We stayed here for three nights to get a break off the road as we headed west for the winter. The park has easy access on and off of I20 and is located right next to the casino. The area is secure and quiet, except for some active train tracks. We were located in the middle of the park so I'm sure we were didn't notice the trains as much as those back up against the tracks. Security from the casino walked the park on foot. The sites are fairly good size with a parking apron for your toad. We had a pull through that was easy to get into. Not all pull throughs are long enough to stay connected for an overnight if you have a larger vehicle. Water and sewer worked fine. Some of the electrical towers looked beat-up, but ours worked well. We had to deploy our portable dish to get satellite, as there are trees on some of the spots that give some shade. Verizon cell signal was strong. Each site had a picnic table and room to put out your grill if you wanted. We were able to walk to the casino for dinner, and were within easy drive of several places to eat in Shreveport. We were also close to grocery stores. All in all, a nice and convenient place to stop for a few days and see Shreveport. It was clean, well-kept with decent sites. The only real drawback was the train noise and some upkeep needed on electrical boxes. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There's a riverwalk that runs right by the park. It's accessable off the street in front of the casino. The riverwalk is over 4 miles long and is great for walking, biking or jogging. The casino has a seafodd buffet on Friday nights. All of the area casinos have buffets.

We were first here (see my 10/15 review for a more detailed description of the park) 2 years ago. The park has FHU sites with cable TV. The Wi-Fi continues to be unreliable at best. The bathrooms and laundry are OK. Being able to use the hotel pool is the only nice recreational feature. The train noise is still a big negative. I still see no recycling. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

All of the hook ups were in good working order. The park was clean and all concrete roads and pads. Good location with easy on and off I20. My site and all of the other sites were not level. Rigs were either jacked up or slammed to the ground on one end. Most of the trees drop some sort of acorns. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice convenient park to I-20 but also really close to a busy railroad track. I grew up around trains so they reminded me of childhood but some might be bothered. All paved roads and sites with extra concrete at your site for the truck/toad. Some good sized trees offer some shade. Exceptionally friendly and helpful office staff although they do have odd hours as others have mentioned. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a basic park attached to the Diamond Jack's Casino. Convenient to I-20 but I noticed no highway noise. There are train tracks with seemingly constant traffic very near but I was not bothered. The campground seemed pretty busy and was full on the weekend and may be used by overnighters. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We did not enjoy the casino. It was mostly empty (mid week) and only the buffett was serving. We were not impressed. Don Juanz Baja Tacos serves unique and delicious seafood tacos and is worth a visit. The margaritas were not to our taste though.

Easy access from highway. Level, paved, partly shaded sites make this park a great stopover park. Excellent value given the nice facilities. Strange office hours resulting in Bathrooms and Laundry closed after hours (5 pm). Weak wifi. Would recommend a reservation if you are traveling during busy seasons. We will stay here again in our Motorhome. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

Third time here because had a free night from the casino. Still good place to stay. Level concrete, full hookup, pull thru sites. Some grass and a patio. Near I-20 with pretty easy access.

Office is only open odd hours. (Closed at 2:30 the day we went, but they called and held a spot.) Trains are constant if that bothers you. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

Full hook ups, paved level site. Good for a one night stop. Easy on/off from interstate. Only drawback is the train tracks that border the back of the small park. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

The park was small but adequate for an overnight stop. The woman who checked me in was so unfriendly and did not want to give us a pull through, said there wasn't any available when clearly there was. Some friends of hers came in and somehow I got a laugh out of the group. Suddenly a pull through became available! She gave us no information about bathrooms or showers and we though there were none. The casino staff was not much better. The $25 a person buffet was horrible. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

We have stayed in several casino RV parks for easy overnight stays, and this was one of the nicest casino RV parks we have seen. The roads and sites are all paved / concrete, they are very level and have ample space between sites. The sites have grass, trees and picnic tables. It is close to the highway and we did hear some highway noise, but it was nothing the A/C couldn't drown out. We were parked across from the office so we did not hear any of the trains, even though there was a track close to the park. We would definitely stay again. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

We only stayed for one night on our way from Orlando to LA. Easy access from I20. Close the the casino. We ate at the casino buffet on crayfish night (if you are into crayfish). We arrived after the office closed and left before the office opened, which was no problem for them. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Good place to stay. This is our third time. Close to I-20 and good wifi. Mostly level concrete full hookup pull thrus. Trains seem to be more active and louder at night, so if bothered, stay elsewhere. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Motorhome.

Check in was easy. The site was dirty. Cable was broken. WiFi was average with many drops. Since the campground is next to the casino there is plenty of light. Noise was from the interstate, the trains and the parking garage was constant. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was a single night stay. We picked it due to its proximity to I-20 and a casino. The facility is all concrete and fairly easy to get in/out. spacing can be tight when everyone is coming and going, so you have to be patient. We had a lot of room at our site had we chose to stay longer. We visited the casino (3 levels) and ate at the buffett. The Fri-Sat Buffett is seafood and a bit more expensive. Food was not up to the caliber of other casino's and not cheap. The Casino itself is old, smokey and full of penny slots (we won big on those) as well as table games. It's not Vegas folks, closer to Laughlin. Overall we had a good time, the RV park is quiet and wold stay again if in town. We camped at DiamondJacks Casino and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
