Lovely, quiet little park nestled in Cave country. Not far from groceries and attractions. The real gems are the owners..... kind, compassionate people with a sense of humor. And, they accept PA for two nights, and a discount after that. We experienced torrential rains while we were there, but there is adequate drainage so no real ponding or pooling. Trees were well kept, plenty of gravel to keep roads clear. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Bare bones campground with nice owners who live onsite. Business cards were provided to insure 24-hour accessibility in emergencies. Gravel roads and sites can be a bit bumpy. Full hookups with good WiFi and basic cable TV. Needed to use boards to assist hydraulic jacks in leveling our MH. Bathhouse needs an overhaul - very rustic but appeared to be clean. Sites are very tight. Convenient to Mammoth Cave. Business cards were provided to insure 24-hour accessibility in emergencies. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to order your tickets online at least a month or two before visiting Mammoth Cave if you want to take one of the main tours on a weekend. They are sold out at least 2 weeks in advance of the actual tour date. We ended up standing in line for an hour on a Saturday morning to get the Frozen Niagara Tour. This tour has 10 tickets per tour time that are available only on the date of the actual tour - these are sold out by 8:30 AM on the weekends.

This park is very convenient to Mammoth Cave. Although it doesn't have many amenities, it's a good place to stay. Our back in suite was right in the small pond. However, it was not level. But it didn't take much to level it. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to Mammoth Cave and took the history tour. You need a lot of stamina to do this tour. The end of the tour has you climbing about 110 stairs. Make sure you make your reservation online before you get there. We did, and all the tours were sold out the day we got there. A very popular place!

The park was booked solid when we made our reservation but the manager offered us the "barn site" which turned out to be a little quirky but preferable to the regular sites. It was just off the main loop, so there was more privacy and distance from our neighbors. The site was long enough for the rv with adjacent parking for the toad and surprisingly level. Though there is no dedicated dog area, there is abundant greenspace for walking them and letting them romp. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

If you looking for a campground with a lot of activities and amenities, this one is not for you. However, if your looking for a great place to stop and relax, smell the flowers, and listen to the birds and neighboring farm animals, then make sure you put this one on your list to visit. We stayed here for a month and throughly enjoyed our time here, so much so that we were sad to leave. The owners are fantastic and go out of their way to make sure everything is ok. I stayed for 2 nights on my way south for the winter and will definitely stay here again while travelling north in the spring. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Check-in was easy, friendly, and the epitome of southern hospitality! We stayed here two nights to explore Mammoth Cave and do some hiking. We really spent very little time in our rig or at the campground, but it was very convenient to the national park - about 10 minutes away. We had a gravel, level site with water and electric only. There are mature shade trees but they're kept trimmed - meticulously squared off at the entrance so they don't hit taller rigs! Our Verizon service was on roaming here, which hardly ever happens. This campground was perfect for what we needed and we'd definitely stay again if visiting the area. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed during the eclipse, so park was full and we got the overflow spot ... the barn. I loved it, although it was tight in my 40 ft. MH. I was concerned about some branches and the owner came out and trimmed the tree immediately. Very quiet and nice, although equally rustic. I'd stay there again. For value, it's a 10. But, it's not a resort and lacks entertainment facilities. Great place to set up a tent (or RV) and enjoy peace and quiet. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to visit Mammoth Caverns and the surrounding area. This CG is convenient to most local attractions. It is not a resort, but it is quiet. We meet a number of very nice people here. We'd stay again if in the area for a short term. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Mammoth Cave, as well as maybe a dozen more. Rockcastle Shooting Center, Kentucky Down Under (especially nice with young children) There are a number of 'attractions' nearby, some are open, some look like they closed when the interstate went in so if there is a particular place you want to go, then check ahead!. This CG is maybe half an hour north of Bowling Green and the Corvette Museum. Worth a trip even if you are not a car nut.

This is basically a no-frills camp with only 30-amp service but it does have a catch-and-release fish pond and lots of space for kids and pets. WiFi was weak and could not be used by some devices. Boards were needed to assist hydraulic jacks in leveling our motorhome. Lots of trees requires careful positioning for satellite TV. Rules are charmingly fundamentalist and included requests to wear shirts and shoes, and to avoid profanity "as much as possible". A building was pointed out as the safest structure in storms, something all parks should do, and business cards were provided to insure 24-hour accessibility in emergencies. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The camp is two miles from the Mammoth Cave National Park. The traditional Cave tour was a bit of a disappointment with no stalactites, stalagmites, etc. Another tour via a different entrance promised a lot of such "dripstone."

We were greeted by a very friendly man in the office. We were assigned to a site beside the barn and told we should have no problem with satellite. The site was so unlevel that our coach couldn't level without the front being so far off the ground I could barely get in the door. The power cord went through a broken hole in the barn and you went into the back of the barn to plug in. Very strange. Wifi was good because it was mounted beside us on the barn. There were some decent level sites that were booked by a group. Not sure we will be back. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Very friendly owners that go out their way to answer all your questions. Great fishing pond with lots of fish. Free fishing gear and other things at the front office. Very clean and kept up bathhouse. Internet at site 17 along the pond was fast at around 10Mbs. Sites are a little cramped but still can setup a tent by the RV. Lots of cave tourists. Stores 5 to 10mins in Cave City and Walmart is a little further SE of Cave City. The caves are about 5 to 10mins West of the campground. The roads to the campground and caves are curvy and somewhat dangerous; so drive slow and safely. Singing Hills RV park also has a Propane filling tank. Compared to other nearby campgrounds you can't beat the price. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Diamond Caverns is closer to the campground than Mammoth Cave if you don't reserve a tour at Mammoth Cave; Diamond Caverns is a nice alternative though a couple buck more expensive. Grocery and liquor stores a few minutes down the road in Cave City. Roads are curvy with no guardrails, so drive very cautiously. The campround comes up fast on the Right just around a corner. The entrance to Singing Hills RV park is framed by two small wagon wheels.

This park is set in the hills just 2 miles from Mammoth Cave NP. It is off the highway and so is very quiet. The sites are long but not level; our front wheels were off the ground, even with using blocks under our jacks. Services were easy to access. We supposedly got the last site - next to the barn. Some people might not like this, but we thought it was kind of quaint! Very nice and helpful owners. Spacious sites with grass and trees, hills and a pond (w big fish - catch and release - per Chris). Stayed here to go to Mammoth Cave. We definitely stay here again! A nice, quiet, peaceful park with nice campers - rowdiness is discouraged. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
