The sites are a bit close together and the roads are a bit tight for big rigs. But, the location is just down the road from Mammoth Cave National Park, the grounds are well cared for, the utilities work great and the staff is friendly. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice folks running a super campground. Nice fishing pond and places to walk the pups. The sites were nice and long. A little tight side to side but livable for two nights. We will return when in town. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here during the big freeze of 2018. The grounds, even in winter, were well maintained and neat. The bathrooms and showers were warm and clean, which was important in the 5 degree weather! We had a long pull-through site, which was fairly level (needed a couple adjustments). The owners were very nice, and gave us great information for touring the local area. The only improvements we would suggest would be a laundry facility (we had to drive 30 min to the closest), and a bigger playground for the kids (not that we had a chance to use the available swings in the freezing weather). We would definitely return. It was a great stay! We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mammoth Caves are nearby-worth a visit. We also drove 1.5 hours to Louisville to tour Churchill Downs and the Louisville Slugger Factory (these are EST). We drove an hour northeast to tour Maker's Mark Bourbon Distillery (again a time change) and Lincoln's boyhood home and birthplace. Finally, we drove to Nashville to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry.

Wonderful stay, quiet, calm. Sites were fairly level and mostly big-rig friendly. We are 40' + towed car and it was easy going. Pay attention to driving instructions, it is easy to miss the sign for entrance. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A great park for a visit to Mammoth Cave National Park. It was the off-season, so the RV park wasn't very full which gave us a little more privacy. And the little fishing pond was fun although we were just watching others fish (we didn't bring rods with us). Unfortunately, the campground is right on top of a hill and there was a terrific rainstorm our second night that continued into the next day. The site map they gave us warned us to go to the bathhouse in case of a tornado, so this experience must be fairly common there. For a couple of Westerners who are not used to this kind of weather, it was downright scary. However, the national park was wonderful and the location was convenient--and the very nice campground owners can't control the weather! We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, small RV park. Awesome WiFi for streaming Netflix, 18 on air TV stations, clean restrooms and showers. Terrific owners!!!

I stayed for 2 nights on my way south for the winter and will definitely stay here again while travelling north in the spring. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Check-in was easy, friendly, and the epitome of southern hospitality! We stayed here two nights to explore Mammoth Cave and do some hiking. We really spent very little time in our rig or at the campground, but it was very convenient to the national park - about 10 minutes away. We had a gravel, level site with water and electric only. There are mature shade trees but they're kept trimmed - meticulously squared off at the entrance so they don't hit taller rigs! Our Verizon service was on roaming here, which hardly ever happens. This campground was perfect for what we needed and we'd definitely stay again if visiting the area. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed during the eclipse, so park was full and we got the overflow spot ... the barn. I loved it, although it was tight in my 40 ft. MH. I was concerned about some branches and the owner came out and trimmed the tree immediately. Very quiet and nice, although equally rustic. I'd stay there again. For value, it's a 10. But, it's not a resort and lacks entertainment facilities. Great place to set up a tent (or RV) and enjoy peace and quiet. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A little on the small and tight side but very quiet and the staff was extremely friendly. I didn't use it myself, but my wife said the bathhouse is extremely clean. There's also a free catch and release fishing pond on the property and you don't need a license. The only down side was the water pressure at our site was a little weak, though my wife did say it was more than plenty in the bath house. Plenty of shade. If we ever come back to this area, we won't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here to visit Mammoth Caverns and the surrounding area. This CG is convenient to most local attractions. It is not a resort, but it is quiet. We meet a number of very nice people here. We'd stay again if in the area for a short term. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mammoth Cave, as well as maybe a dozen more. Rockcastle Shooting Center, Kentucky Down Under (especially nice with young children) There are a number of 'attractions' nearby, some are open, some look like they closed when the interstate went in so if there is a particular place you want to go, then check ahead!. This CG is maybe half an hour north of Bowling Green and the Corvette Museum. Worth a trip even if you are not a car nut.

Great place to stay for Mammoth Cave tours. Be sure you book your tours in advance. Owners were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Gravel sites are pretty level for Kentucky with grass in between. We had a site right next to the barn that had water and 50 amp but no sewer, which was fine for our short stay and provided a pleasant view of a grassy hillside. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is basically a no-frills camp with only 30-amp service but it does have a catch-and-release fish pond and lots of space for kids and pets. WiFi was weak and could not be used by some devices. Boards were needed to assist hydraulic jacks in leveling our motorhome. Lots of trees requires careful positioning for satellite TV. Rules are charmingly fundamentalist and included requests to wear shirts and shoes, and to avoid profanity "as much as possible". A building was pointed out as the safest structure in storms, something all parks should do, and business cards were provided to insure 24-hour accessibility in emergencies. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The camp is two miles from the Mammoth Cave National Park. The traditional Cave tour was a bit of a disappointment with no stalactites, stalagmites, etc. Another tour via a different entrance promised a lot of such "dripstone."

Very clean, neat and manicured. We had site #41 which is a pull through and, lucky for us, the 'porch' side was very big because there was an underground pipe between us and the next RV. It made it very comfortable. However, the RV on the other side of us was VERY close and it must have felt crowded for them. Site was just shy of level. Not bad. There was no cable and on-again, off-again Wifi. We got about 20 channels with OTA. Verizon cell signal was super weak. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful with information about the area. And, speaking of the area - it is beautiful! Mammoth National Park is just down the street from the rv park. We would definitely go back.
