We needed a nice place to stay right off the I-10 and found the Frog City RV Park. What a nice place that was easy to get to and was very clean and easy for a 45 ft. motorhome pulling a toad to navigate.

We were greeted by the manager as we arrived after closing (about 30 minutes). Lori was so nice and friendly making the whole experience a pleasure. I also like the fact that they allow RV washing for a small fee. It it was not forecast for rain, I would have taking them up on that offer.

We were very pleased with this RV park and would highly recommend it. It was perfect for our one night stay. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great park, after our arrival, our host stopped by to make sure we were ok & brought us homemade cookies. Gravel spots are placed well, there is a picnic table & no firepit. The pool is saltwater & well kept. The laundry is $2 per load w/d and the office has quarters. The office also has some products for sale. Otherwise it is close to stores. Minimally shaded spaces but plenty of room. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Candy land Cottage at the next exit has the biggest selection of candy ever! Lots of old time candy too!

Fezzo's restaurant nearby is a great place to dine.

Great little place off the interstate, close to Lafayette. Clean pool, clean park. Nicely mowed, great helpful staff. Free hot cookies on arrival. Site large enough for 40 foot with toad, strong internet (Tengo) that stayed connected. No road noise that we heard from the nearby truck stop and heard a distant train, but no biggy. We loved the place and will come again, we stayed 2 nights. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great resturants nearby and great shopping.

All was good: power, cable, wifi, friendly helpful people. Sites are hard crushed rock and a little narrow but quite level. Turns are a little tight but no problem with our 35 foot class A and tow. Grass and dog runs are in good shape. Individual bathroom/showers are a real plus. Park is well lit at night.

"Roadys" gas station is just next door and has room for RV gas rigs in addition to diesel. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

After exiting I-10 and heading south for a block, watch for sign to turn right onto service road just past the gas station

We were given what was called their "summer rate" which was less than the $40 Good Sam rate. The campground was fairly empty when we arrived early but got fuller as the day went by. We had no problems getting in and out of our pull-through site in our 42' motorhome with our toad attached. There were some pot holes but we've seen worse.

The office ladies were very nice and even gave us a baggie with two homemade chocolate chip cookies. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park has mostly pull-through sites that are full hookup with cable TV and Wi-Fi. Since there appear to be many extended stay customers, you may want to call ahead to make sure there is a site available. The park has a small pool and decent bath and laundry facilities. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very clean and well maintained park. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a very good overnight layover while on your travels except for one thing...the price. The park has recently dropped affiliation with PassportAmerica which now puts the nightly rate at $44 unless you have Good Sam's 10% discount which drops it down to $40 and change. Except for the nightly rate, I would stay here again. I have a 37' motorhome and pull a p/u and didn't have any problems negotiating the interior roads or getting into and leaving my parking space. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The RV park is on the south side of I-10, just past the truck stop and behind the Motel 8. There is a little service road that you need to take at the Motel 8 that is a hairpin turn towards the truck stop and then you turn left to get to the RV park.

Staff running around on the golf cart was rude. Park is tight for a big rig. If it was full it would be difficult to make turns. We were lucky and got there before most of the spaces filled up. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Office staff came out to greet us and show us parking spot. It had been raining heavily, but other than a few puddles no problems with water. Truck stop next door was not an issue as I thought it might be, but dumpster was emptied noisily about 230 AM. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park staff is very friend and extremely helpful. The spaces are a good size and for dirt spaces they are pretty level. No issues with trees or to maneuver a 45 foot coach throughout. They provide a Picnic table as well as a grass area in every campsite. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definetly eat a Fezzo's Restaurant. Outstanding food and service.

We stayed here as a base for exploring Lafayette and surrounds. The site was crushed rock, but level. Our site was the first row in the park. The park is located conveniently off I-10 just behind Roady's Truck Stop. That made for lots of traffic noise round the clock. Still the park is clean. The restroom/showers are extremely clean. The staff is very helpful.

Our rig is 26' long. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Lafayette is about 5 miles east on I-10, or US-90. Rayne, "Frog City," is just 5 miles west on US-90 and a quaint place to visit with an interesting history.

Don's Meat Market is between the park and Lafayette with great boudain and Cajun spices. We ate at Fezzo's at the same exit our last night and rate it 4-forks for food & service.

Staff rude/cranky. Vehicles coming in and out of park constantly. Was not worth the money for what you get compared to other campgrounds. Terribly overpriced. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice long gravel pull through for 35' motorhome and CRV. Good WiFi and cable. Nice security light at each pedestal. Nice picnic table at each site. Clean, private unisex bathrooms. Only drawback is no fenced dog park but plenty of space to walk dogs on leash. Rate was a December winter special. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was my second stay here this year as I go back and forth on I-10. I like the proximity to the interstate, but this time I got a space right next to the truck stop and it was very bright and too loud to leave windows open, which is why I rated it lower. They used to accept PA, but was discontinued in June 2014. Bathrooms are clean--several separate rooms containing both toilet and shower. WiFi worked fine and the cable has 60+ stations. I would ask for a space farther away from the entrance if I go there again. We camped at Frog City RV Park in a Motorhome.
