We've stayed here many times and that should tell it all. The only problem and not the fault of the park is that the roads have come apart. Faulty construction followed by a law suit. They soon will be repaved. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great place. Although we only stayed one night, we were wishing to have stayed longer. Sites were concrete pads, with new utility hook up pedestals. Fish ponds with sites around them were really nice. Well cared for grounds and outbuildings. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park for families that love to fish. The ponds are located so close to where you park that if you had a toy hauler with a drop down deck, you could fish off the back. Only down side it is a little tight for backing large rigs. While you are hooked up it can also be very tight for another rig to get by. Sites are pretty close, and the locals seemed to think they owned the road. Luckily I had already parked or would not have gotten by one unthinking parked car. Still I would stay again. Folks in the office were great, the owner I think. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

It was about 6 miles from the main part of town with fuel and food. Roads need work, but where in LA don't they.

Workers were very friendly, loved the site we were at. Pool and splash pad were clean and the kids enjoyed it. However the roads inside the park are very bad, and the fishing wasn't really good. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Definitely for fisherman. Most sites over look a lake. Fishing is free if you are staying there. Relatively quite. Site was cement and level separated by grass. Wi-Fi worked OK. Major complaint is the state of the roads which is terrible. We requested a different site only because the road to get there was so bad. Would stay there again. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is located on a beautiful piece of property with most of the sites positioned around numerous lakes that you can fish in. Most are back in with a hand full of pull through sites. The sites have plenty of room between them with trees and grass surrounding the sites. Using PA, the value was good. The only issue we had was that the roads in the park were bordering on horrendous. Missing pavement, large pot holes and deformed blacktop high enough to easily catch a jack on an RV. Other than that, it was nice. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Some of the roads from I-10 to the campground were pretty rough but adjusting speed and course when possible around the rough pavement and all was fine. Check in was smooth and we were given a map with all the empty slots marked and told we could have our pick. Drove around the lakes twice and picked spot 28. The road was mostly gravel, and they were making some improvements. Most of the spots are back in to the left, nice angle and you rear is on the lake. Nice cement pad, perfectly level with power, water, and sewer at the rear of the site. Fire rings at every other site. Picnic tables at every site. The sites were close together with very nice grass between on most. Laundry and bath areas were spotless, washing machines and driers pretty new, worked well. Very relaxing campground with fishing at your door. Paperwork and camp staff can give excellent suggestions on local restaurants, all we visited were excellent. The people of the area are warm and friendly. In every restaurant we struck up conversation with locals sitting at nearby tables, all very willing to offer up suggestions about local activities. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A little off the interstate, but was not a bad stop. It was a little buggy setting up, but when we walked the dogs later it seemed fine. Almost all sites are waterfront sites with cement pads. Ours was level. Hookups worked fine. Probably pretty hot in the summer. Would stay again. Our price reflects P.A discount. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a fun place to stay, right on the water. Several man made small lakes with back-ins surrounding the banks, but they do have a few pull throughs. Ample room, but the tow vehicle will most likely need to be unhooked. Fishing is included with no license required. Clean grounds with trees, swimming pool, concrete pads and hookups placed correctly. Wi-fi was so-so, but good AT&T cell service. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Others have mentioned rough roads, but they have done work on them and we had no issues at all. Really loved this place. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The owners also have a neat Cajun market with a really good restaurant a mile or so away. By all means check it out if you like the real thing, home made sausage, alligator, and a great assortment of quality Cajun specialties to either take home or eat there. Casual, authentic, and reasonably priced.

This is a very unique campground....first I will start with, the roads are a nightmare to get to this place, probably from some previous flooding and never repaired. Can really shake your brains and RV into another galaxy! Our campsite was surrounded by water, literately. We had a large pond behind us, one in front of us, one to the right of us. Another site on the left of us. They have a total of 5 -- 4 large ponds and 1 small pond. They are stocked with fish and RVers can fish for free. Outsiders pay to fish and are limited to 4 fish per visit. RVers can catch all they want. Our space backed right up to one pond and right in front of us was a road, just wide enough to swing a 40'MH into space....so now we had a small road in front of us and then giant pond again. We had the only street light and fire ring in our row. We weren't comfortable sitting outside as the pond behind us kept gargling or making a weird noise. Would I stay again? For the PA price, probably, for a short stay again. We stayed this time 3 days and that was plenty long enough, it was a pass through. The grass is nicely kept and green. They have an adorable playground with popping water next to it. The water pops out of holes in the ground and you run over or around them. Pool is nice and clean and well stocked with nice lawn furniture. Our picnic table was pretty warped. Most others were fine. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Motorhome.

First I'll mention the ONLY bad thing, and that is their interior paved roads. They were paved less than a year ago, but are torn up and the RV Park is in litigation regarding it. NOW, We love this park, beginning with the very friendly staff that checks you in...very helpful. We had one of the 3 pullthroughs, but the other sites were all concrete and lengthy. There are a lot of beautiful, big class A's here, and all of the RV's are nice...no junk anywhere. The grounds were immaculate, and we saw the owner going around in a golfcart picking up every little bit of trash. The swimming pool was very clean and well set up with tables, chairs, umbrellas. We don't fish, but it is available for the campers...I think there are 4 or 5 small lakes that are stocked! There was a nice playground if you have kids, and a lot of the sites have swings to sit and view the lake. Most of the sites are lakefront. No cable, but satellite was easy to get, and the free wifi worked well. This park had everything we look for and we would definitely stay here in the future....hope they are successful in getting the roads replaced because they spent a fortune having everything paved. It was also very quiet at night. It's a few miles from the town and interstate, but it's a pleasant drive through a nice residential area. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Poche's RV Park is a popular campground in the Breaux Bridge area. It's a little round-about way to get there from I-10, but, well worth the effort. The sites surround two large fishing lakes and most are back-ins. The sites are angled in relation to the roadway, so it's less of a challenge to back in. Friendly and informative staff. Very family orientated. Utilities are placed at the extreme rear of the site, so you may need all the sewer hose you have. Good clear sky for satellite TV. Quiet. They could do a little to smooth out the roads in the campground. This is our second visit to Poche's. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed this campground. The route in from I10 includes a few rough roads and several turns, so you want to check out the directions to the campground. As others have said there are five 10 acre lakes. There's a paved road around one of the lakes and alongside of another with back in campsites all along the way. In this campground just about everyone has a lake-front site! The road around the lake is mostly good, but has several rough sections where the big rigs have broken up the pavement. That's the only real negative I can think of. The lady who checked us in was very welcoming and accommodating. Our site was paved and mostly level. We had fairly good WiFi and full hookups. The discount is only early in the week. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park with lots of fishing where you don't need a license. Almost all sites back up to gorgeous lake views. Very quiet and peaceful place. A very nice, brand new playground and splash pad for kids. And they don't charge extra for kids! Wonderful! The lady at the check-in office is one of the most pleasant I have ever met at check-in. The rate reflects the Passport America discount. Verizon data worked really well there, and I think the WiFi worked well too, but I didn't use it much. We camped at Poche's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
