3 Parks near Kinder, Louisiana

The RV facilities were clean and spacious. The proximity to the casino and hotel facilities is nice, but the restaurant offerings advertised on site are limited. The casino itself is dismal and reeked of smoke, as did all the restaurants located inside. The food was not bad, despite the awful ventilation system.
We were just passing through and wanted to eat a quick dinner out. For that purpose, this was great. I would not recommend it for a multi-night stay unless you are seeking entertainment elsewhere. It was a great value.
One issue we had was that they put the hookup facilities too far down on the site and we had to go in backwards. It was not a big deal because the sites are spacious, but it was poorly done. - PBW

Concrete level sites and roads with full hookups. Lots of space between units for slides. Great WIFI reception. Office and meeting room has big screen TV, vending and games. Super clean restrooms and showers. Easy walk for dogs with designated areas. Casino shuttle runs 24/7 and is free but we tipped $1.00. - filecutter

Very nice park, Easy access in and out. Very spacious sites and level concrete pads. Could use a little more in the way of shade trees.
Very nice pool and RV campsites. Also, 4 passes to the Dream Pool located near the Casino and hotels. Golf carts are allowed and recommended. However a shuttle service does come by quite frequently.
Would be nice if a reduced rate was available that did not include the Dream Pool passes.
Only disappointment was the fact that someone felt the need to steal a Yeti cooler off the patio of my RV space. - Leon-2579

Gravel roads, grass sites with some gravel (it rained and I didn't get stuck). About 1/2 full with what looks like migrant workers with a few permanent or long term residents. Easy on/off LA165 about 10 miles north of I-10 and 13 miles from the Coushatta Casino. No problems with electric or water but the WiFi was slow and in & out at times. No cable and over air is real weak. When it rains, no TV. I camped here in a 36' Fifth Wheel. - JimChan52

The office wasn't open when we arrived but a quick phone call and someone arrived. We had a grass site that was level. The mosquitoes were bad in the evening but we did hear the fogger driving around about 11:00 pm. Since we were only one night I don't know if the mosquitoes were better after they fogged. It seemed that most of the people staying long-term were around the perimeter and the short-term were in the middle section. This gave more of a camping feel to the park. The bathrooms seemed clean though we didn't use them. The park is a good distance off of I-10. There were some smaller stores within a few miles for basic items. Our $16 rate was for Passport America. - Michaeljess

When we arrived on Sat afternoon early, no one in the office. We had problems with the electricity to site 71 (72 & 73 also). There was no breaker at power point. We figured out what appeared to be an old mobile home power pedestal had breakers which controlled several other power outlets. We later discovered that the power was not grounded. Since we were setup, we didn't move. There was no one to complain to since it was Easter weekend. We did complain on Monday, but attitude was that things were beyond owners control regarding the electricity. Tuesday morning at 3 am a four hour thunderstorm hit. The sites didn't drain about 2-3 inches of standing water. We took dogs for a walk and our blind female dog started yelling and crying, went into convulsion and her legs were all contracted. My wife handed her up the steps to me and we all got shocked. We were very unhappy and the attitude was that they can't do anything until they know about it. There is such a thing a preventative maintenance. You risk your life staying here! - bilmo
