This park is not on the Fort Knox military post, but it isn't far away. This was my second stay at this CG. The last was a few years ago. Wi-Fi still iffy depending on how far from the office and how many RVs are between you and there. You can sit in the rec building and use a laptop if you need strong Wi-Fi. Cell service is also sketchy. I had to go outside the RV to get one bar. Utilities were good. There is a mixture of concrete and gravel sites. Most are level. Not all of them will allow for satellite reception due to trees. The rec building is nice, is in the middle of the park, and contains laundry, satellite TV, and a book/movie sharing library. I think laundry was a buck per load. There is a stocked lake next to the park. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only the W/E sites are reservable. They offer a discount for Golden Age/Access card holders which I used. We camped at Camp Carlson Recreation Area (Military Camping Only) in a Motorhome.Undo
