We stayed here to watch the eclipse. We arrived on Sunday evening just before dusk and left late on Monday afternoon. The transient spots were flat & level. They have limestone pea gravel. No mud. They have 30 amp power, water shut-off valves in good condition, sewer connection point was in good condition and easy to hook to reliability. The site was very easy to back into, and the park was easy to navigate pulling a 30' travel trailer. The pool was a little small but very clean, warm, sunny, in good repair and not super crowded. The playground left a little to be desired. It was small, pretty tired and not in particularly good repair. Our kids (11, 9, 6 & 3) rated it a 4 out of 10. The bathrooms and shower house looked clean, although I didn't use them. The park is mostly permanent campers. About half of the rigs are pretty dirty and a little junky. It isn't what you'd call a beautiful campground, but it's not scary either. It has beach access to the lake, a decent little dock, and a boat ramp. The woman at the front desk was so nice and very helpful. The camp store is reasonably stocked. Propane and charcoal were reasonably priced. All of the fellow campers we interacted with were pleasant. Functionally, the campground gets it done at a bargain price. Aesthetically, it's just a little underwhelming. This campground has all the ingredients to be a really good park. With some decent landscaping, a mandatory annual power washing requirements for permanent campers and a general sprucing up (dock, playground, picnic tables) you'd have a hard time getting a site on short notice. I'd stay again. We camped at Indian Point RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Good place for overnight stay. Park has over 200 sites but only a handful that are NOT extended stay; annual lease. Friendly and helpful staff. The residents that live here are extremely nice. We camped at Indian Point RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Arrived after hours with a reservation only to find someone else had already occupied my assigned spot. Ended up with the last pull thru which was right on the main entrance road with traffic coming and going all night. The park is mostly for those who have set up their trailers permanently and they are running everywhere in their golf carts until all hours of the night. The site I had was nothing more than some gravel with a broken down picnic table and a fire ring. Absolutely no grass! I would definitely not stay there again. Can't say anything about the showers and restrooms because I couldn't find any!! Not worth the money. We camped at Indian Point RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was mainly full-timers and they did not seem to like us intruding. No choice of location and not a single person to deal with at check-in. The information was taped to the door. We could not hook up cable due to the fact the something was wrong with the connector on their end. And well after mid-night people were buzzing around in their vehicles. Cannot speak about the ground because we were unable to locate anyone to direct us. We decided to leave the next day for another location. We will NOT return. We camped at Indian Point RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
