This is a very crowded park. Sites are very close together and there is no where to park you tow vehicle or your toad if you have a motorhome. The site(s) we stayed on where just barely big enough for our 40 foot motorhome and the front end was right on the street. Parking is difficult due to the amount of tow vehicles parked on the sides of the road (both sides). Also, our site was so soft our jacks in the rear sunk down 12" in the gravel. Boards were not much help.

When you arrive, there is a gentlemen that insists on "parking" you. I don't really want someone showing me where and how to park my rig, so I just had to ignore him which he didn't like. I know my rig, where it needs to be on the site, etc., and really don't like someone telling me I'm back too far, or I need to get closer to the utilities etc., when they don't realize I have to be able to open my basement doors.

Overall, it's a decent campground, but there are others so much better so we most likely won't be back. It's just way to crowded and close together for my tastes. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a well maintained park not too far off the interstate. Rogers Gap Rd. is very narrow for a short distance. It would be impossible to pass another RV, however, arrival and departure times are far enough apart that it shouldn't happen. Sites are gravel with fire ring and plastic picnic table (no grills allowed on top). Their "limited" wifi didn't work well even though we were near the office, however, our AT&T hotspot worked fine. Water pressure is high so restrictors are require. Our 50% restrictor provided very low water pressure inside the coach. As with many parks, there is a nearby train that bothered us at night occasionally. This is a nice enough park for visiting Lexington and nearby distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail so we would return. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Town Branch and Wild Turkey distilleries. Touring the horse farms is a must. We used Unique Horse Farm Tours and had a great time. Our guide, Shawn, was extremely knowledgeable and seemed to know almost every horse farm owner, trainer and goomer in the city.

This was an overnight stop. We had a pull through and did not disconnect the tow. The park is very clean. The roads and sites were gravel with some grass between the sites. The area is sloped and we had to work the jacks to get level. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites rather close together, but no worse than expected for RV park. Very clean, excellent water pressure (70 - 75 PSI) so be sure to have regulator if you want lower. They sell them at registration. Some sites are completely gravel, others have grass. If you have a preference, ask when making reservations. Rogers Gap road is really narrow. Doubt that 2 RVs could pass each other without at least one of them having to drive on the shoulder. Thankfully, not much traffic other than the RVs in the park. Shell station at exit from I-75 has easy access from either outside island for gas or diesel. Pilot across street from Shell is fine for diesel, but somewhat challenging for gas. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice large RV resort with gravel roads and sites with table and grass. Very few trees and mostly back in sites with FHU. Recently remodeled with longer sites for big rigs but not enough for parking. Weak wi-fi, average cell signal, open skies for sat tv. Nice grass area around fishing pond and playground. Large open pavilion with some activities. Nice pool but no club house. ATVs prohibited. Bring extra leveling blocks as sites off over a foot front to back. No tents. 3 miles from the main hwy. Staff friendly and helpful. We will return. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground is very hilly but it's very nice and picturesque. Some spots in the middle are built on a hill and are very tight together. Towards the top of the hill, spots are all grass and larger. Then there is a road that goes around. Those lots are also roomie but they are very far from all the amenities. A golf cart is definitely required.

There are lots of activities for the kids and all the facilities are newer. There's free pot pie, billiards, ping-pong, church on Sunday. Has a very nice, large pool. Has a snack shack where food was decent. Club house was nice but I've seen others that were more well stocked. Activities were good. Overall a very nice day and nice park. There's a nice pond if you are a fisherman, but it is all the way down the hill and basically disconnected from the campground. Definitely too far without driving or riding a bike or having a golf cart. Almost forgot frisbee golf to. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Some roads could be tight and are really one lane. Some of the more interior camp spots would be hard to back in with a very long trailer.

The park is clean and well kept, but the sites (ours was gravel) are a bit close together. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Access to the campsites was easy with an escort to the site. The pool, bathrooms, etc. were great. The park is surprising close to I-75 which resulted in some noise. The site we were on was absolutely level, so set up was easy. WiFi was ok, not the worst we've experienced. Water pressure is high and they strongly suggest a regulator (sold at the store if you need one). I would love to rate this park higher, but it suffers from the same problem many others do - that is, a very narrow access road. Rogers Gap road is narrow with virtually no shoulder. In addition, tree branches have not been trimmed very aggressively, so you may be dodging tree limbs for a couple of hundred yards. We would return. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely park. It is huge, but plenty of space for everyone. It has fishing, basketball court, a wonderful pavilion, pool, laundry, etc.
Our site was backed up to a green lagoon - very quiet and private. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The road leading to this park is narrow, but short and I encountered no problems.
We visited the Toyota Plant Tour and the Noah's Ark, both of which were well worthwhile. I do not recommend going into Georgetown when the huge Toyota Plant is changing shifts as the traffic is very heavy. If all are at work the roads have few vehicles.

The park is well kept and clean. Office staff is cordial and helpful. Access to campsites was easy with an escort to the site.
Gravel roads make it difficult to ride a bike. There s no dog park. Dogs must be kept on leash. We would stay there again.
We especially enjoyed a visit to the Thoroughbred Center and the Toyota plant. Both tours were exceptional and we learned a lot. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. New park so has very little shade but young trees are planted. Roads are all gravel so dust gets on vehicles. Wi-Fi is weak, especially when park is near full. Good cell signal and only few miles from I75. We were by the lake with Canada geese which was good, also nice farm setting behind the park. I would definitely stay here again. Campground was awesome! Very friendly staff upon walking into the front office without a reservation. We were stopping in for an overnight stay and were treated just as well as those staying for longer. We were escorted to our site and guided in so that we were centered, slides free of obstacles, and had quick access to the hookups. Very easy to maneuver our 43.5' 5th wheel. Other campers were very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer! This campground will be on our list for the future. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice campground. Most of the sites were unlevel hard pack gravel. Very close sites. If you park on the road you need to be around to move if someone is trying to park. No camp mats allowed - a fine if you kill their grass. Water was strong and power was fine. Nice jump pillow for the kids. Playground was nice. Pool was nice and they do have a little slide for the kids. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice RV park. Everything's level, with gravel interior roads and larger sites, most with grass. Trees are growing though still small, but great views to the sky for your satellite. The park is off the freeway, down a very nice winding road but wide enough for your RV. Entrance to the park is wide and easy to access. Staff at check-in were great, very customer service oriented. We were led to our pull-through site. Sites are gravel but long enough for your RV and toad (depending on length). There are a few long-term'ers here, but they are not in the same area as the visiting RV'ers. Each site has a composite/metal picnic tables (in good shape!) and a fire ring (which we didn't use). WiFi is spotty and limited. Pool which we didn't use looked nice and refreshing and very clean and welcoming. The property has a lake/pond on it which has backup sites next to it. There is no cable TV, but antenna works great. Yes, we would definitely stay here again! We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We had a back-in site that sloped at the back so not as level as we'd like and the utilities were a bit oddly spaced yet manageable. The parking for your toad was the oddest - you parked across your site partially in the street. Over the holiday weekend cars were parked on both sides making it a narrow passage. There was a nice playground for the kids, a really nice pool area, good laundry facilities and a small fishing lake that was well used. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.
