Convenient on/off the interstate and 10 minutes from Mammoth Caves NP. Mostly-level gravel pull-throughs with grass in between sites. Friendly check-in staff with escort to your site. Daily morning garbage pick-up. The sites are kept clean and neat. Trees to the southwest may block your satellite reception but cable has a good channel selection. Utilities work fine and are the normal place on each site. We stayed two nights to allow visiting the caves, which are a worthwhile tour. Plenty of other kid-themed activities in the area. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Bucky Bee's BBQ was just OK... There is a long hiking/biking trail with gravel surface through the NP which would be ideal for a bike ride.

Check-in was great. Friendly helpful staff. Park is clean and well maintained. Site was nowhere near level. Looked around at other sites and everywhere we saw various leveling issues. Utilities were fine. Cable consists of 24 channels, so if that is important, bring satellite. No charcoal grill at site and picnic table was wooden, warped and not usable. We stayed to visit various attractions in the area. Trains close by, but didn't bother us. It passing through the area we would stay again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We Stayed at this campground for five nights. Very friendly staff. Large level pull thru sites. This is not a park for children but for those like ourselves that like a quiet, scenic, roomy park. This is the nicest park around the Mammoth Cave area. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay when visiting Mammoth and other caves in the area. Good free internet. This is a newer campground. It was well thought out with wide roads, all sites full hookup, level and pull through. Easy in and out. There are workout equipment and a pool table. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Diamond Cave, after Mammoth. You will know why I recommend it when you do it in that order. Do some antiquing, start with Magalines. Comment on her 'Chapeau' of the day.

check in expedient, site wide, level, long enough for our 70' double tow. Groundskeeping superb. Water off during freezing temps, on to fill our fresh tank as needed. A wonderful find who operates his camp as meticulouly as we do our own. Direction to great restaurants, caving, antiquieing, tips to 'bourbon trail ' starting points A definite return place. No Internet, No cable, 30 amp "pull thrus" are NOT close to level, front to back or side to side, nor are they long enough to stay hooked up for an overnight stay. No TV reception. Cute new lighted KOA electrical boxes. Night time campground is poorly lit and markings for sites unreadable from vehicle. Map is useless. Office closed at 820pm. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Next to busy train tracks or I would give it a 9. We were right next to the tracks and the trains run all night.

Request a site further back from the tracks and you will enjoy it much more. Great friendly service. Good Wi-Fi. Cable TV. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The value wasn't "bad", but I think the place is overpriced for what you get. Unreliable park wifi, meager water pressure, loud trains at night/early in the morning. I thought the water pressure problem was with my coach, but the next park we stayed at had great pressure, so it wasn't my coach. If you have a fifthwheel, you're better off pulling as far into your site as possible and parking behind your coach if there is room, unless you face the center road. To park in front of sites that face the outer road, you are supposed to drive nearly around the entire park to get to the front of your site. They do not want you driving thru an empty site and only the center road is 2-way. The staff is friendly and they pick up your trash if you put it at the front of your site. Cable worked well. They have a nice fenced dog park. Other than the trains, it is a pretty quiet place. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

El Mazatlan mexican restaurant had very good food and service. The bar-b-q joint close to the park (Bucky Bs or something like that) had good food and mediocre service. The smoked pork was fantastic.

Mammoth Cave has several different tours available. Some fill quickly.

Very nice park with well kept grounds. A very nice workcamper checked us in and escorted us to our site. This park is 5 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park. It was easy maneuvering the park roads to our level gravel site. Close to restaurants and fuel. We stayed two nights and would stay again. The only reason I did not rate higher was because of the proximity to railroad tracks and the noise created by the several trains passing through. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was very well maintained, I would say meticulous. The sites were well kept, the staff was courteous, and they even come around to pick up the trash. There's also a small game/exercise room with a free-to-use pool table.

The only draw back is the noise from the nearby train track. The first night was barely noticeable, but the second night it woke me up every time it came through.

With that being said, we would likely stay here again if in the area. It's a 30 minute drive to Bowling Green, but there's also plenty to do in the Cave City area around the park. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped in a 35 foot 5th wheel on pull through site 21. Level, dustless gravel with modest grass patch & small shade tree. Room for truck. Full hook up. Clean shower & laundry houses (2 washers & 2 dryers). Good AT&T cell coverage, generally good WiFi access. Geared towards adults; i.e., no playground/pool. Close to interstate with moderate 24 hour road noise, & periodic train whistle & track noise. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great RV Park. The only negatives that I can point out, 1) WiFi did not work for me, I did try 2 devices, was slow at connecting, so used my cellular data, problem solved. 2) The other watch-out is that they absolutely do not want you driving or parking on the grass or "cutting" through vacant campsites on your way out or in to your site, both state a $125.00 charge that will go on your credit card they catch you. There is a sign in the office that states by checking in, you agree to this....This seems a little ridiculous to say the least (no issues for me, I normally do do either), and I don't recall seeing this stringent rule at other places. Other than that great park, clean and friendly--close to attractions. We will stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here one night as we visited Mammoth Cave and continued on our way. It was easy access to the Interstate and to the Cave was about 10 miles up the road. We had a pull thru that gave us plenty of room to pull in and out of, with cable connection. The park was clean and check in was easy. We would stay here again, in part because there was such easy access. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
