The park is well kept and clean. Office staff is cordial and helpful. Access to campsites was easy with an escort to the site.
Gravel roads make it difficult to ride a bike. There s no dog park. Dogs must be kept on leash. We would stay there again.
We especially enjoyed a visit to the Thoroughbred Center and the Toyota plant. Both tours were exceptional and we learned a lot. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. New park so has very little shade but young trees are planted. Roads are all gravel so dust gets on vehicles. Wi-Fi is weak, especially when park is near full. Good cell signal and only few miles from I75. We were by the lake with Canada geese which was good, also nice farm setting behind the park. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the new Ark Encounter (Noah's Ark replica) in Williamstown, about 30 minutes north. Whether you believe or not, this thing is very impressive, an amazing feat of engineering and architecture.

Campground was awesome! Very friendly staff upon walking into the front office without a reservation. We were stopping in for an overnight stay and were treated just as well as those staying for longer. We were escorted to our site and guided in so that we were centered, slides free of obstacles, and had quick access to the hookups. Very easy to maneuver our 43.5' 5th wheel. Other campers were very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer! This campground will be on our list for the future. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice RV park. Everything's level, with gravel interior roads and larger sites, most with grass. Trees are growing though still small, but great views to the sky for your satellite. The park is off the freeway, down a very nice winding road but wide enough for your RV. Entrance to the park is wide and easy to access. Staff at check-in were great, very customer service oriented. We were led to our pull-through site. Sites are gravel but long enough for your RV and toad (depending on length). There are a few long-term'ers here, but they are not in the same area as the visiting RV'ers. Each site has a composite/metal picnic tables (in good shape!) and a fire ring (which we didn't use). WiFi is spotty and limited. Pool which we didn't use looked nice and refreshing and very clean and welcoming. The property has a lake/pond on it which has backup sites next to it. There is no cable TV, but antenna works great. Yes, we would definitely stay here again! We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Take the Bluegrass Country Driving Tour (front desk can help you with the map). It's a fun way to see the surrounding horse farms and history of the area. Well worth the trip!

We had a back-in site that sloped at the back so not as level as we'd like and the utilities were a bit oddly spaced yet manageable. The parking for your toad was the oddest - you parked across your site partially in the street. Over the holiday weekend cars were parked on both sides making it a narrow passage. There was a nice playground for the kids, a really nice pool area, good laundry facilities and a small fishing lake that was well used. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground. New pullthru area with perfectly level, easy access gravel sites. We appreciated not having to level or unhook our truck. There's no grass between sites in this new short-term section but the rest of the sites have grass dividers. There's very little shade because it's new and the trees are still small. We didn't use the pool but it looked sparkling clean. There's a beautiful little pond and garden in front of the office which is immaculate. It's obvious the place is well taken care of. It is also very convenient to I-75 but is not noisy. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for a week and was $216. Large park with a lot of seasonals. Park layout somewhat confusing so we were glad we were escorted to our site. Road off of SR 25 to park was narrow but in good condition. Not many trees and overlooking a lake. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We called ahead and made reservations, so we were able to get a pull-thru for a couple of days. When we checked in, the people were friendly and someone guided us to our site and made suggestions on what to do while we were there. We got a regular site, which was pretty level, with gravel, and there was a picnic table. Apparently, from we saw, the premium sites have some grass, a picnic table, and a fire ring. Satellite and antenna TV worked well. AT&T cell service was good. They have limited Wi-Fi, which we found did not work well, even with a booster. We were able to get our phones set-up as hotspots, which worked well. The pool area looked nice, and they were opening while we were there, but we did not use it. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Part of the bourbon runs through the area, with a couple of distilleries within easy driving distance, as well as a couple of candy factories. Frankfort, Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati are within driving distance.

We stayed for 1 night. Very friendly helpful staff. Clean, modern, quiet campground. Level site, good WiFi but your usage is limited, nice pool area. It's hard to find a good campground in this area of the state but this one is it. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV park was wonderful. We only stayed overnight, but upon our return trip to Holland, Michigan, we will be staying a few nights. The only caution is when arriving from the North on 75, do not take the first exit as the GPS suggests or be in for a twisty road. Instead take the second exit turn right and 1.7 miles turn right again. Go up the hill to the park.

The staff was very courteous, and golf carted us to our pull-through. The restrooms contained a private toilet, shower and sink and were immaculate. Highly suggest this park if on your route. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The road in was very narrow. The park was well maintained and the staff was very nice and helpful. They golf carted us to our site and when we requested one with grass they moved us to another. The sites are very close but maneuverable. We will continue to stay here to and from family visits. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We got lucky getting a spot here. We decided to go to Rolex last minute and caught someone's cancellation. Easy to get to off highway. We were taken to our spot and they provided boards for our leveling feet since we were on a newly graveled spot. It was raining a lot that week. Roads in were fine for our 43' and toad. View was pretty. No dog park and a hum of highway noise if you were outside. There was a pool, but wasn't open yet. Would stay again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects a one week stay. The park is located on a level hill, a few miles from Georgetown, with a gravel surface. All utilities worked very well and the sky is open for dish. There is a very nice pool area, witch was not open yet.
The staff was helpful in suggesting things to do in the area. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Toyota has a plant in Georgetown that is available for tours of the 8.1 million sq ft facility, very informative. No trip here would be complete without a visit to two of the finest horse racing facilities in the country, Keeneland and Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby! We toured Buffalo Trace Distillery, which included a tasting at the end. You also need to have a mint julep and the famous Hot Brown sandwich

Convenient park to the Lexington area. We stayed here Easter weekend, and many sites were open. Big rigs should be concerned about the back-in sites, as they are not very wide. We had a nice site (#1) which gave us a decent grass area. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
