I thought this RV campground was beautiful. Lots of trees, bushes, flowers, a fountain. A great dog park on site which was very clean. When we were leaving, I needed something from the camp store and it was closed. Apparently, the managers or owners were right across the road and saw me, and let me in early to buy my purchase. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

For sure go to Mammoth Caves, do the Historic Tour by a ranger, we did 4 small hikes, Heritage Trail, River Styx Spring Trail, Sloans Pond Walk & a short portion of the Rails to Trails. I wish I had another day to take advantage of biking the 60 miles of trails and greenways in the park. We also went to Abe Lincoln's birthplace and it was worth the hour drive.

check in was efficient and cold. The place is very clean and the grounds are manicured, level sites with plants and grass and even a few trees. Wifi was spotty at best, the owner says it depends on how tall the RV is that's parked next to you! Noise, the train tracks are right there, and loud, the road noise is also there and loud. We stayed here 3 days and the noise stayed with us. Close to everything in the small town, we saw the sights and got on our way. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is conveniently located just off I-65. It has to be one of the cleanest, best maintained campgrounds I have seen. It is a small place with all pull through spaces. They personally escort you to your spot when you arrive and I saw them helping one camper with their hookups. Each camper has FHU, limited cable, and wifi. If you have children, there is nothing much for them to do here but there is a lot locally. There are several restaurants in the area too. I like this place. Very nice. They offered a 10% military discount so our rate was 36 per night. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

long gravel pull thru site. hookups well placed, cable and wi-fi good. close to interstate, road noise not a problem. The only negative is the train noise thru the night, 3 times from 3 am till 6 am we were awakened by the train whistle. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful RV park that is very well maintained. Full hook ups work fine. WIFI was a little weak. Probably the cleanest RV park we have been in. Great doggie area too. Only downside was having to pay the full amount up front when reservations were made. In my case that was like 3 months before. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground pays close attention to detail. All the sites are pull-through and level. There is nice green space between each site. The grounds and bathroom facilities are well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed here to visit Mammoth Cave and it was very convenient. The fenced-in dog area is large and grassy. We enjoyed our 2-night stay here in our 35' travel trailer and would definitely return. We would have given it a 10, but the Wifi was weak. Tips for other Campers:

We were close to Mammoth Cave. There is a Cracker Barrel, McDonalds, and a couple of hotels at the exit along with multiple gas stations with mini-marts for groceries. It is an easy on/off from the Interstate.

We were escorted to our site by a camping host. The gentleman helped us into the site and made sure everything worked before leaving. The bathrooms were spotless. The only problem encountered was the electrical outlets by the sinks did not work. Office was closed when this issue was discovered and we left before the office opened in the AM. Tried to reset the outlet several times, but nothing worked.

We will stay here again. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice campground just off I-65, near Mammoth Cave. This is a relatively small campground, no pool, limited supplies store and really not kid friendly (no amenities for kids). Campground is well maintained with very clean bathhouse. Fire pits are not on every site, so if you want a site with a fire pit, make sure you let them know during the reservation process. Wi-Fi is good, cable has about 25 channels. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

What a well thought out RV park. Sites were nicely laid out and spacious. Restrooms were spotless. Stayed here 4 nights, did Mammoth Caves, drove around and enjoyed the area. The only drawback was the train noise, although they didn't bother us at night. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We usually stay in State or COE parks but this was the Labor Day weekend and we wanted to be off the highway. This park was all that others had rated. Close to most attractions (& only 1/2 hour down the road from the National Corvette Museum and GM's 'Vette plant) yet with a rural feel. Landscaping is a cut above and spaces are very generous considering this a commercial park. Can walk to several good restaurants, short hop off Interstate and lots to see if you aren't into caving. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I loved this place! It is very convenient to Mammoth Cave, just a few miles actually. Lots of restaurants right around the corner. Great location. It is more for adults, as there is really nothing for children to do there. It is a perfect place for us adults to relax. The shower houses are easily the cleanest and nicest ones I have ever seen! The grounds are beautiful, lots of gorgeous landscaping. Laundry room is exceptionally clean. Very nice fitness room. Staff is incredibly friendly, they even lead you to your site so you know exactly where you are going. There is a train that goes by every so often, but that didn't bother us in the least. All sites are pull-thru, pretty close to being completely level, and even though the neighbors were nearby, I still felt like i had a lot of privacy. I will definitely be staying there again! If you would like a fire ring, you must request when reserving. Not all sites have fire rings. Every site has a picnic table. BIG TIP: Stay away from Mammoth Cave on Sundays. So Busy!!!!!!

Overall very nice campground. We stayed here 3 nites during our vacation and took the time to tour some of the caves in the area (which the campground is located near). Gravel roads and site. Site was level. We were traveling with friends and they have buddy sites available which was nice. Shared a lawn area and fire pit. Not all sites have fire pits. Bath house was very clean. Seemed to be used a lot for overnight stays since very close to interstate 65. Have some road noise but wasn't too bad for us. There is a train close by, but we chose to stay on the opposite end (opposite end from dog park) and heard it but wasn't a deal breaker. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for three nights at one of the "buddy" sites - which is a site setup so that two RVs can face one another and share a yard area - perfect for camping with friends! The campground staff was extremely friendly. The store and bathhouse/showers were very clean and nice. The campground has a very nice and well maintained dog area to let the dogs off leash for some exercise. Sites were gravel, level and pull-through with full hook-ups and WIFI that worked well even in poor weather conditions. Every other site had a firepit - so something to keep in mind when reserving to request a pit if you plan a campfire. Landscaping is very nice around the park, though site trees are young thus providing little shade currently. There is interstate and train noise from this campground, but not highly annoying. Sites on opposite end of the dog area are furthest from such noise. Not your typical "camp" feel for a campground, but perfect if visiting the area to tour caves or trails and needing a good place to overnight. Overall a good experience. We camped at Cave Country RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.
