We stayed at this park to view the total solar eclipse. They were totally booked, which probably explains the rate given. The staff were excellent hosts for the event, even cooking a lunch available for a small cost. Note that access from the major highways and travelling to town involve two lane country roads. The park is totally out in the country and surrounded by soybean fields. Also note that the park is near an auto race track & drag strip. It was somewhat noisy on Saturday night during the races, but it quieted down quickly a little after 10 pm. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a quiet, family owned park located just a few minutes from Paducah, KY. All sites are pull through, and all hook ups were easy to reach. All services worked well. The sites are sunny with newly trees planted, picnic tables and fire rings. It is not a resort by any means, but will provide a nice stopover for travelers, or pleasant family time for weekend campers. We had good reception our satellite dish and on ATT cellular. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Paducah is quaint town on the Ohio River at the confluence of the Tennessee River. It has interesting history, and the riverfront area has beautiful murals, nice shops and good restaurants.

This is a difficult park to review. You can tell that the owners are RVers and know what is important but they have to work with what they have. Pros- The owners are committed to a good clean park. Good power and water pressure. Level well maintained sites. Quiet while we were there (there is a racetrack very close). Cons - a bit of a drive from anything (interstate, restaurants, etc.), dusty gravel roads, not much space between sites, owner stated 50 amp could not handle 3 a/c running. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Pretty low-key out of the way campground. Not much to do in area, but this was just an overnight stop for us. Roads from interstate were good, but a little tight. Nice owners. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

New ownership within last two years. Not a lot of "bells and whistles". Just a clean, friendly park. Long pull-through sites available. Big rig friendly. Hard packed gravel. 30/50 amp. Water is 65 PSI. About 4 miles off I24. Only drawback is "no cable". No overhead trees to block satellite. Stayed here one night in a 37' fifth wheel. Would stay here again. Good value for your money. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed two nights at Victory due to a windshield "incident" in Nashville that required a replacement. The lady manager was so accommodating, since we called her several times while dealing with the incident on-route. She had our info waiting in the box outside the office, as it was a Sunday and we finally made it in after hours.

The site was really easy to get into for us newbies, which we really appreciated. One word of caution: DON'T turn down the small road near the trees your GPS might tell you to use. Look up and ahead and you can see the RV park from there. It's out in the open, no trees there! (Ask us how we know...)

You should know that there's a racetrack just beyond the RV park, and it can be very noisy on race nights. Sunday was not a normal race day, but they had been rained out earlier in the weekend. The noise ended before 10 pm, and after that it was very quiet and peaceful. Roads leading into the park are fine, but there's no shoulder on the state road, so just be aware of that if you're in a big rig. We got our 45' 5th wheel and HDT in here just fine, and we didn't have to unhook. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Paducah's river walk is pretty neat. There are murals on the street side and a steam engine with a couple cars, including a mail car. On the river side of the retaining wall people gather in the evenings just to watch the river and the boats go by. We got dinner at Doe's and took it back to the trailer. Really good spaghetti and meatballs, and the salad dressing was yummy! The Land Between the Lakes is about 20 miles away and a nice area for hiking or picnicking.

