The sites are a bit close together and the roads are a bit tight for big rigs. But, the location is just down the road from Mammoth Cave National Park, the grounds are well cared for, the utilities work great and the staff is friendly. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice folks running a super campground. Nice fishing pond and places to walk the pups. The sites were nice and long. A little tight side to side but livable for two nights. We will return when in town. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here during the big freeze of 2018. The grounds, even in winter, were well maintained and neat. The bathrooms and showers were warm and clean, which was important in the 5 degree weather! We had a long pull-through site, which was fairly level (needed a couple adjustments). The owners were very nice, and gave us great information for touring the local area. The only improvements we would suggest would be a laundry facility (we had to drive 30 min to the closest), and a bigger playground for the kids (not that we had a chance to use the available swings in the freezing weather). We would definitely return. It was a great stay! We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mammoth Caves are nearby-worth a visit. We also drove 1.5 hours to Louisville to tour Churchill Downs and the Louisville Slugger Factory (these are EST). We drove an hour northeast to tour Maker's Mark Bourbon Distillery (again a time change) and Lincoln's boyhood home and birthplace. Finally, we drove to Nashville to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry.

Overall Rating:

A great park for a visit to Mammoth Cave National Park. It was the off-season, so the RV park wasn't very full which gave us a little more privacy. And the little fishing pond was fun although we were just watching others fish (we didn't bring rods with us). Unfortunately, the campground is right on top of a hill and there was a terrific rainstorm our second night that continued into the next day. The site map they gave us warned us to go to the bathhouse in case of a tornado, so this experience must be fairly common there. For a couple of Westerners who are not used to this kind of weather, it was downright scary. However, the national park was wonderful and the location was convenient--and the very nice campground owners can't control the weather! We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a pretty setting with lots of green grass and open area. Sites were pull-through and easy to get into and out of with our 35' 5er. Office staff friendly and welcoming. We only stayed overnight. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay for Mammoth Cave tours. Be sure you book your tours in advance. Owners were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Gravel sites are pretty level for Kentucky with grass in between. We had a site right next to the barn that had water and 50 amp but no sewer, which was fine for our short stay and provided a pleasant view of a grassy hillside. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very clean, neat and manicured. We had site #41 which is a pull through and, lucky for us, the 'porch' side was very big because there was an underground pipe between us and the next RV. It made it very comfortable. However, the RV on the other side of us was VERY close and it must have felt crowded for them. Site was just shy of level. Not bad. There was no cable and on-again, off-again Wifi. We got about 20 channels with OTA. Verizon cell signal was super weak. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful with information about the area. And, speaking of the area - it is beautiful! Mammoth National Park is just down the street from the rv park. We would definitely go back. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Chose this park for location to Mammoth Cave which is five miles away. What a pleasant surprise! But we had a very good spot overlooking a large, well mowed field! The people next to us overlooked our sewer hose so reviews could be dependent n your site. The park is neat and quiet. The sites rate from tent site to large full hook ups. Antenna reception gave us about 10 channels, AT&T phone was acceptable, wi-fi was OK. We stayed a week and tried to extend it but they were filled. Took a few of the park cave tours, went to Bowling Green to the Corvette Museum, and into Cave City. We would definitely return as we are leaving with things left undone, like a Green River float. The host has a list of recommendations which you are given upon registration which we found helpful. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A TASTE OF TEXAS was a good local beef house in Cave City.

For Corvette buffs, the CORVETTE MUSEUM would be a must. It has an updated exhibit on the 2014 sinkhole that took 8 Corvettes.

This is very nice but simple park close to the caves in the area. The grounds were very well kept and clean. The entry and exit are very easy for big rigs. The hosts are very nice people. I had a pull through with quite a bit of slope but was able to level with the jacks. The sites were gravel. Bathrooms are a little dated but very clean. Would stay there again if in the area. Rate was SKP. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were able to get a W/E site for 3 nights. A dump station is available. Park is smaller, sites are pull-thru or back-in, gravel and level. The owner is very friendly, checks to make sure all is well and provides an info sheet on nearby attractions, restaurants, stores. There is no pool, laundry or activity room, but the park is clean, wifi worked well and tv stations were fine. It is very close to Mammoth Cave NP and I65. There is a small fishing pond and field where kids can play. Would stay here again as the value is excellent. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Chasers chocolates are great and you get 10%discount if you mention the campground. Info sheet mentioned Detweiler's Amish store but be aware that there is no parking for a class C camper, truck camper, or medium duty truck. Not even on the road. Also the Green River ferry has max 8ton weight limit. Visit Lincoln's birthplace memorial and of course Mammoth Cave NP!

Rate reflects SKP discount for two nights. The park is located just a few miles from the entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park, our reason for being here. Owners were very friendly and helpful with things to do in the area. You are surrounded by farm land and quiet, with a beautiful night sky. Satellite is no problem. Mammoth Cave National Park is a must see, and the dogwood trees are in bloom at this time, just beautiful! We also ate dinner in Glasgow, a nearby town, at the "Little Taste of Texas" restaurant- the name is a mystery to me since we were in Kentucky, but the food was good and plentiful.

Can't beat half price for SKPES! Good location for Mammoth Caves and other area attractions. All hookups worked very well. Site was level and pull through. Large field for dogs and kids to romp in. If you are a President Lincoln fan (as I am), drive to Hodgenville to see his birthplace and boyhood home (2 sites about 10 miles apart). Mammoth Caves is a natural wonder not to be missed. Try the bourbon balls at Chasers.

This is a very nice RV park. We were a little afraid with some of the reviews we had read, but we were pleasantly surprised. Probably the only reason I didn't give it a 10 was the water pressure was very low. There may be some permanent campers there, but if there are, they keep their places up very nice. It was a little tight in the space we were in. We wouldn't have been able to get our awning out because of a tree close to the site. The owners were very nice. We couldn't get our sewer cap off at our site and they came right over (it was after hours). Someone had cross-threaded it. It is a little tight trying to get out of the campsite. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
