This is a good park. Staff was friendly and helpful. They led us to our site. Our pull through site was long enough, although we had to park the truck sideways in front of the 5th wheel. Overall a good experience. One caution. When approaching the park on Rogers Gap Rd, the last 1/4 mile is very narrow and has very poor visibility for oncoming traffic. It's barely wide enough for 2 vehicles to pass. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Toyota factory is worth the visit. It's about 5 miles away in Georgetown. Also "Old Friends" farm for retired Thoroughbred racehorses is a fun place to visit.

Had to go home a day early because one of us was sick and they would not refund us the extra day. I just thought is would be a good business practice to do so. There is a $250.00 fine for being on the grass. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Very nice and clean RV Park. The Park is large and it was full when while we were there. Park appears to be relative new park as facilities look newer and all the trees are still small (no shade from trees). The staff was extremely friendly and very nice during check-in. Staff escorts you to your site and helps position the RV on the site. In the shower houses near the premium sites, there is a Laundry and 10 bathrooms in the building. The bathrooms are individual rooms about 8x10 size, with a toilet, sink and your own personal shower and a door that locks. Very clean. I used the site WiFI in the premium section and found it to be very fast for a RV Park system. Entire Park is gravel but it is well graded and my site was level. The premium sites have a concrete patio with a picnic table and Patio chairs. This Park was not far from the Ark Encounter and an hour from the Creation Museum. The only reason I did not give the highest rating is Cable TV is not available. While we could get a good number of channels on our antenna, I like Fox News in the morning and it is only available on cable. With Good Sam discount the rate was $41.40/night. Would definitely stay here again. Only thing that kept me from rating it a 10 was no paved roads or concrete sites and no Cable TV. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our stay. The roads are wide and easy to navigate. The park is very well maintained. We were guided to our site. We had a back-in site beside the pond, with lovely views. Our site was grassy with a gravel pad for parking. The site was just big enough for our 41' MH, but there was a small parking area just steps from our site for our tow vehicle. The laundry and rest rooms were clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. The only negative thing I can say is that we had very heavy rains today and the drainage at our site was poor. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park would have gotten an even higher rating by me if their sites were level. We were in site 100 and it was very unlevel, but their staff brought us lots of boards and we were able to level up. We ended up staying 5 nights because of Hurricane Florence, and they were quite full every night. Their WIFI was great, they updated to fiber optic this spring. Lots of OTA TV channels too. The water pressure and taste was good, electric and water connections were conveniently located, but we had to use 2 sewer hoses due to the connection being way in the front of the site. There were quite a few trains at night, but earplugs helped. The staff is very nice and very helpful. We needed propane and dropped our tank off at the office, they filled it, then delivered it back to our site with a bill to pay in the office. There is a Sunday morning church service, nice, big pond and a beautiful pool. Unfortunately, they closed the pool the day we arrived and it was 91 outside. This is a very nice rv park and we definitely would stay here again. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So much to do here..visit the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, and Lexington is only 20 miles away. We visited Town Branch Distillery and Brewery in Lexington...great tour! Also visit the Woodford Reserve and Wild Turkey Distilleries, both within a 25 mile trip, but the roads our GPS took us on were VERY narrow for miles and one had a low bridge, so DON'T take your RV. Galvin's Restaurant on Main Street in Georgetown is an excellent place for lunch.

The campground looked great online and the reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and helped pick a site that she said would be perfect for our dogs. Upon arrival once you are checked in, you are escorted to your site. Gravel roads and sites that are very close together with no shade trees. I am so thankful that we had a site near the back that had a nice size field next to it. We walked around and noticed that all site are close and many are seasonal. The pull through sites were completely gravel with no grass at all. The playground was really nice and they set up inflatables for the kids. A nice little fishing pond and pool, but we did not use either. The bathhouse was really nice - each one had about a dozen private showers/bathroom and really clean. On Sunday we had to wait for our neighbor across the street to hook-up and leave as there simply was not room for us both to do that at the same time. We even had to move our truck on Saturday for neighbors to get in and out of their site. It would be a great place to stay for kids to enjoy the pool or playground, but not if you want a little privacy or space. I would recommend a spot next to the fishing pond or towards the back just past the playground. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, well maintained park. Okay for an overnight stop, but your experience is very site dependent. Ours (site 4, a back-in by the pond) was marginally long enough for our 43' motorhome. The ground (gravel) was too soft for our rear jacks, even with blocks. We were not able to level the coach, but it was tolerable for one night. Water pressure is high and a regulator is recommended. They sell them in the office if needed. Site ingress and egress are challenging due to close proximity of sites and parked cars. No doubt we would have had a better experience had we been in a premium pull-through site. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed two nights on a trip to and from SC to OH and back. We were in premium pull thru site 231 and it was great. Very level. Thoroughly enjoyed our two stays and would recommend the premium sites for motor coaches. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's a bit off the beaten path and not close to any stores, but very quiet. Roads are narrow once off the highway. Upon check-in we asked to stay another night but the woman didn't even look up and said we'd have to move. Other parks when we've asked have at least tried to move things around. Our site across from the office was pretty level, but when we took a walk around the park there were units propped up as much as 2 feet! The man next to us said he had to move because his site was so uneven and he was towing a trailer with a motorcycle behind is motor home. Wifi worked sporadically and no cable. Over-the-air was good. Spaces are close together; we could almost read the words our neighbors were reading outside their RV! HA! We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful park, very well maintained - roads were gravel but no potholes. Wifi was mostly non-existent. We were in a back-in site near the pond. Parking for the tow vehicle is parallel to the road rather than as part of the site. So, when all the sites were occupied, it was hard to get down the road. They did tell us that they were going to make all these sites at an angle over this coming winter when they are closed. This will be a huge improvement. Hopefully, they'll make them longer too, so your vehicle will fit within the site inline with your RV. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Motorhome.

A return visit to this park would be a premium pull-thru or a back-in site around the outside edge. My standard pull-thru was very unlevel (#29) and very close to my neighbor. I did have grass, some pull-thrus do not. The location is good. Take it easy on Rogers Gap Rd; best to slow down. Interior roads were easy to maneuver. We stayed at Whispering Hills RV Park for 4 nights to visit the Ark Encounter. Friendly and helpful staff and they escort you to your site. FHU site was very well placed (except sewer dump). This is a fairly new gem of a RV park not too far from the Ark Encounter. It is large and well laid out with easy maneuvering for large RVs. The only negative, which is not their doing, is the 1/2 mile on Rogers Gap Road into the park is very narrow. There are not a lot of low hanging limbs but there is some school bus and truck traffic. Once in the park, the amenities are very good with pool, recreation area, picnic tables and a lake. There is very nice patio furniture at every site. We would stay here again. My family has stayed at WHRV Park twice now and we LOVE IT! The staff are very polite and friendly. The pool was very relaxing and refreshing during our hot weekend visit. The pond and all the activities they had for my boys was very fun and exciting. Although the only reason I did not give them a perfect 10 is.... I wish there was a little shade. There is pretty much zero shade at this park. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped here for just one night on the way to TN & it worked out great. The place was quiet & had all the amenities we needed. We didn't use the restrooms so I can't say how they were but the staff was friendly & very helpful when we requested a late check out for a very reasonable fee. We were escorted to our site which was very helpful, plenty of space for the rig & yard area. If we're in the area again, we'd stop here for a longer stay.
