The rate reflects a Good Sams discount. The campground is located about 10 miles west of Lafayette just off I-10 (not I-12 per a previous review). Access in and out of the park is good. There are several gas/truck stops at the exit, most the north side of I-10, with the park on the south side of I-10. Roadways through the park are paved with gravel/dirt pull throughs of adequate length for your RV and tow or towing vehicle. There is no shopping in the immediate area, but there area couple resturants near the fuel stops and Casinos. The park is open so satellite access is good throughout the park. Verizon and AT&T service acceptable. Park Wi-fi was passable most of the time. Some highway noise, but expected given the proximity of the park to the highway. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access, large pull thru site used, great one way streets. Park area was clean and well maintained. Citrus fruit trees throughout the park and guest were able to pick some fruit. Staff super friendly. Spent time over Thanksgiving and were invited to Thanksgiving Lunch provided by park staff- guests were able to contribute dishes if they wished. Great environment. Situated behind a hotel but was quiet and private. Walking distance to local casino and convenient store. Comfortable short drive to town for shopping. Great area. Although the site were very large, we did disconnect our 5th wheel since we tow with a HDT-parking was available. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a one night stop on a trip west. This park is right off I 10. Gas stations and casinos on every corner, and the rv park is directly behind a motel. Not the nicest of places, but basic needs met. Easy to get into and out of spaces, and full hook ups. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Manager was friendly and helpful. Park was quiet and easy access to Interstate 12. We would stay there again when passing thru Layfayette.

WiFi is public and so slow I gave up trying to access service. Cable service excellent. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly staff. Clean campground. Excellent, stable wifi connection. Spotless restroom facilities. There is a small, but sparkling clean pool, but we didn't use it. It rained for about a few hours, but everything drained off properly. No standing water around site, etc. Convenient to I-10, but noise not too bad for sleeping. Sits behind a truck stop, but did not find that to be problematic. Will definitely stay here again in the future. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Sites are all very similar. There are some back-ins at the rear of the park. We preferred to stay connected to our tow vehicle overnight, so camped in a pull through.

Frog City is a nice little RV Park for just passing through. Nice pool, great hosts, always friendly. All hook ups worked great. WIFI is good for basic service, antenna TV worked well, we used our Satellite dish. Plenty of space so no need to unhook toad. We have a 40 foot DP with 4 slides. Plenty of room for the dog with a few poop stations. No noise from the truck stop as it appears almost closed. This is our 2nd time here and will stay again. We stayed 1 night. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Guided to my site by host. Inquired about local restaurant and they were quick to call and check menu items. We wanted to try alligator. The park roads and parking spaces were all gravel. Hookups were where they should be and easy to access. Not too far from a truck stop and the Interstate, but noise was minimal. Easy off-Easy on the Interstate. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access from I-10. Sites are adequate in size, we were able to park our 40' coach and car. There were branches hanging over the site that would have interfered with our slide. The host came out and cut the offending branches off. The bathrooms were clean and updated. Good strong Verizon signal and local WIFI available. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate across I-10 at the restaurant adjacent to the casino and gas station. The crawfish etouffee was outstanding. Had no idea what Boudain was, but we got two of the links at the store in the gas station and had them with eggs the next morning, also outstanding.

This was an overnight stop. Site was gravel, level and long enough so the tow didn't have to be disconnected. While here there was a tornado warning and it was comfortable to have a big brick motel only 100 feet away as a safe place to seek shelter. Wi-fi was unreliable as it kept dropping in the middle of reading e-mails. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent one night in a 44 ft. motorhome with slide-outs and a tow. Overall, we like Frog City very much for a convenient place to spend the night when traveling on I-10. Sites are gravel, but level and it's easy in/easy out! We've stayed there in the past and would definitely stay there again. The WiFi worked; our site was long enough that we didn't have to disconnect the car; we could open the slide-outs with no problems and the place is surprisingly quiet for a location so close to the interstate. The trees are small, but there was a little shade next to the coach. The hosts couldn't be friendlier or more helpful! There is a Love's Travel Stop just down the road and a casino next door if you're looking for entertainment. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

First, the good news. The staff is exceptionally helpful and courteous. We couldn't ask for better. The grounds are clean and the utilities work well. When we needed a converter to hook up the cable, the manager brought one right over very promptly. The bad news is the location. It is only about a quarter mile from I-10, but there is not much highway noise. However, it is right across the street from a huge truck stop and behind a Super 8 motel. There is also a railroad nearby. It is a very convenient stop off I-10, but it is a 10-15 mile drive to Lafayette for shopping or restaurants. It's not the kind of place we'd want to stay more than overnight. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

As mentioned in a previous review, the location is not great. Right behind a motel, next to a truck stop and close to the interstate. Good for an overnight stop but the price, even with Good Sam, was way too high. Very friendly and helpful staff. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I stayed a week here and was very satisfied with my stay. Close to the I-10 but minimal road noise. Clean, spacious sites, WiFi, TV, water and sewer all very good. Close to casinos, dining and shopping within reasonable distance. I would stay here again. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We've spent at least a month in this park every winter for 10 years, so it clearly meets our needs. Extended stay guests get the quieter back sites, but we've stayed a week or two in the short-term sites up front when the park was full, and never found noise to be a problem.

The park has always felt friendly, clean and safe, but this year's crew has doubled down on their efforts. Workcampers make rounds several times a day, picking up stray litter and generally keeping an eye out for problems or guests who need a hand. Always had time for a friendly wave or chat and never felt intrusive. Gravel sites were regularly groomed, a new handicapped ramp was completed at the laundry/shower building, cleanup stations added in the dog walk areas.

If this area offered prettier scenery, it would be a full 10 for us. As it is, so convenient to the best of Cajun food, music, sights and hospitality, Frog City remains one of our favorite places to stay. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you want a good crawfish boil, Cajun Claws just across I10 is one of the best in Acadiana. And just 5 miles east on I10 is a boudin and cracklins mecca - Best Stop, Billy's and Don's are all within a half-mile of that exit.
