We were just passing through and this is primarily a seasonal campground. However, they have nice, level, pull through sites with FHU's for overnighters. The staff, owners I think, were very nice and helpful and the park was very quiet and clean. We didn't use any of the facilities so I can't comment on them. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A one night stay traveling through. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Sites are a little narrow with trees that require very wide turns out of the pull thru sites. Although site was fairly narrow more than enough length for tow vehicle parking. Seemed to be a large percentage of long term residents but well kept and clean. We were in a paved site that was pretty level. Would use this park again whenever in the area. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Sites are paved and level, but narrow. Outside living area, mix of rocks/dirt/some grass, but narrow. For big rigs, there are trees with lower branches (swing out and wide). A lot of long-term seasonal residences, using their RVs as "lake houses". Pool is nice, clean. Restrooms very clean, though only one shower per men/women restrooms. Playground area for kids looked new and inviting (we have no kids, so we just viewed from a distance). Lots of shade trees. When we were here (week before Memorial Day weekend) it was really quiet. Most of the "lake house" RVs were unoccupied, but will bet when Thursday pm/Friday am rolls around, this place will be hopping with weekenders. We were guided into our site, which is nice because of the narrow interior paved roads. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Broadbent's gourmet market place at Exit 40 EXCELLENT meats, cheeses, homemade pickles. We went 3 times while we here!

Picnic in Kuttawa (Hwy.62 west) a quaint Victorian/New England town with BEAUTIFUL homes and a park right on the lake, lots of picnic tables.

Visit the Eddy Grove/Medicine Man vineyard/wines. Nice winery just east on Hwy. 293 about 6 miles.

Overall Rating:

Not much grass or trees, basically a gravel parking lot. The majority of spaces are occupied by permanent trailers. No social gatherings here, not even on the weekends when a few of the permanents were here. Swimming pool closes early so owners can get home, not very friendly folks. Best thing about the park was the Wi-Fi. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Outback staff were friendly and helpful. Many of the sites do not offer shade. The facilities are clean and well maintained. My rate was using a Good Sam 10% discount. Their wireless Internet seems to work quite well. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground host was wonderful. Close to many attractions including Amish community and Land Between the Lakes. We had reservations for two nights, but we stayed two weeks. We will return. Park extremely clean and safe. Full hook ups at every site. Easy access from I-24 for overnight stay. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

When we stopped for the night, we were the only transients in the Park. This RV Park is close to Lake Barkley, so most of the spots have permanent and seasonal people on them. On summer weekends, it would be difficult to just drive up in the afternoon and be able to stay the night, as we did. The facilities are spotlessly clean and convenient. There is only one shower in each bathroom, but the majority seasonal, that is no problem. The park is close to I-24 for easy access, but far enough away to not have road noise. All in all, a pleasant night. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park is a bit crowded with small sites. It appears clean and is part of an RV sales / repair business. Office personnel were a bit unfriendly. For an overnight stay it is an OK park. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed during the heat wave in July and loved the nice pool to cool off in. The park was kept very clean and everyone seemed down home friendly. Nice park for families. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We are a family that travels with our two kids - Ages 9 and 6. We stayed hear unexpectedly after a change of plans. We were very nervous as we could not find a website for this park or any other reviews. We were refereed there by another park that was full. It turned out to be a very nice overnight stop. It is a mostly seasonal or permanent site park but it does not feel that way. All of the sites are very well maintained. The sites were a bit close with not much between them. The pool was great and the playground was nice as well. Bathrooms were very clean and decorated nicely. We would stay here again on an overnight if need be. We camped at Outback RV Park in a Motorhome.
