3 Parks near Kinder, Louisiana
Apr 2016 - $22.00
Wonderful park! Stayed here overnight and enjoyed the casino and reataurants. Free shuttle service from your RV spot to casino runs 24 hours. All staff were friendly and helpful! Will definitely return! Lot spacing was spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface was a concrete pad and features a picnic table and patio. - Cgates
Mar 2016 - $25.00
This is a casino campground with a huge entrance and wide paved streets. Although the concrete pads look level, we had trouble leveling on the first site we were assigned due to the up-rise at the street. We had no satellite issues, and the wifi was excellent. We did not use any amenities of the park except the shuttle to and from the casino. Very easy access off a four-lane US highway 21 miles from I-10. - SMorin
Mar 2016 - $30.00
We stayed one night while passing through the area. The RV sites are in the middle of the "chalet" village and while you don't get the campground feeling it is convenient to the Casino and was fairly quiet at night. The hookups were good and we used the park Wi-Fi. The casino runs a shuttle bus to the park. We would stay here again while passing through the area; however, we don't view it as a "destination" park.
There is no shade I saw for any of the sites. The sites are all pull-through with concrete pads and patio area with a picnic table.
I can't speak highly enough of the office staff at check-in and check-out, it was a pleasure. - jtl2
Dec 2015 - $18.00
Nice older campground with few amenities. Single restroom/ shower combo, 1 men's, 1 women's. Lots of long term residents, but everyone seemed friendly enough. Some road and train noise, but not enough to be a bother. Interior roads have some gravel, could use a little more. Easy access to Hwy 165. Good spot for overnight, or a few days to see the sights in the area. - Oldbillm
Jun 2015 - $18.00
Gravel roads, grass sites with some gravel (it rained and I didn't get stuck). About 1/2 full with what looks like migrant workers with a few permanent or long term residents. Easy on/off LA165 about 10 miles north of I-10 and 13 miles from the Coushatta Casino. No problems with electric or water but the WiFi was slow and in & out at times. No cable and over air is real weak. When it rains, no TV. I camped here in a 36' Fifth Wheel. - JimChan52
Mar 2015 - $20.00
The website and the office staff really paint a different picture than the reality. Most of the sites on are on grass - not even shell or rock - so during our stay it was very muddy. The Wi-Fi was not stable and kicked us off almost every 1 - 3 minutes. The bathrooms are not heated. We specifically wanted to fish in the pond - it is very small.
No picnic tables or grills. - GConthemove
