We stayed here for an over night while traveling. Got the last pull thru with 50 amps as facility was full for the quilting event. Very friendly and helpful staff. The overnight sites are extremely close and we could not open an awning but was OK for our one night needs. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Just an overnight, but we might as well have been in any parking lot. The man who checked us in was very brusque, gave us no paperwork or any information. Back row site was very close. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We were there as part of a rally for the Eclipse. By E-day, the place was packed, but there was still enough room for everybody. The property is very well managed and clean. Every A/C unit that was there was running, but there was only one blink and that was corrected fast. The WiFi was effective, and there are two separate systems. I can't tell you about TV. We were there for 4 quiet nights. Check the rates, they have a wide scale. If we go back to Padudcah, this would be a first choice. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Do not miss going into the old town. The architecture is classic, the flood wall murals should not be missed, and the quilt museum.... Read about that in Trip Adviser. There were other museums and things we did not get to this trip.

We stopped for an overnighter while passing through town. The pull-thru site we had was perfect for our purposes. It was all gravel and very wide. If you want to stay longer, there are other sites back-in sites that seem better suited. The restrooms and shower were older, but exceptionally clean. The lady who checked us in could not have been any nicer or helpful. WiFi was good with no problems. We will definitely stay again when we need to overnight in the area. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Owners are very nice and the property is well maintained. Bathhouse was clean and water pressure strong. Several long-term tenants. Pilot truck stop off the same exit, which was very convenient. Quiet night sleep. We heard no road or truck noise, which was nice as I'm a light sleeper. The only reason I gave the property a 7, was $34 is a bit high for what it is. Your spot is basically a parking spot on a gravel road. There is no privacy, no cable and no property amenities (except a couple swings and a pretty pond which my children did enjoy). It really is geared towards long term tenants and people like us, stopping for a quick overnight. Had it been $25, I would have given the property a 9. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed for 6 days of Quilt Week and was well pleased w/ pretty much all aspects. Very close to all sites plus an hourly shuttle to shows and exhibits. Well maintained w/ fairly large sites (no problem w/ slides), good laundry, clean facilities. Half mile off highway and close to Pilot gas station, but really little to no traffic noise. If you're doing Paducah this is the place to stay. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Great place for an overnight. Close to I-24 but no road noise. Pull-thrus up front are close together and the back row is solid gravel (no grass between sites) but quite adequate for a short stay. Some sites in the back area near the pond are very close together. Very nice owner. Would stay again. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Site was west side, don't know number. Shower was OK, water did not drain away too fast. We were 56 ft with cargo trailer. Just fit. Our row of pull thrus was a gravel parking lot area. Besides all the just OK comments, it was fine. Couldn't hear the interstate noise. Good location to see downtown Paducah and close to all shopping. Park is at exit 3 and shopping is at exit 4. We would stay here again. Owners were very nice and helpful for directions and site seeing info. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Paducah - Go to the Quilt Museum and see the river wall murals. If you are a quilter you must go to Hancocks of Paducah exit 4. Harley Davidson has a cool building at exit 11. Flamingo Row is an excellent restaurant near exit 4. Went for a ride to Land Between the Lakes, it was not as scenic as we had hoped.

We were in the pullthrough section at the front of the park and found it to be an easy in and out. Sites are pretty close but for overnighters that is fine. I found the owners to be so nice and helpful - really restored my faith in humanity. I was getting used to being invisible so to get suggestions of what to see and directions was so nice. We had a great wifi connection and OTA reception. Sites are gravel so a bit dusty but I am tired of mud haha! Had a great nights sleep - road noise was negligible. Very convenient location to head to restaurants and grocery stores. If you don't want to drive there is a Waffle Hut right across the street. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a small campground near the Interstate but not much traffic noise. There is a busy road in front of park but as this was an overnight stop for us it wasn't a problem. The overnight sites are gravel and fairly level. The staff is friendly. The overnight section sites are mostly very close together but all are pull through. The interior roads were easy to navigate but there was only one way into the pull through section big enough for our rig. If your neighbor is parked very far back, there isn't room to drive through to your site. WiFi is very good but it was difficult to lock onto satellite. We would stop again. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

If you have time, visit old town Paducah along the waterfront. There is a lovely park to sit and watch river traffic. There are wonderful murals along the flood wall. There is a shopping mall only one exit away.

Nice, small park, near interstate, but not so near to have excessive noise. Level grassy site, with large trees. This site had only electricity, no sewer, water was a distance away (and not turned on). As it was, I only needed electricity, but it seemed a little pricy for that type of hookup. Park appeared to have mostly permanent residents, but at least 8-10 sites available for overnighters. For overnight, it is fine. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.

We arrived late after a challenging day where we blew a tire on our MH. Wasn't in the best of spirits, but after showing up at 9:40pm, I was greeted by the owner who not only was professional but gave me the name of a service center to look at my RV prior to leaving the next day with phone number. Park was fairly crowded. Grounds were clean and for being in Paducah proper, had a rustic feel to it. Showers were good, albeit a little dated. Close to the Kentucky Oaks Mall. Easy on and easy off the interstate. Down the road from a Pilot truck stop, which was handy. Would definitely stay there again. We camped at Fern Lake Campground in a Motorhome.
