2 Parks near Breaux Bridge, Louisiana
Apr 2016 - $32.00
Very convenient location, right off I-10. Noise was not too bad but you could hear the interstate. It all becomes "white noise" to me. I didn't use the laundry or any facilities so I can't comment on them. The site I had (48) was very level, gravel and long. There was a patch of grass with a picnic table and fire ring at each site. The sites were pretty spacious but we had no neighbors to really judge. DirectTV satellite could not pick up local channels but over the air worked well. Verizon cell service was good. The roads were wide and easy to maneuver in my 45' motorhome. It was a good place to stay while visiting the Lafayette area. - SNL
Feb 2016 - $23.00
The rate listed reflects the weekly rate. Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first: when it rains the sites get very muddy, there is lots of road noise, and the voltage of the power at our site (45) appeared to be a little low.
Now for the good stuff. Most sites are very nicely shaded and very spacious. The laundry facility and restrooms are very nice. The staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. Getting in and out is very easy with easy access on and off I-10 (now I-10 itself between Baton Rouge and Lafayette is another story - it's terrible).
We would definitely stay here again. - JPen365
Nov 2015 - $31.00
Sites plenty wide and long. Utilities worked well including WIFI, but 50 amp connection does not include a circuit breaker at the post. There is no cable TV, but we got sketchy reception of the broadcast channels on our antenna. Entry road has multiple potholes. Park is at the end of a dead end road and has a good gate that requires entering a code. Surprisingly little road noise since the park is adjacent to I-10. - ramblin' vagabonds
May 2016 - $20.00
We stayed at this park in Feb of this year, and liked it so much we stopped again for an overnight stay. They didn't disappoint! There are some issues with interior roads that have been damaged by heavy rains and heavy motor homes but they advised they have scheduled repairs. This park is off the beaten track, and frankly the roads in LA leave a lot to be desired. The roads were so rough getting to the park we said we may not stop here again. Which is a shame. This park is beautiful and relaxing, with almost all sites around small fishing lakes. There are only a couple of pull-through sites. Hate that the State and County roads are so lousy getting here. - Vicki K
Apr 2016 - $32.00
Price reflects 2 days Passport America, 3 days full price. We had site 29 and it was perfect for us. The park was very clean and well maintained. We backed up to a fishing pond with a small tree for shade. One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed. Staff was friendly and assisted us in with sight-seeing in the area. - dalebonnie
Mar 2016 - $20.00
We spent 2 nights here at the Passport America rate of $20/night. All utilities worked well, OTA antenna picked up several TV stations. Verizon Voice and hotspot worked well. No trees so the rooftop dish also worked well. The road was blacktop and site was concrete backing up to a large pond. Very quite and dark at night. 10 or so minutes from I10 on several country roads but many signs providing good directions. Office staff friendly. - big greg
