Big rig friendly with level sites. Traveled on I55 south and then I155 using our GPS. Then we had to take a ferry across the river. Suggest you check to see the difference if you stay on I55. Only bathroom and shower is in the office. Laundry was good. No dog park but grass to walk dog. Staff was very friendly. - Fulltimersrv

Good overnight stay. Convenient to highway. Would stay there again. Sites are decent with adequate room. Did not use the WiFi. Decent cell phone coverage. Surge protector would not turn on using the 50 amp connection but worked fine with the 30 amp connection. - wv2tx

We are full-timers and on the road. Pulled into Union City and planned on staying at this park. The park was full except for 1 site. Looked to be full of people living there. It is basically a parking lot, but would have been fine for an overnight stay. The 1 open site was already booked. This is the first time in 4 1/2 years of full-timing that we have ever stopped somewhere that had no site available. I wouldn't recommend stopping here unless you call ahead and reserve "if" there is anything available. - User2260

Great place to stop for the night. No frills here but it looks like the owner is making improvements. Nice, level, full hookup sites. Brand new laundry/shower/restrooms. Fast WIFI. Room to walk the dog. Everything we needed to wait out 2 rainy days. - CJVJn1Doug

Park on the edge of no where. Nice, shaded, big sites, overlook the Mississippi River. No real staff at Park. There is a camp host but she was not here when we arrived. Just found our site and it was marked as reserved for us. Camp host dropped by later and checked on us. Verizon iffy. Do not buy the tengointernet, waste of money. Nice people. We would stay here again, but unlikely we will ever be in this neck of the woods again. - Littleredsportscar

Nice little park in an isolated area on the banks of the Mississippi River. Not much to do but great for people with children. Like others have said, the connectivity is bad...no Verizon service to speak of. - DD Jones

Although one of the more expensive state parks we've stayed in, we really loved this park! The ONLY downside that we found was that some sites were unlevel requiring longer wheel based vehicles to drive up on blocks. Having said that, our site (#27) was pretty level with a great view of the river below. The "available wi-fi" is a system that you have to pay for. However, we were able to use our Verizon phones as a hot-spot. The camp host was extremely helpful! - Wandering With Us
