First I'll mention the ONLY bad thing, and that is their interior paved roads. They were paved less than a year ago, but are torn up and the RV Park is in litigation regarding it. NOW, We love this park, beginning with the very friendly staff that checks you in...very helpful. We had one of the 3 pullthroughs, but the other sites were all concrete and lengthy. There are a lot of beautiful, big class A's here, and all of the RV's are nice...no junk anywhere. The grounds were immaculate, and we saw the owner going around in a golfcart picking up every little bit of trash. The swimming pool was very clean and well set up with tables, chairs, umbrellas. We don't fish, but it is available for the campers...I think there are 4 or 5 small lakes that are stocked! There was a nice playground if you have kids, and a lot of the sites have swings to sit and view the lake. Most of the sites are lakefront. No cable, but satellite was easy to get, and the free wifi worked well. This park had everything we look for and we would definitely stay here in the future....hope they are successful in getting the roads replaced because they spent a fortune having everything paved. It was also very quiet at night. It's a few miles from the town and interstate, but it's a pleasant drive through a nice residential area. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We went to Poche's Market for lunch one day because I wanted authentic Cajun food. It was good and there were a lot of locals eating there. They also had a good market for meat and necessities.

Poche's RV Park is a popular campground in the Breaux Bridge area. It's a little round-about way to get there from I-10, but, well worth the effort. The sites surround two large fishing lakes and most are back-ins. The sites are angled in relation to the roadway, so it's less of a challenge to back in. Friendly and informative staff. Very family orientated. Utilities are placed at the extreme rear of the site, so you may need all the sewer hose you have. Good clear sky for satellite TV. Quiet. They could do a little to smooth out the roads in the campground. This is our second visit to Poche's. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed this campground. The route in from I10 includes a few rough roads and several turns, so you want to check out the directions to the campground. As others have said there are five 10 acre lakes. There's a paved road around one of the lakes and alongside of another with back in campsites all along the way. In this campground just about everyone has a lake-front site! The road around the lake is mostly good, but has several rough sections where the big rigs have broken up the pavement. That's the only real negative I can think of. The lady who checked us in was very welcoming and accommodating. Our site was paved and mostly level. We had fairly good WiFi and full hookups. The discount is only early in the week. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park and loved having the ponds to fish in. No license required. We had a tough time getting into our site due to the narrow road and almost a "T" back-in. Most sites are not like that, but ours was (site 51). The utilities all worked well. The WIFI was iffy when the park filled up, but good when It was mostly empty. The rate was for PA and Good Sam for a week ($188). Laundry was small but clean, washers $1.75 and $1.50 for dryers. Our clothes did not get dry as they only ran 30 minutes. Nice playground and water fountains for kids to play in. They told us if we wanted a picnic table to let them know and when we did they had it there right away. As mentioned, the asphalt road around the park Is getting really torn up as there wasn't a base under it. They were out trying to break down the ruts but it was a constant job for them. Probably the only down side was our neighbor appeared to be a long-term renter and let their dogs out without being on a leash, one of the dogs barked constantly when the owner wasn't there, and they didn't pick up after their dogs. It was pretty disgusting. That was the only site that appeared to be a long-term renter. We would stay here again. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park with lots of fishing where you don't need a license. Almost all sites back up to gorgeous lake views. Very quiet and peaceful place. A very nice, brand new playground and splash pad for kids. And they don't charge extra for kids! Wonderful! The lady at the check-in office is one of the most pleasant I have ever met at check-in. The rate reflects the Passport America discount. Verizon data worked really well there, and I think the WiFi worked well too, but I didn't use it much. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects Passport America and Good Sam Discount for 1 week. Roadways are pretty rough around the park, lots of holes in the pavement. Level concrete pads with good hookups except sewer is at the back so I needed two hoses but not a big deal. Wifi is great although there wasn't a lot of other campers here so it might get worse if the park was full. Most sites back onto a lake stocked with fish. Would stay here again. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice RV park a bit northeast of Lafayette, LA. They have several fishing ponds and the RV sites are located around one of the larger ones. The sites are all back in with large and level concrete pads. On the downside, the asphalt drive that encircles the RV sites is broken and buckled in several places. Our site had a picnic table but it seems that not all sites do. We had full hookups with 50amp electric. There is a small pool but we didn't use it due to the weather. The bathroom and shower facilities are a bit rustic. The free WiFi worked well for us. AT&T 4G signal strength here was pretty good at -96dBm. We paid $25 per night with Good Sam and Passport America discounts. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park in Feb of this year, and liked it so much we stopped again for an overnight stay. They didn't disappoint! There are some issues with interior roads that have been damaged by heavy rains and heavy motor homes but they advised they have scheduled repairs. This park is off the beaten track, and frankly the roads in LA leave a lot to be desired. The roads were so rough getting to the park we said we may not stop here again. Which is a shame. This park is beautiful and relaxing, with almost all sites around small fishing lakes. There are only a couple of pull-through sites. Hate that the State and County roads are so lousy getting here. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We really enjoy this park. Fishing at the back of your site. Passport America Sunday to Thursday, then Good Sam the rest of the week. There are about 5 or 6 large stocked ponds with great fishing.

The roads have been paved since we were here last. Sites are full hook up with 30/50 amp electric. Back in cement pad. 2 or 3 pull thrus sites. There is a small pool. There is a small clean laundry. Clean restrooms and showers. Few OTA TV channels. Great people work at the check in. Over all the park is very clean and well kept. The only thing missing is cable TV. The park is nice and quiet. There is shopping near by.

The roads getting to the park were really bad coming from I-10. I mean very, very bad. This should not detract from the park rating. The lady in the office told us about an easy way to get to I-49 and the roads were much much better.

I would rate this park a 10 if it had cable TV and privacy between sites.

Rate is for Passport America, for 4 days then Good Sam for 3 days. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Price reflects 2 days Passport America, 3 days full price. We had site 29 and it was perfect for us. The park was very clean and well maintained. We backed up to a fishing pond with a small tree for shade. One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed. Staff was friendly and assisted us in with sight-seeing in the area. This is a very pleasant park, that is somewhat out in the boonies. It is a rural park with sites around one of several fishing lakes. The sites are paved, with modern hook-ups We have stayed at this park before, and probably will again. The biggest negative is driving to and from the park on rather narrow roads. In fact we got mildly lost -- trying to return to the highway. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park and the new, at least to us, paving of the roads was a nice surprise. Wi-Fi was OK and as noted the hookups are in the rear, which is nice for a full wall slide that doesn't have to dodge the power pole. But you have to back up all the way to dump. It does have only 2 pull-throughs and the back-ins can be tight getting into. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent 2 nights here at the Passport America rate of $20/night. All utilities worked well, OTA antenna picked up several TV stations. Verizon Voice and hotspot worked well. No trees so the rooftop dish also worked well. The road was blacktop and site was concrete backing up to a large pond. Very quite and dark at night. 10 or so minutes from I10 on several country roads but many signs providing good directions. Office staff friendly. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is overrated. IMO it's nowhere near an 8.5. While sites are paved, they are short and there is not adequate space to park the toad. Hook-ups are located at the rear of the site and you will need at least 25-30 feet of sewer and water hose to reach them. Interior roads are narrow. Restrooms and showers are located at the entrance and a fair walk from most sites. There are a few pull throughs but most sites are back-in and close together. There is a small grass strip between sites. No cable but a few over the air channels. Clear view for satellite. The only attractions I see for this park is if you wish to fish. Fishing, no license required, is free for campers. We will not return. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.
