How this park rates high with Good Sam is beyond me. The road noise is horrible with sirens and big trucks day and night. The dust is the worst I have ever seen. There is a car auction next door and mostly permanents in the back with old trailers and junk all over. There is no owners or workampers at night so you are on your own if a problem arises. The staff was okay with a older office gal that is really hard to deal with. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

This place is a dusty, dirty ghetto. I am currently overlooking a "junk yard" - junk cars, a fire engine and RVs. I cannot believe this place has a GS rating of 9!!! Junked up full time resident trailers everywhere. If your RV is clean, DON'T stop here, it will need washing again. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Many open spaces here but they put us in the front row for a 4 day stay. Front row is 60 feet from a busy highway. Park is dusty at times, and lots of seasonal or permanent residents here. No noise from them, just the cars/trucks on the road. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

A bit of a drive to Land Between the Lakes but we needed to be a bigger city so it worked for us. Weather was good while here but the ground was dry so they've been due for some rain.

We have stayed here before & will stay here again. We like Paducah (used to stay at the Holiday Inn before we got our RV). It is a convenient stopping point between the Chicago area & Nashville. The owners & staff are friendly & helpful. This time we stayed just before the solar eclipse & they were packed. Because we have stayed before we were given an overflow space by the barn. It actually was kind of nice. We still had full hook up including cable, only thing we were missing was grass by our site for the dogs. Fortunately they have a beautiful dog park. It is large with plush grass, a gazebo & a park bench under a nice shade tree. It is by far the nicest dog park I have ever encountered. They also have a very nice pool. Each site gets its own garbage can. They have a laundry, too. Satellite was easy to pick up. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Have stayed here before passing through town. Park has been under new ownership for 4 years, new owners have kept it about the same. Clean place to stay, with good access to the old waterfront district. Staff are friendly, there is some highway noise if that's a problem for you. All services work good. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice RV Park. It has easy access to the Interstate and is close to the city of Paducah. The streets are asphalt and the sites are gravel. There are quite a few pull through sites. All the area is level. Wifi worked great; electric, water and sewer were fine. Cable TV was fine. There is a pool, but we did not use. The entire park was neat and the management was extremely nice. We would definitely stay there again. To us the sites were a little close, but doable. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Paducah water front is pretty. The city sits on the Ohio River and from the downtown water front you can see where the Tennessee River enters the Ohio. Not far away is the land between the lakes wild life area. There is a quilt museum in town and the flood wall downtown has murals on it. There is a branch campus of Murray State University in town.

Nice park, about 1/2 mile from the interstate. Full services. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites and roads are all gravel, and are flat and level. We were only there for 1 night, but would stay there again. Excellent value for the money. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We came to Paducah primarily for the National Quilt Museum, which my wife loved! There is plenty of shopping available, and the usual variety of restaurants. Paducah is on the Ohio River, so you can go downtown to view it if interested.

We have been to a lot of RV parks in our travels and this one rates up their at the top. The staff was very friendly. Our site was level, good hookups, long sites with plenty of room for slides with staggered sites so you are not looking into neighbors coach. Gravel roads and sites with grassy area beside coach with fire ring and picnic table. Very pet friendly with nice large fenced in dog run. Wifi was excellent with several towers throughout the park. Very strong Verizon signal. Location is easy access from I-24 and close enough to downtown area and upper town. We thoroughly enjoyed Paducah and Duck Creek RV Park. We will definitely be coming back. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to Puducah for the attractions, while we were there in early spring and grass and trees were not in full summer condition, the grounds are just a bit rough - not horrible but in need of some fine tuning. Again a good stop along your route for the night. Nice front desk help - quiet at night.

We stayed 2 nights at DC in a parking lot style slip with utilities. There appears to be long term residents toward the rear of the park and the traffic is heavy leaving and returning during work hours. The slips are too close causing problems with slides opening. The restrooms are clean; however, only one shower in the main restroom. We will past DC on our return trip through Paducah! We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is conveniently located to Paducah attractions. Roads and sites are gravel. Our site was level and full hook-up, 50 amp with sewer and was plenty long enough for any size rig. The WiFi was okay most of the time. They offer cable, but we didn't use it. All sites are open for satellite connection. There is a pool which looks okay, but was closed at this time of year. Many sites seem to be occupied by long term residents. It is an okay place to visit the area, but is need of some TLC and upkeep. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Arrived about 1 pm. Desk person was friendly and polite. I had asked for a pull thru site as I have difficulty backing my small trailer. I was put in site 10. It is close to the road, which is noisy, and because the park is mostly gravel, the dust from those entering or exiting can be choking if you are sitting outside. I am disappointed because the other reviews rated the park so high. There are a lot of permanent sites, which leaves the front sites for those only needing a few nights. Cable was fine. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second stay at Duck Creek and this time the park was nearly full. Paducah was hosting a bar-b-q festival on the riverfront in a few days and the park was filling up ahead of that. Exterior signage was good, interior roads were fine and the store/office is easily accessed. Mostly pull-thrus but some back-ins, some spaces with shade , others out in the open. Sites are a bit close but there was adequate room for our triple slide MH. We were in FHU site 4 (pull thru). Our pedestal had both a 30/50 amp connection (didn't look for a 20-amp connection) and good water pressure. We also had a cable hookup which we did use as we couldn't get a clear enough shot of the sky for our satellite (DISH). About 20-cable channels, usual mix, and OTA signals are good for southern Illinois and Paducah. I think we had all 4-networks between cable and OTA. Didn't use the restrooms or showers so no intel on them but if they're like the rest of the park they should be fine. There is a nice, enclosed dog run towards the back of the park. And you'll get your very own little plastic duck on check-in! Some road noise from the adjacent road but it was very minimal overnight. Traffic picked up for the morning rush. We will absolutely stay here again. We camped at Duck Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.
