campground was pristine with spacious pull-through, level concrete pads. Full hook-up. The grounds were very manicured. We were traveling over Labor Day and this Campground did not require 3 night stay for a holiday weekend. I didn't rate the service as we no interaction with any of the staff. We arrived after the office was closed and left before they opened. If we're ever back in this area we definitely would stay at 2 Rivers again. Great experience! We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a five year old city park located on the Kentucky River about 1/2 mile north of it's confluence with the Ohio River. It was an excellent choice of a place to stay. It was very well managed and very well kept. The bathhouse was very nice, as was a playground just to the west of it. We were backed up to the Kentucky River and saw several fishing boats heading up stream. Interior roads were all paved and quite wide compared to most campgrounds. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited "Lock #1" on the Kentucky River. It is a small old lock that would cater to small boats, not barges. There are a couple of old buildings in disrepair just east of the lock, appear to be from the mid 1800's. Would be neat to see them restored.

This is a basic campground right on the Kentucky River. It is big rig friendly. Most of the sites are pull through, but there are ones that back up to the river. Full hook ups, with speedy WiFi (free). No real other amenities has a bathhouse (didn't use), small playground & walking trails. You can walk about a mile to the Ohio River, nice park there. Closer to Indiana then Ohio. It's an hour drive to Cincinnati & to Louisville & Lexington. Grocery store is in town about 5 min ride. Nice State Park that has a lodge, mini golf, fishing is about 5 min away. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

There's no camp Host. Someone comes by after check in time (reserve online only) & gives you a paper with the codes to the bathroom or the paper would be on the pole with the site number.

Overall Rating:

Great little park. We were there 2 nights in August 2016. There are 33 spots, all concrete and level. There were only 4 other campers there when we were.

There is no cable TV, and the Wi-Fi is almost nothing, very iffy.

Short walk down to the rivers, and nice county town. Great barge watching on the Ohio River.

Most all are pull-thru, but we choose a back end that backed up to the Kentucky River. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The service at this CG wasn't bad, there just wasn't any - we arrived after 5 pm and checked in using a self-pay honor system. Most of the people at this small CG were locals enjoying a spring weekend with family/kids. This is a fine overnight stop. The CG seems to be a local amenity offered by the county and is fairly basic although very clean. All the hook-ups worked fine. No cable or wi-fi. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

What a beautiful park! Paved roads, spacious concrete pads, concrete patios with picnic tables. The only negative is the difficulty making reservations. The phone number given rings into the city building and is not answered after 4:30 p.m. We had to find a place to stop, hook up our wi-fi hot spot (we don't use a smartphone), and make reservations on our laptop computer - not the most convenient situation. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is absolutely no TV reception. There are very few campgrounds in the area between Louisville and Cincinnati so we would definitely stay here again - just make sure we call in before they close for the day. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very poor access to office area but the CG is quite easy. Long, long pull-throughs. Good power and water. Roads fine. Some noise during day from scrap yard. Web site easy to use. Caution - I can't seem to get any antenna TV channels. TV world suggests there are no channels in the area. Real caution - regardless of Google, get off I-71 at MM 44 (NOT 43). The latter takes you on extremely narrow, drop off roads. But we would clearly stay here again. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We camped here for 2 nights. If you're looking for a campground packed with activities this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a nice relaxing weekend then 2 Rivers Campground is the place to stay. Clean restrooms/showers, nice and spacious concrete pads with full hook-ups, river walk, pavilion overlooking river, and quiet surroundings (for the most part). The codes to the restrooms are on the slip posted at your site. There is # to call on the booth when you check in that can be called if you don't have reservations and are just stopping over. The site is only 3 years old but is a nice spot where Ohio and Kentucky Rivers meet. The salvage yard next door was noisy Sat. morning but it didn't prevent us from relaxing. The downside is no one on duty. You must dial the number previously mentioned to get someone to assist in getting ice/wood. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camped there in a 36 RV. Had site 73, which we easily backed into. Had plenty of room for our slides and awning. Great site, and would stay there again. Water and 50 amp service worked perfect! Plenty of park ranger presence, but they are not overbearing, and we were able to consume our adult beverages without hassle. Pool was closed, but they were working on getting it ready for the summer. We camped at 2 Rivers Campground in a Travel Trailer.
