Easy access campground from I65 that was perfect for an overnight stop. This is a former KOA campground with gravel roads and site pads. Our pull thru site was reasonably level, sloping slightly down from front to back, and clean. 50A power was stable around 118v. Water pressure was decent at around 45psi. We were warmly greeted and the check-in process was smooth. Aesthetically the park is rather plain but it served our purpose and we would stop again. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice shaded campground. Stayed here for 4 nights while doing the Bourbon Trail. Quiet at night. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Sites were a little tight and the 3 way connections were a stretch for hoses, etc.
Would stay here again. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Bourbon Trail, Churchhill Downs.

Easy to access and register. Nice staff. The campground had some construction going on (till about 7 pm) so gravel was piled in different area thus eliminating some of the pull through sites. Some sites looked quite bumpy and it would be hard to level the trailer. It was an OK spot for overnight except the noise from the very nearby hwy required windows and vents to be closed in order to sleep (and we have a four season trailer). I would not stay again. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

$5.00 extra per night for our third person. Quite a bit more than most other parks charge - especially considering this park offers very few amenities. This park has some seasonals that appear to be occupied by local workers. This is a waystop for most rigs on the way elsewhere. A small park with very pretty tall trees. Lanes and sites are gravel. Nice kids playground and large game fields. Pool. Campers and staff are very nice. Nice cabins for rent. $2.75 per load of laundry. Nice laundry room with 4 large capacity washer/dryers. And long tables for folding. There is not much to do in Elizabethtown. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lewisville is about 60 minutes away. Be sure to take a tour at the Mammoth Caverns National Park.

Easy access from the interstate and Bluegrass Parkway. Sites are very narrow. Be careful getting into and out of coach. Nice pool. Try Back Home Restaurant in Elizabethtown. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Bourbon Trail sites and Louisville sites (Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger), Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site.

We have been staying here for over 20 years. They are mostly overnighters during the week. There are a few permanents some are junky. The cg is well maintained, sites are level rock, and there is community actives. We stayed for 5 nights on site 44. The is a good site if you can pull though backwards. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly at check-in, nice small store. Older campground, but well maintained. Spots are a little tight, but we were able to stay hitched up. Pretty area, with fireflies at night. Noise from interstate was absolutely not a problem. The biggest issue was that we were unable to get Verizon phone access. We were able to text people, and we did receive one call (when we were out for a short walk), but we were unable to call out. There are lots of trees, so satellite reception may be an issue at some spots. The sewer location was a little awkward for our set-up - we ended up using their dump the next morning. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We enjoyed our four nights in the campground. It is nice and quiet with many fully grown trees despite being within sight of the interstate and just as close to many major interstate locales such as fast-food restaurants, local eateries, and gas stations. Access to the campgrounds is easy with only two turns - easy for any large travel trailer or motorhome. Sites are fairly close together and some sites require navigation between trees and more leveling than others. Trash dumpsters, pool, and playground are centrally located and include the basics. Restrooms/showers are very clean. Owners are very nice and available, if needed. Store has many of the basics required if you don't want to travel to the Kroger w/gas station about five miles away. Propane fill-up is available and reasonably priced. Cable is available with box check-out from store; great reception of HD over-the-air stations. Water has a metallic taste so recommend, if you don't have high quality filters, purchasing some bottled water. Sewage smells are non-existent. Small onsite lake is available for fishing - probably limited stock. Though dated in some respects it is extremely well kept and enjoyable. We would definitely return. Good Sam/Military discount. We camped in a 20' Travel Trailer - Hybrid. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We called late the day of our arrival and they had one site (#36) available with water and electric for $27. with Good Sam discount. Site was very long and our 65 feet rv & truck had room to spare. No dump at this site. Dump easy to get to... just more work when my age closer to 80 than 70. Creosoted logs at dump site added to effort. Site 36 ok for front located satellite dish. Didn't use any other facility. Roadways narrow but ok to maneuver, never understood why owners do not cut trees when so numerous.

Drive slowly after exiting I-65 because their sign is small. We would call earlier next time and ask for this same site. I would be sure my gray and black tanks were empty. Good overnight campground. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Just drive slow on approach so you can see their sign and have empty tanks for site 36. Site 36 sbout 85 feet long.

Nice enough campground. We stayed in a pull through and it was fairly level. The overall condition of the grounds is fair to good. Lots of mature trees. Owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be the interstate noise. Would stay there again. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a bad park at all. We had a 30A service. The voltage was 118V, and the water pressure was 35psi which is a little low. The configuration of the sites is a little odd, but manageable. We were able to park our 36' FW in our assigned site with plenty of room for our truck while un-hitched. Our site was off level by 3 inches. Management was very friendly and helpful. I guess it was bad luck, but we were surrounded by yappy little dogs. We couldn't step outside without them starting to bark incessantly. This was exascerbated by the fact that the owners had left their campsites and weren't there to control their mutts. (As you can probably tell, I'm not a "dog" lover). There was good wifi service, and we were able to obtain a sattelite signal from our campsite. There are quite a few trees in the park, so your sattelite reception may or may not work. There is cable in the park if you need it. We used the laundry. There were four washers and four dryers, and they all worked correctly. There are lots and lots of historical sites and attractions in the area that make this a great location to stay at. Louisville is just a short drive away, and there are distilleries and museums in every direction from the park. We'd stay here again. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at the park for 9 days and were very pleased. The site was a little unlevel but not as bad as some. Staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry facility was excellent and the bathhouse was very clean and nice. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty as you got away from the office but if you were in the laundry it was excellent. Lots of TV channels to flip through. We camped at Elizabethtown Crossroads Campground in a Motorhome.
