Immaculate, easy in and out with big rigs, all pull thru sites with brick fire rings, picnic tables, and cable tv. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They delivered firewood to site and offered daily trash pickup. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Reasonably quiet despite closeness to interstate highway. Occasional train nearby was audible but not objectionable. Our site was very unlevel from side to side. Park picks up trash at your site mid-morning. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Great little park operated by folks who care about customer service. Little bit tricky to find the road which dead ends into the park. Well maintained with full hook ups and reasonably spacious sites. Great value at about $40 a night. Several restaurants nearby and easy access to the caves in the area. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

What a sweet little camp ground. The landscaping was just beautiful. There is a butterfly garden with a quant metal butterfly chair. Very quiet. Sites were level. Close to so many places to visit. I would definitely stay here longer next time. There was a large dog park. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We asked the office for a pizza reference and they suggested Turtlelini's (yes, their logo is a turtle) in Horse Cave just a few minutes away. It was superb. If we had known, we wouldn't have gotten the pizza to go as they had a great buffet.

Overall Rating:

We have traveled full-time for four years now and this is by far the cleanest park we have stayed. The landscaping is magnificent, the restrooms were spotless, and our space was spacious, level and shaded. Entire park is pull thru spaces with pedistools tall enough for surge and each one had a light. All the spaces are pull thru. If you have to back your RV up in this park you don't know how to drive! The the freeway near but far enough you don't get the noise. There is a railroad track at the back but after a day I rarely noticed it. The owner is side beside his employees and everyone of them treat you like family, the family that you like! Don't pass this place by. Perfect overnight stop or a base for exploring. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Great on/off overnight spot or a base for exploring the many caves in the area or the Bourbon Trail. The only downside is there is no swimming pool when it's hot but we consider it a win because there aren't a lot of kids.

Level pull thru sites that are gravel, but well maintained. Water pressure great and sewers have threads, which is a plus! Trees are trimmed and no problem with satellite dish working. They do have cable, just didn't use it. Staff was very friendly and showed us to our site. Lot's of rules, but that is a good thing! We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff and escorted to RV site. Asked for the tree to be trimmed since it was hitting the RV. They must have forgotten. Great doggie park. Gravel through out the park. No pool. Parked the RV for a week and saw the attractions around the area. Loud trains all day long and night. Reasonable weekly rate. Enjoyed our stay will be back. Beautiful grounds and spotless facility! Lots of rules, but park is obviously well cared for because of it. The landscaping is amazing compared to other private parks. Lovely fountain with an incredible variety of flowers, trees, and shrubs. Nice restrooms, laundry facilities, and small area with exercise machines. Gravel roads and level pull-thru sites which are fairly close together. Easy access for big rigs. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Park is located in Cave City with many tourist attractions in the area. Also, convenient to restaurants (Cracker Barrel, MacDonalds, and KFC). Railroad tracks are very close by, but we didn't notice any noise at night.

Overall Rating:

This park is geared towards use as home-base for touring the area, not a kiddie-park in itself (no pool or playground), not a Resort park. It is well priced, well managed, and offers level gravel pull thru sites with full hookups. Trees are young yet, not a lot of shade offering, but: generous room between sites, no problems with slides or awnings. Meticulously maintained, spotless restrooms. Excellent cable with lots of channel choice; WiFi is far better than most parks. If the noise from a railroad or interstate bothers you, close your windows and turn on your a/c, you won't notice it. This is our 4th stay in 35' Class A with toad. We look forward to our 5th stay. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Lots of tourist things to do/see in the area, many geared to family fun. Good family-style restaurant and fuel service selections a short drive (or long walk) from the park.

Close to Mammoth NP. Close to the hwy and train tracks but the noise wasn't too bothersome. Check in was easy and you get escorted to your site. Sites are long pull thrus that have the utilities placed so that they can be reached and still leave your tow attached. Very well maintained grounds. There were a few children here during our stay but there isn't much for them to do here i.e. no play equipment or pool. There is another park nearby that would be more suited for families with young children. If ever in the area we'd stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This is an excellent RV park. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and meticulously maintained. You can tell the management works hard to keep this park in the outstanding condition it's in. Our site was level and long enough for the motorhome and toad, with generous space between sites. It is also a great value, considering it's in an area with a major tourist attraction. There was some highway and train noise, but it didn't bother us. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a small park in a rural setting just off I-65. It is a great location to explore Mammoth Caves NP. We also did day trips to Louisville and Lexington. The sites are long pull-thrus with a wide road so no worries getting in or out. The park has pretty trees, perennials, and lots of grass in between sites. The landscaping is well cared for. Folks in office are kind and professional on the phone and in person. We will definitely stay there again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