Nice long space for Tow Vehicle and long 5th wheel. Didn't have to unhook. RV space was level. Very close to racetrack. We found RV park by looking for racetrack on GPS as GPS didn't recognize the campground name. Would stay here again. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a wonderful park off the freeway quite a ways, so there is no noise from passing vechicles. The staff was excellent and she guided me to my spot and made sure I was ok with it. The only draw back to the place is that it is on a very narrow road. A person has to travel about 3 or 4 miles off the freeway on tar road that have no shoulders to speak of and are very narrow. The water pressure was good, and the electric was in the green all of the time. The sites are fairly large. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Before checking in, you may want to check out the Beacon Drag Strip website schedule of racing. It's across the street and we arrived on a Saturday before a big event. The noise was enormous and the RV park owner told us it would stop about 6 pm. Yet, at 9:45 pm, hundreds of cars were still lined up to get inside. The drag racing went on until an astonishing 2 am and we had ear plugs trying to sleep. The park itself is nice and open and we liked that and the owners try and leave a space around you as the park fills up. Despite the noise, we were assured that the next day the races would be over by 4 pm. So we stayed another day. At 5 pm, the sounds of motors roaring and tires screeching continued, so this time we called the Paducah Police who said they would have the sheriff go out and check for unauthorized activity. It was quiet that evening and I'd say it was one of the quietest parks we've ever stayed at. One sour note, when leaving the next day, we were 50 minutes late in pulling out of our site, and the park was almost empty on that row, and the owner, who was very irate and agitated, knocked on our door and said he was charging us $5 extra for each hour we were there after check out time. He seemed very angry as he stalked away telling me "you're still using my utilities" He had a good point, although he needs to learn to be more tactful. We are the customers. He needs us, we don't need him. So we paid the $5. Under the circumstances, having us put up with the enormous dragster noise and not ask for a refund, we thought he was out of line. These are new owners and need to realize they are in the service business. Beware of faulty GPS turn instructions. This park is several miles from the freeway on small roads, and you might get a wrong turn instruction, to the left, right before getting to the park. This is a small dead end road. Usually, you can see the park straight ahead at this time, and just keep going down the main road. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We cannot recommend this park, but do read other evaluations. The drag strip and dirt track racing unexpectedly started up on a Thursday evening at 6pm and lasted well into the night. Very loud! The "grassy" areas are mowed "swamp grass". Obviously this area is subject to flooding as all the electrical is well elevated (4'+ off ground). It did rain during our visit, and water was standing everywhere for two days afterward. The park is approximately 5 miles from I-24 on narrow asphalt roads, one of which crosses a steep railroad embankment (similar to a levee). I was concerned I might damage my hitch and/or pin box driving across it. There are two tight turns that require no oncoming traffic to utilize the whole of both roads to negotiate. There is only one women's and one men's toilet/shower rooms for the whole park. One better hope that it is not busy as one walks across the gravel lot. There are two washers and three dryers; however, the dryers have only one heat setting - "high". One might choose "Delicate" or "Low" heat, no matter because the dryer (50 minutes for $1.75) gets hot enough that one cannot touch the inside drum. This park is under new owners, but beware the husband. He is very OCD about late checkouts and driving through unoccupied spaces! He will literally run across the park to confront someone with anger. Though not the park's fault, the electrical line voltage ran over 131 VAC for several hours several times a day. Our SurgeGuard ATS safely disconnected the RV, but then we were basically boondocking. One needs to be careful leaving the RV door open as the gnats will invade the RV. One reviewer stated the owners space RVs out for privacy; however, this is totally untrue. There are three RVs on the south loop, and we are all parked next to each other with empty spaces down the way. On the positive side, this appears to be a clean park. Even the permanent residents and rental RVs are not that junky. We will not return. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Paducah has the National Quilt Museum which is surprisingly interesting! Across the Ohio River is Metropolis, home of Superman with a large statue and a campy museum/gift shop. Definitely worth a visit! The Purple Toad Winery tasting room is well worth a visit. The "Land Between The Lakes" to the southeast is beautiful. The old downtown area and William Clark (of Lewis and Clark) Museum is well worth a visit.

We stop off for 1 night. Very Clean campground that is 4 miles off the main interstate. Very quiet with a nice little lake in the middle. Rental trailers are kept clean and orderly. WIFI is hotspot by office but if you get close enough it is available in camper. The owners are very helpful and extremely friendly. We highly recommend this campground. Campground is located a few miles off I 24, so no road noise. It is located near a drag strip, which runs on Friday nights and Saturday, noisy but ok. We were there to visit the Quilt Museum. The city wad having a BarBQ festival while we were there which was great and very well attended.
Sites are gravel and level, all utilities worked fine, water pressure is 65 psi. We camped at Victory RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We were just here for one night. The owners were friendly and led us to out site. There are two home style bathrooms, each with shower, toilet and sink. These, and the laundry were clean and neat. The sites are around a small pond with a fountain. Looked like several permanent or seasonal residents but all was clean and neat and the sites were level. There is no shade.
