Good level concrete pad and interior. Very easy in and out. Good electric, water and sewer hook up. Looked very new. Cable was out (apparently for some time) and could not get wifi (although they did advertise it).

Train right next to park. We did hear it but with AC on, it was tolerable. Casino very close (easy walk). We did have access to pool (did not use) and exercise room (free weights and machines. No usable aerobic machines). Old casino: very smokey. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Second time at this park. Nice level concrete full service 50 amp pull through sites. Wifi is very good and cell service is good. Cable did not work at our site and they would not refund a portion of the rate. As others have stated, you have to beg for a receipt and it seemed to peeve the receptionist to no end. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

We were pleasantly surprised to be assigned an end spot with a tree and, like all others, grass and picnic table. Good location for exploring the area. Were never told that we could use the hotel pool (just found out now reading other reviews). Baffling why someone would need a calendar and a calculator in addition to the computer system to check us in and settle up. Did not get an itemized bill the first time. We were told the nightly rates (week and weekend), but then the total was much more. Come to find out their taxes add up to 15%. After renewing for a few more nights, we got an itemized receipt that was wrong, but the amount we paid was correct since it was based on the calculator action (vice what was entered on the computer). The person checking us in could not tell us if breakfast was available at any of the restaurants at the casino during the week. When asked if there was a place to walk dogs, we were told that people go up the hill towards the road, but she didn't know what was up there or where they went. There is miles and miles of a paved bike path in both directions. If you take the path west, you can walk across the Texas St bridge to take you to Shreveport; crossing the bridge is not for the faint of heart. Best place to walk the dogs on site (not on other sites) was along with a bunch of trash. You can hear the trains during the day and night, but we have heard worse. Traffic noise not an issue. Note, that you can boondock for free in the lot to the left as you approach the RV Park building. We also had poor service regarding the casino. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Has laundry room but had to call to get someone to come open as line was forming. Sites level but grounds could use some better maintenance. Freight trains on one end and interstate on side. Lots of construction going on. Safe place to stay and most sites were full. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Casino buffet is decent and if over 55 you can get a card that gives you 50% off Monday & Tuesdays for lunch or dinner, not both on same day. Did not gamble because there is not a non-smoking area. We felt safe staying there and had all we needed within our RV.

This was our first time here and I was somewhat confused by some of the statements made if previous reviews. For example, the interstate is almost 2 blocks away and cannot be heard in the RV park. This is an RV park - Not a campground. About 2/3 of the sites are pull-through and the rest are back-in. The back-in sites are on the south and west sides of the property and are the closest sites to the train tracks and the Red River. I could literally throw a stone into the river from my site. The train bridge is just a bit more distant and is the main reason for how loud these trains are. It also doesn't help that the dozens of trains we heard/saw during our 40+ hours stay, were extremely long and slow moving. I timed one on Saturday morning and, including one stop of 5 minutes, took over 20 minutes to go by the RV park. They also blow their horns multiple times within a mile of passing by the park. Our site was FHU and had a fairly level cement pad. Some of the pull-through sites looked as bit too short for larger rigs to stay hooked up. The cable channels on their 60+ channel cable system was OK but the network and local channels would lose the signal for a few seconds occasionally (sometimes several times a minute). Most sites appear to be satellite friendly. Their 802.11 network was useless during most of our stay. I was able to get one for about and hour Friday afternoon and half an hour on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Even then, the system was slow. The bathroom and shower facilities are in the same building as the registration office. They are small but clean. The laundry was also in this building and has 5 machines. As others have noted, you can use the hotel pool but have to get a door key and wrist bands from the hotel front desk. Unlike previous reviewers, we were the only customers at this large and attractive pool area. There is also a large hot tub. I saw no sign of any recycling. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

This is next door to the casino and at night it is overly bright. The parking lot for the casino is right next to the Rv park & it's very loud. It's very expensive for what little amenities. You are able to use the casino pool but first you need to go to the front desk, get a hotel key & arm bands. The pool had many kids who weren't guests. Those others who were guests were very disruptive. It did have a hot tub.

The road is all concrete to the rv park, concrete pads. The park is neat, clean & easy to pull through. All hookups worked fine. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Level cement pads with grassy area in between. Separate cement pad for parking your tow vehicle. Picnic table at each site. Pet friendly with plenty of space to walk the dog. Best Wi-Fi we've ever experienced at an RV park. Door to door service if you wish to go to the Casino. We would definitely stay here again. The park is right next to Casino parking lot. The sites were level and had some trees and lawn area. Pretty close together but if your the stay in the camper sort, this won't bother you. I didn't like that when we checked in we had to take the site assigned to us even though there were other empty sites we would prefer. They stated that they were reserved but when we called we were told there was no reserving of specific sites. The casino lights are bright all night but you can easily block your windows. There is traffic noise because it's close to interstate and there is a train track right over the back of the park. There were several trains. That didn't especially bother me because my air conditioners blocked most of the noise but it might bother some people. Nice restaurant and bistro a short walk to casino. You can use the pool but it gets a bit rowdy. When we stayed there were lots of children and young people making out in the pool. Extremely crowded. You have to wear a wrist band you can get from hotel desk. Security is seen going around the camp area several times. I felt safe there. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

I am not sure if it was noisy or just really loud. The highway is on one side and train tracks on the other. Spots were kind of tight to use. No facilities were available. The price was cheap and we got what we paid for. If I am in this area again, I would drive for several hours if needed to find another place to stop for the night. This park was a very popular spot with transient RV'ers coming and going. A great spot to stop for a night or two with the price being right. We had an end spot near the train which did cause some noise, but just from the train itself, not from the whistle being blown which we have experienced at other park. Good location to visit many casinos. Wifi didn't really work. Satellite wasn't a problem. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

As stated by others, site was cramped, hard to get into, and would have been difficult to find if I had not looked at Google maps overview before heading there. Had real difficulty contacting the park to make and/or change reservations. The park office phone usually wasn't answered and had to call the casino to be transferred. Stayed there one night as a stop over only. Will more than likely not go back We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park. We had a pull-through, and it worked out well. The only downside is the casino. It was run down and the buffet was terrible. Even worse, it was $43.00. That is pretty pricey for a casino buffet. That being said, we would stay here again because it is convenient. We would plan ahead and not eat or play at the casino unless they improve it. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

Very easy to get to off Interstate. Wi-Fi did not work the entire 3 days we were there. Casino is old and lots on complaints from personal on how they are treated. Most are going to new casino soon. I will stay here when in area. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

My wife and I stayed at this campground, in site number 8, for two nights in a 33' trailer. This is a nice, clean park that is located conveniently near the casinos and downtown Shreveport/Bossier area. The sites are close together and feel cramped. There was nowhere to park our tow vehicle except in the grass beside or RV. I also had trouble pulling out the day we left due to the way the people beside us parked their tow vehicle. The sites are all concrete and level. There are no fire rings and due to the closeness of the sites we felt that it was not the kind of park that you would want to visit if you just wanted to sit out and relax outdoors. However, I do not believe that is what this campground was intended to be used for. It is perfect for the intended use, which is to give RVers a place to stay, instead of at the hotel, when you come to town to play at the casino. The Wi-Fi connection only worked sporadically during our stay. The staff was not overly friendly. There was a railroad track directly behind our site that was a nuisance while sleeping. You can get access to the pool if you go to the hotel's main desk and request a key card. I recommend this when the weather is permitting. It is one of the nicest pools we have been to. Overall, due to the cleanliness and convenient location I would have given this campground a 10. However, the lack of Internet, the closeness of the spaces, and the other reasons mentioned above made it fall short. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.
