This campground only has 10 sites. During the week - not too busy. Weekends - it's usually full. Very clean and quiet. Gates are locked at 10pm at night. Camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. Boat ramp is narrow. Campsites are small. Dump station is a little difficult to back into and the campground is on an incline. This campground is surrounded by water on 3 sides. It's close to town and also a large marina is within a few miles. Nice for a short stay. Lake here is gorgeous! Boat parking is cramped with not too many places to park. This site was perfect for us. Thankful we could also park our boat here because there was no parking available near the boat ramp. Very small but quaint campground. Quiet and peaceful. Very well maintained and clean!Over all we enjoyed our stay. Just keep in mind it's very small. We camped at Fall Creek Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Conley Bottom marina is also close via road or lake. Recommend their restaurant for a get away. There are no activities here at this camp ground other than a nice kids play area so, if you have a boat, bring it along because this part of the lake is gorgeous!

Overall Rating:

The campground is directly on Lake Cumberland, and each campsite has great views of the water. The campground is very well maintained and really clean. Water pressure is really low. The bathrooms are OK, not the best, not the worse. The only two problems I can see are the sewer dump can be a little tricky to get to, and getting your camper in your site might be tough. We have a 32 ft. TT and attempted to turn around at the top of the hill, but had to stop when the bumper of the tow vehicle hit the TT. Took some back and forth to get straighten out and into our site. I would suggest backing the TT up the hill and into your spot or getting out and taking a look before you drove up the hill to the site. We have a couple more trips reserved here and cannot wait to go back. The campground only has 10 sites and a boat ramp. Park and walk to your site first to make sure you can get into your spot. We camped at Fall Creek Campground COE in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

U.S. Army Corp of Engineers campground on the Cumberland Reservoir. Newly remodeled sites. For a remote camping experience with boat ramp to the reservoir close by, this campground can provide it. Water and electric only, gravel sites. A dump station is on site, but requires some tight maneuvering to back into position. Roads to campground are narrow, paved, curvy and hilly. Quiet campground, with a host couple on site. Reservoir, with water on 3 sides. There is a newly equipped modern playground and some picnic tables around. But, not a lot of places to hike near the campground. The road out of the campground goes up a long, steep hill. We were visiting nearby relatives whose cabin was 3 miles away. Camped 3 nights. No TV reception. Some cell phones will work, Sprint will not. We camped at Fall Creek Campground COE in a Motorhome.
